Where Do We Go From Here ?

I don't know what was going on anymore I seemed invisible to practically everyone and I watched the press swarm my front lawn wanting to ask Val about her pregnancy but I wanted to keep that private and Val wasn't in the mood for questions at the moment but she was a trooper for being bombarded with questions I could see her face getting pale and she looked like a vampire from my view and she looked so sick it broke my heart into pieces I hate seeing my wife like this.

I saw that a U-Haul truck was pulling up in the empty driveway next to ours getting new neighbors was a grand idea but I had no time for introductions right now I needed to get Val to Dr. Wilson's office so the introductions will have to wait until we have time... Is that Chester Bennington and porn star Sasha Grey ? I thought to myself. I peeked through my curtains to make they were moving next door and this wasn't just a dream but they were unloading their furniture into the empty house they seemed a little bit too content with themselves but that's not my concern.

I watched Val grab her purse and flash an adorable smile at me while she approached the front door she was wearing a Linkin Park shirt and sweatpants I nodded and followed out the front door I opened the passenger side of my car and helped Val inside I flashed her a smile and walked over to the driver's side of the car and I was ready to pull out of the driveway when Sasha forced me to hit the brakes I could see Val already getting annoyed and irritated I hopped out of the car and approached Sasha... God she's gorgeous in person Matt don't even think about I thought to myself. she handed me a basket full of brownies and cookies.

"I just wanted to meet the one and only M. Shadows." Sasha smiled warmly and walked her way back across the street I didn't Val to be late to her appointment as I proceeded to pull out of the driveway for second time I made my down the street comforting Val as she began to get nervous I gave her a reassuring smile and continued to drive to Dr. Wilson's office but Val soon broke the silence.

"So what was that about ?" Val asked looking over at me.

"Just meeting the new neighbors." I replied.

"She looks like a porn slut to me." Val scoffed.

"Well she is." I chuckled.

As we pulled into Dr. Wilson's office the waiting room was full but I didn't want to wait a full two hours to be seen so I sat Val down next to me and she rested her head on my shoulder as soon as she started to fall asleep.

"Mrs. Sanders Dr. Wilson will you see you now." the brunette nurse said but Val was already sleeping peacefully.

"Val, it's our turn sweetheart." I nudged her softly.

"Okay give me a minute," Val had gotten up struggling I helped her up and we made our way to the exam room waiting patiently for Dr. Wilson to check on Val and tell us the current health status of our son I was beyond excited to even describe how I feel right now.

"Hi Mrs. Sanders how do you feel ?" Dr. Wilson asked.

"Like a giant air cannon however I'm doing better." Val half smiled.

"That's insightful." Dr. Wilson chuckled.

"So what's the health status of our baby ?" I asked biting my nails.

"Well there's two heads and four arms and legs." Dr. Wilson said.

"Come again ?" I asked.

"Well it looks like your expecting twins Mrs. Sanders." Dr. Wilson smiled.

Oh Christ I'm going to faint and I needed air and quickly this was too much to take in right now I needed time to adjust to being a father to three children instead of one I could barely handle River let alone two more this just can't be happening.

"So when are we going to tell everyone ?" I asked helping Val into the car.

"When I'm ready to tell everybody." Val smiled.

"Your parents will be shocked." I chimed in.

"So will yours sweetheart." Val chuckled.

As we pulled into our driveway I could see every single bandmates car or truck parked on the curb which surprised both me it was so unexpectedly planned I helped Val out of the car and walked her to the front I pulled my door keys out of my pocket and unlocked my door. Val and I walked inside of a dark and silent house.

"Hello is anyone home ?" I chuckled.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled it shocked Val because she wasn't expecting everyone to show up including Michelle and Debbie Brian, Abel, Claire, and River were all around the table eating leftover crackers.

"Who's idea was this ?" Val smiled

"It was mine and moms idea." Michelle stepped closer and hugged Val whispering congrats in my ear as she embraced me with a warm hug the doorbell rang I rushed to the door but I didn't see anyone there but there was a package it was addressed to Brian and his family... Oh shit this can't be good. I thought to myself.

"Brian there's a package here for you." I said.

"Is there a name on it ?" Brian asked.

"No but there's a note and a video." I said.

Brian rushed and grabbed the package out of my hand like I committed a felony he retreated outside to the patio and opened the box I watched from what I could see from my view as the tablet light shined through the screen door there was Emma in what seemed to be a basement and dirty mattress positioned in a sexual position... God this asshole is going to rape her. I thought to myself.

Brian pulled out the note and it read :

Dear, Brian
If you want to see your precious fiancé alive again bring $15,000 by midnight if you fail to complete this task your entire family will pay the price and some very scary men in ski masks will kidnap your childen.

Brian sat there for five mintutes before rsushing toward his truck and speeding off toward a dark silent road.... Oh Fuck. I thought to myself.
