Dont Pray For Me

ZACK POV

On the ride to the store Nix put on her music and immediately I turned it up when I heard Futuristic come on, I absolutely love his music and it turned me on that Nix could rap his music perfectly.

She bobbed her head as she rapped to his song "No way." Jimmy just enjoyed it but when she turned on "The Greatest" I threw my hands in the air as I rapped with her.

When the song was over she looked over at me and took my hand. "You have a great taste in music Mr Vengeance" she told me.

"You two sound like soul mates, you know that?" Jimmy said as he stuck his face in between Nix and I. I thought about it and I agreed with him so I let it out, "I feel like she actually is my soul mate Jimbo" I said while kissing her hand. I live for that smile that is on her face.

"Is that so?" she said as she kept her eyes on the road.

"Maybe" I teased her, just as my phone lit up in my lap. It was a text from Jimmy so I opened it
"Youre welcome" the message said and I knew he brought the soulmates thing up for a reason now.


"Well maybe im starting to feel the same way" she said to me as she glanced in the mirror at Jimmy who threw his fist in the air feeling accomplished at what he got out of us. Another message came through on my phone and I opened it "Score!" is what Jimmy sent me and I rolled my eyes and sat for a couple minutes looking at my girlfriend as we pulled into the parking lot.

We locked the cars and grabbed a couple baskets before heading in. Rae and Nix were like children, both hopped into the carts and demanded to be carted around, and called "Majesty."

As we passed down each aisle someone would throw things into the cart and by the end of the trip we had enough shit to last us till the end of the world. Just as we got to the checkout Nix got a phone call and she hopped out of the basket and walked away from us. Rae walked up to me as I stared at her sister and gently nudged my arm with her elbow.

"You love heeeeeeerrrr!" she sang as my face turned a deep crimson shade. There was no denying that I was falling head over heels for this woman, she is just the most complex, intricate human being I have ever met. I turned back to look at Raevyn before I admitted everything to her. "Im falling for her more and more everyday, shes like coming up for fresh air, its like I was drowning and she saved me, thats all I know" I told her.

"Jesus Zacky, you and her are meant to be, especially because you just used a line from her favorite show to confess your love for her" she told me and I gapped at her, fuck, that woman is definitely my other half if she loves Greys Anatomy.

"So when are you going to tell her?" she asked, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"I think its still too early to tell her, dont you?" I asked, I genuinely love her but I dont want to scare her away.

"How about this, Ill find out what she feels for you and if the feeling is mutual you will tell her" she said and I nodded my head as I pulled her into a hug. Matt came over and took his woman out of my arms and I turned to see Nix looking at me after she put her phone in her pocket.

MATT POV

When we were in the store I broke away from the group to go get some deodorant and on the way there I just so happened to walk by the jewelry department. I looked around for something and a beautiful Infinity necklace caught my eye. I grabbed it and paid for it at the counter before stuffing it into my pocket.

I walked through the aisles until I found the group at the checkout in the front of the store. I seen Rae and Zacky hugging and walked over to them pulling Rae from his arms. "My turn" I said before I picked her up into a hug. I twirled her for a second and put her down on her feet. She smiled and I pulled out the box and put it in her hand.

Her smile was so big I was pretty sure her face would get stuck that way. She opened it and I seen her eyes twinkle before she looked up at me, there were tears in her eyes and I was scared that I did something wrong so I frowned, sure she hated it.

"Matt...." she said before she wiped her eyes, "I fucking love it!" she said and she took the necklace out and handed it to me to put on her after she held her hair up and out of the way for me. I dont even know how the hell she managed to jump into my arms and knock me back a couple feet, but she did and I nuzzled my face into her neck as she whispered in my ear.

"Matthew Sanders I love you" she said softly against my ear. I was so excited that I pulled away and looked her in the eyes.

"You really love me?" I asked her and she nodded her head yes. I didnt even respond before I crashed my lips onto hers. I kissed her so passionately I thought she would explode, then I pulled my face into her neck and whispered "I love you too Raevyn" as I held her a little tighter, butterflies filled my whole body. She is like a drug, I cant get enough of her and I know that one day she will be Mrs Sanders.

I carried her out to the car as the others put the groceries and stuff in the cars. I started to look around and instead of seeing co-workers I seen a family, and I knew that my future isnt just MINE anymore. I have a family and I have to make sure that ALL of us are ok. I took the keys and put them in the ignition before pulling Rae into my side, this is why I love benches instead of bucket seats, I thought as I drove back to OUR house.
