Fresh Start

By the time the guys finished helping me it was 5pm so we decided to order pizza.

Just as we were all getting comfortable on the couch, the bell rang.

“I’ll get it.” I say starting to stand up.

“No, sit down. I’ll get it. It’s on me” Says Matt running to the door.

“But..but.” I say trying to stop him. Damn him and his dimples and his charm. Ugh!

The guys just laugh at me and try to find someone to watch on T.V.

“Okay we have two cheese and one pepperoni pizza.” Says Matt, putting the pizza down on the table.

“Thank Matt, you didn’t have to get that.” I say, grabbing a slice of cheese pizza.

“Don’t mention it.” Says Matt as he smiles at me. Why god? Why? Why did you make him so damn hot? I blame these damn hormones.

“Everything on T.V sucks right now!” says Zack while browsing the T.V.

“Just put on Netflix on the PS4.” I say, taking a sip of my fruit punch. Damn I miss soda, delicious soda.

“You have a PS4?” says Matt.

“Yup, it’s right there.” I say pointing at it and glancing at Brian who is currently stuffing his stomach with pepperoni pizza and beer.

“What?” says Brian stopping mid bite to look at me.

“Nothing just making sure you’re not chocking.” I say finishing my pizza.

Brian just sticks his tongue out at me and continues stuffing his face.

“You play Call of Duty?” says Matt.

I look up at the screen to see Zack looking through my PS4.

“Yup.” I say as I grab another pizza. So damn good, I wonder how it would taste if I add barbeque sauce on it…

“Oh god, here we go again with Call of Duty.” Say Zack, drinking his beer.
“Hey! Don’t hate.” I say while sticking out my tongue toward him. Yes, I’m a girl and I love video games, problem?

Matt laughs at me and takes the remote from Zack.

“Wanna play against me?” says Matt.

“Oh no! We lost her to the dark side! She’s gone forever!” says Brain.

“Very funny Bri. If you want my cooking you don’t hate on the dark side.” I say poking him in the chest.

“You’re on your own dude!” say Brian as he points to Zack.

“Oh god, what ever will I do?” says Zack rolling his eyes at us.

“So, you in?” says Matt.

“Yeah I’m in if your willing to wait till I shower and change?” I say as I get up and clean the coffee table.

“Sure, I’ll wait.” Says Mat as he finishes his beer.

“Well on that note I must leave, got to get home to my wife.” Says Zack as he gets up from his position in front of the T.V.

“Yeah, same here.” Says Brian getting up from the couch.

“Thank you for helping me out guys, I appreciate it.” I say as I hug and kiss them both on the cheek.

“No problem Jade. If you need help with anything let us know, we are happy to help.” Says Brian as he rubs my baby bump.

“I will.” I say and smile at them.

“Okay move, my turn.” says Zack shoving Brian’s hand out the way.

“Bye baby.” Says Zack as he rubs my baby bump.

I just laugh at him as he and Brian wave and leave.

Now it’s just me, the baby and……………. Matt.

And his dimples.

Damn

I didn’t think this through.

Self control Jade, self control.

“Okay I’ll be right back. Make yourself at home.” I say as I look towards Matt.

“Take your time Jade, no rush.” Says Matt as he gets comfortable on my couch.

I smile at him and go to my room. I turn the water on to fill up the bath tub and head to my closet to pick out my clothes. I pick my underwear, simple black shorts and a big white T-shirt.

Heading back to the bathroom I undress and slide into the water.

I close my eyes and relax in the hot water.

I hope Matt doesn’t ask me any questions. I barely know him and he’s already on my mind way too much.
