Bianca POV
The night out with girls was a blast. It sure the heck beat anything in Ohio! I got back to Brian's around 3:00 AM, I went quietly around the house to see if they were up. I went out the doors to the flower garden and it was lit with beautiful lights and there was still music playing and dishes on the table, when they left it was clearly in a hurry. Suddenly, I realized why Brian didn't want me to mention this place!
I was pretty sure I wasn't going to see those two anytime soon. I picked up the dishes, turned off the lights and music and headed up to my room to get some sleep.
The next day we just relaxed at the beach. It was great to actually get to know Brian. We had a great day doing nothing.

Penny's POV
I woke up around noon on Labor Day, I looked at the incredible man asleep next to me and remembered that this time tomorrow Bianca and I would be boarding a plane back to Ohio. Soon it would be time for the dreaded question of every time together.
He woke up and smiled at me with sleepy chocolate eyes. "Hi babe, what are you thinking about?"
I really wasn't ready to ask yet, for fear of the answer. "Nothing."
"We will be together again soon." He said
"You did it again!" And I bopped him with a pillow, soon we ended up in a full-fledged pillow fight.

Brian's POV
I knew Penny was going to ask about when we would be able to get together again. I didn't know how to tell her that it could be a month or more. We were working in the studio and getting ready to announce Brooks as our new drummer. I was putting off telling her as long as I could so that I didn't ruin the rest of our time together. To be honest, I didn't want to think about it either.

Bianca's POV
Labor Day was crazy, there was a barbecue at Zack's. They are all the craziest bunch! I think at some point everyone was thrown in the pool. We all got seriously plastered.
Brian walks up and puts his arm around me and says "Bianca, I have some questions for you." We were both fairly drunk.
"Sure thing, Mr. Chicken Legs."
"Do you think Penelope really loves me?"
"What the hell are you talking about? Why would you even have to ask that?" Even drunk that was a crazy question.
"Because she doesn't want to be public with me. Most women would kill for that chance."
"Brian, Chicken Legs is not most women and definitely not like most of the "girls" you're talking about. She's been hurt by every man she has trusted, aside from family. One thing that you probably haven't realized is that every time she has been hurt, she blames it on herself. With Chloe's Dad it's because she got pregnant and they were too young to get married. With her second husband it was because she couldn't get him to stop drinking. With Jay, it's because she's older and not attractive enough. With every one of them it was how she somehow hurt them. She thinks keeping you guys a secret is protecting you, from your fans, the press and ultimately not being the one to keep you from meeting someone else. Someone younger that can make you happier. At least that's how she looks at it." He looked at me like I had just spoken another language.
"I still don't understand."
"Understand this, she loves you. I have never seen her this happy and I was there when she and Jay got together. Unless you are unhappy with the secrecy, I would just give her time."
"Okay Bianca, let's go get a beer!"

Brian's POV
I woke up Tuesday morning feeling a little rough from the Labor Day festivities. But even worse than any hangover was what was ahead of me.
I still needed to tell Penny about being apart for a month. We haven't been apart for more than 2 and a half weeks since we've started seeing each other. I decided to tell her once she woke up, I didn't want to wait until right before she left.
She was sleeping so peacefully, I knew she had drunk a lot yesterday too, so I didn't want to wake her up. I could really get used to waking up every morning next to her.
She woke up, opening her eyes slowly.
"Hi there, Blue Eyes."
She said sleepily, "Hi there, Haner."
"Hey Honey, I've have to talk to you about something."
"About when we are going to see each other again?" She said. I looked at her in disbelief. "We're connected, remember? It goes both ways."
"Damn, I love you!" I exclaimed.
"I love you too, stop trying to change the subject"
"You know how much I want to spend time with you, if I had it my way we would be together all the time."
"Get to the point, Junior." She already looked upset.
"It will probably be Mid-October before I will have more than one day free to be able to make it to Ohio." I saw the sadness in her eyes and I could tell she was holding back tears.
"Well, we know that there will be times like this." She said
"Are you okay, Babe?"
"Of course, I am fine." Then she rolled on top of me, kissing me wildly and pressing herself up against me. "I guess we'd better make the most of this morning!"

Bianca's POV
I could tell something was wrong as soon as the lovebirds came down for breakfast. I had made breakfast for us, it was the least I could do, since Brian paid for my little mini-vacay. It was quite a spread, I was pretty proud.
They were both so quiet, when I tried to start a conversation they barely spoke. I could tell they weren't mad, more like sad.
"Okay. What the hell is going on?" I asked.
Penny answered "Nothing, just sad because we're leaving today."
"Bull shit! It's more than that! Who's going to tell me what's really going on?"
"It's going to be 4-6 weeks before I can make it to Ohio again." Brian confessed.
"So you two are spending your last precious hours together pouting like two year olds?"
"What do you expect us to do?" Penny asked.
"I expect the two of you to be happy and enjoy your time together. I have watched you two this weekend. You have something special and real. Don't ruin it with Boo-Hoo's and feeling sorry for yourselves. I would give anything to be in love like you two. They looked at each other and Brian took her hand, “She’s right Penelope. You will always be my heart, whether right next to me or even across the world."
"You will always be mine, Junior."
That was my queue to leave, "I've had about as much mushy, sappy stuff as I can take right after breakfast. I'm heading up to pack. You two try not to lose track of time in the shower"
Penny's POV
The driver was there to get us and our luggage was in the car. Brian hugged Bianca and thanked her for coming. Then he turned to me, he grabbed me and held me so tight. "Remember, we are connected. We will talk on the phone as many times as we can every day and video chat. Wear your ring and always know I love you."
He wiped the tears gently from my face. "I will, I love you." We kissed for what seemed like a second but must have been a lot more. Bianca had the window down yelling "Will you too cut the lip lock and say goodbye already, we're going to miss the plane."
Brian walked me to the car and opened the door, he squeezed my hand and closed the door.
I watched behind me as we drove away and he just stood there and he was getting smaller and smaller.
"It'll be ok Chicken Legs." Bianca said
"I know."

Chloe's POV
Mom returned from California and buried herself in her work. She even went into the office most of the time. I think the house made her think of Brian. Bianca and I were charged to take care of Mom, Brian called both of us and asked us to keep her company. He said to have her use the Credit Card he gave her. "Go out shopping, out to eat, to movies. Whatever it takes to keep her happy." We both vowed to do our best. It wasn't really easy, but I think we did okay.

Brian's POV
The house was so empty after Penny left. Luckily, I was so busy that I wasn't there much. We would video chat every morning right before she went to work and at night, right before she went to bed. We would call each other all throughout the day and leave each other messages. Some silly and some serious.
Finally in Mid-October, I had 4 and a half days to get away to Ohio. I called Bianca and had her let their work know that Penny would be off on Thursday and Friday. Chloe picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at the house while Penny was at work. I prepared to surprise Penny when she got home. Bianca called me when Penny left work. I got ready for show time!

Penny's POV
I had asked Brian a couple of times if he would be visiting soon, he just kept saying "Soon," I was starting to get paranoid that he didn't want to come back. I was hoping Bianca would be up to going out, but she said she couldn't make it. I called Chloe to see if she wanted to go out to eat and she had too much studying to do. So I headed home, I unlocked the door and walked into the house. I laid my keys on the table next to the front door. All of the sudden, I heard an electric guitar solo coming from the family room. I went running to the room. There's only one person in the world that can play like that. I called out "Brian!" The guitar was even louder. I got to the door and stopped dead in my tracks. Standing there shredding it was Synyster Gates wearing nothing but a smile and a purple guitar!
I ran to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Now that's what I call entertainment!"
"Happy to see me?" He asked.
"Take that guitar off and I'll show you how happy I am."
We didn't make it out of that room for a couple of hours. Over the next three days, we made love in every room of the house multiple times.
While lying in the floor of the living room, I pointed out that we had run out of rooms.
"Maybe we need a bigger house." He said
"That would be great, but I can't even think about buying a bigger house right now. I have a wedding to pay for in June, remember?"
"Oh yeah, Chloe and Max's big day. Why don't you let me help you with it?" Brian offered
"We've discussed this, I am her mother and I am going to give her this. I raised her on my own, I will do this, on my own. I appreciate the offer, but I won't take your help."
Brian smiled at me "You are a proud woman, Penelope."
"Don't forget that, Junior."

Brian's POV
It was a great four days with Penny. I tried to get her to come to the annual Halloween Party with my friends. She said that it was too public. She had seen pictures from other years. I said that I would stay in Ohio with her, she didn't want to keep me from the party. There would also be questions why I wasn't there.
On November 5th it was officially announced that Brooks was our new drummer. That required that I stay in California for the next few weeks. One day, I got home and there were purple rose petals, that led out the doors to the gazebo. Standing there in the gazebo was my beautiful Penny, in a purple satin robe.
"I can't play guitar, so this will have to do."
"Oh, that does it, I assure you." I ran to her and kissed her like a mad man while I untied the robe and slid it off her shoulders. Soon, we were both undressed. She put her arms around my neck, I lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around my hips. I entered her and we both climaxed right there in the gazebo standing up.
We retreated upstairs for a shower and then went outside in robes sharing a lounge seat in front at the fire pit looking at the stars.
I just had one question. "This was a fantastic surprise, but how did you get here?"
"On a plane, silly."
"By yourself?"
"Some people are worth overcoming your fears for."
"You know there are other fears you can overcome for me" I suggested
"Don't push it, Haner"
"Someday Penz, you will see that we belong together. Totally together."
