Dont Pray For Me

RAE POV
Everyone put their dishes in the sink before going back to the table and grabbing a deck of cards. As everyone began playing cards I cleaned some dishes that were piled in the sink. I was drying it when I seen lights out the window in front of me, they soon turned off and I squinted my eyes before I seen some guns being pointed at the house.

"Get down!" I screamed as I pulled the closest person to the floor with me. I grabbed my gun from the case under the sink and crawled to the side door as the rest of the group did the same.

The gun fire didnt stop as we all spread out around the house and got ready for an ambush. I looked down at my phone and seen that there was a group chat going on. I guess were going to let the assholes in the gate.

We were all in stealth mode when we snuck out the house and into the bushes, soon the gates opened and people went rushing in, spread out. Nix was on the ground with her "stance" as I grabbed one guy and shot his hands causing him to drop his pistol.

I had my hand over his mouth so no one heard his screams as I laughed "You need a doctor baby?" Nix looked over at me and laughed as well before she turned serious "You scared?" she asked him before I shot him in the head spewing blood on Nix.

This is the best time to have a silencer, I thought as I looked over to Nix who was saying a silent prayer with her rosary in her hand. She tends to do that when she has to kill someone, being a doctor means were supposed to save lives but in this world things go awry all the time.

I seen Brian run out from where he was and stab one guy in the head before he took the guys gun and climbed into the tree next to him. Holy shit ive never seen someone climb a tree that fast in my life! I thought as I ran to another bush to get closer to one of the guys. I shot him a couple times in the chest and looked as the men outside went down quickly. Body after body hit the ground.

By this time I was out of bullets in one of my guns so I reached for a gun that was on the ground before I looked up to see a man in front of the bush where Nix was standing. He had a gun pointed at her and she slowly walked out of the bush, he laughed thinking he had the an advantage, but that was the wrong thing to do because Nix kicked his hand and punched him straight in the throat before pouncing on him and slamming his head against the ground over and over again, rosary still in hand.

This bitch is crazy, shes always preferred to fight instead of just kill, but thats one of the things that makes her so unique. She finished him off by stabbing him repeatedly in the chest before getting up. She waited as a guy came running towards her just to be knocked down by Zacky, he knocked the gun out of the guys hand and wrapped a chain around the guys neck. He thrashed against Zacky but no matter how hard he tried Zacky didnt let go and when the guy finally blacked out Zack let him slump to the ground before he stomped on the guys throat until he heard the crack and saw blood drip from the mans mouth.

We all worked our way to the side of the house Jimmy seemed to have the most fun out here. Hes so agile that no matter how many times the guy shot at him he missed. The guy clicked the gun a couple times and realized he was out so he started to run but Matt threw his fist into the mans face. "Hey douche, go find your own" Jimmy said causing Matt to laugh and move onto the next guy.

Jimmy slid his knife into the guys throat and stabbed him a couple times in the face before he cut out his heart, talk about overkill, at least Jimmy is enjoying himself, twisted fucker. Matt was punched in the face, but with his build he didnt feel a thing. "Wrong decision motherfucker" he said as he grabbed the mans head and twisted it so hard it almost came all the way around, talk about the exorcist, I thought as I shook my head and walked up to Matt, giving him a big kiss.

I found Johnny sitting on some guy who was tied up, he was trying to find out who sent them but the man wouldnt budge so Johnny dug his knife deep into the mans thigh and asked him again. He must have done this 20 times before the guy finally died, you could see the fear and tears on his face but its his fault. He should have told Johnny who sent him and then he could have died faster than he did.

I looked around at the yard and seen no one else but I heard loud voices and cries from the a couple feet away and my heart sank. It was Brian. He had been shot and the bullet was still inside of him, that wasnt the part that I was worried about.

I seen Nix next to him with her hands and clothes covered in blood, she was screaming and crying holding his shirt on him in multiple places. We all ran over and grabbed him before he passed out. We shoved him inside the bed of the truck and piled in, speeding towards the hospital we worked at. I called and let Dean know what had happened and he had some people set up an OR for us. Dean knows what we do and he always helped out when we needed it.

He was waiting outside with a gurney and loaded Brian in it as Nix hopped on top of Brian and straddled him holding constant pressure on the wounds. We got Brian set up and to sleep as we threw on some surgical gloves, gowns, and began to work. Nix looked up to the room above us and nodded her head before she began to cut into Brians abdomen. She was the trauma surgeon so she had this under control. I began to take the bullets out of Brians leg and thigh when I looked up to see the guys with their hands over their faces.

This wasnt the time to laugh but seeing them squirm at what we were doing was hilarious. I looked over at Nix as she was bossing the OR nurses around like she never left this place. This is where we belong, and after all this bullshit is over we will be back in here, thats a fucking promise. I was on the 3rd bullet when I finally talked to Nix "Update Johnson" and she kept at what she was doing while she answered me.

"Bullets out but I also had to take out his appendix because it was shredded by the bullet" she said as she began to finish up.

"Good I just have one more bullet and then we can get him closed and up to the ICU" I said.

Soon we were out of there and had Brian moved to a private room in the ICU that all the famous people use when they come here, its monitored and has no windows so there is no way that anyone can hurt him. We took off the gowns and gloves discarding them in a hazardous waste bin as we walked to the guys. I wiped some sweat off my head and Nix did the same.

"Is he okay?" they asked and I nodded my head. Nix told them about everything that she did and how long he would be here for as I grabbed Matt into a hug. Dean came up and immediately pulled Nix and I into a hug before he took a step back. He let us know that Brian will be monitored 24 hours a day, we would be called when he wakes up and if something happens he will call us first.

We went home and looked around at the bodies all over the ground. We collected the guns and ammo, took all the money and credit cards from their wallets and Johnny found out they work for our uncle. Next we loaded the bodies into the van they came in and drove it to the middle of no where, taking the plates off and poured gasoline all over the dead guys. We set fire to it and waited until they were nothing more than ashes before we extinguished the blaze and wiped down the van just in case someone found it, which they wouldnt.

We went back home and walked inside looking around to see if any of the bullets made their way in, thankfully there wasnt too much damage to things. Everyone went to their rooms and locked the doors. I knocked on Zackys door and he unlocked it for me, I told him goodnight and gave my sister a big hug "you did great Doc" I said before I bumped fists with her, she still had her rosary around her neck, she puts it on before she goes into surgery. I took it off her neck and put it on the nightstand before I walked out of the room.

I went back into Matts room and plopped down onto the bed, snuggling into his chest before turning out the light and pulling the blankets over us. I kissed him and told him I love him before I closed my eyes.
