I open my eyes, to the sunlight shining through the curtains. I smile knowing that today is a new day. Hopefully it will be way better than yesterday.

I realize, now, that I’m naked.

Dammit! I didn’t want to sleep with him!

Oh, boy. I really hope it was worth it. He’s so handsome, so sexy, so strong, so…

STOP IT!

I feel the bed moving, and I roll over to see his naked body lying next to me. He’s lying on his back, the sheets barely covering his lower body.

Maybe I could just sneak a little peak…

NO.

I’m admiring his sexy toned body, when I suddenly hear him chuckle. My eyes grow big, when I realize that he’s awake, now. He’s been watching me watch him. My eyes meet his, and he smiles wide, showing off those dimples, again. Does he even know the effect that has on women? He has to.

“Good morning.” He says, sounding a little groggy. Ugh. Why does he have to be so fucking sexy?

“Morning.” I say, in return. “I’m guessing that we… umm…” I clear my throat, not knowing how to ask.

“Yeah...” He answers, without me even finishing my sentence.

“Great.” I sound less than enthusiastic.

“Was it that bad?”

“I wouldn’t know, I can’t remember it.”

“Oh. Well, I don’t either.” He rubs his neck, seeming nervous, all of a sudden. “I… I really wasn’t trying to get in your pants, just so you know.”

“And I don’t normally do one-night stands, just so you know. I never meant for it to go this far.”
“I’m going to get dressed now.” He says, and I nod. He turns to the side of the bed, and leans down to get his clothes. All the while, I’m checking out his muscles, and all of his tattoos. I’m practically drooling over him, as he turns back to me. He smiles, knowing that he just caught me checking him out, again. “Bathroom?” He asks.

“Uhh… yeah. Down the hall to the left.” I turn away, so he can leave the room. Not that I didn’t see him naked last night. If only I could remember that!

I get out of the bed, and walk over to my dresser, opening the top drawer. I pull out a pair of black lace panties, and matching bra, and put them on. Of course, Matt chooses this moment to walk back in the room.

“Oh. I’m sorry. I was just going to… umm…” He stumbles over his words, as his eyes roam my body.

“I’ll be out in a second.”

“Okay. I’ll just wait out here.” He says, and closes the door.

I pull on some shorts and a tank, before heading out of the room. I lead the way to the front door, and open it for Matt.

“Well, since I don’t normally do this, I don’t really know what to say. So, uhh… thanks for coming over.” I smile, holding the door open.

“Thanks for having me?” Matt laughs. “Maybe we’ll see each other again?”

“Maybe.” I smile, not wanting to seem rude. I don’t know if I want to see him again. I mean, I do, obviously. Who wouldn’t want to look at his gorgeous face, and body? I just don’t know if I really want this to go anywhere. I don’t know if I’m even looking for a relationship right now. Especially not with some famous rock star. I just moved here, after all, I’m not even settled yet!

“Bye.” He says, turning, and walking away. I watch him for a little bit, until I realize that he’s already caught me checking him out twice, then I decide to close the door.

I immediately pick up my cell, and dial Alexa’s number.

“Lex, you’re not going to believe this.”

“Woah, you did what?!” Alexa says, almost spitting out her drink, as I explain to her what happened last night. “So you guys had sex, but you neither or you remember? How drunk were you last night?”

“I don’t know. I had a few drinks.”

“A few?!”

“Would you calm down, you’re going to draw attention.” Some of the restaurant guests are already looking at us weird. I think it’s because she emphasized the word sex, but I could be wrong.

“Oh. Who cares? You are bad, my friend. I’ve never even had a one night stand before.”
“I wasn’t planning on doing anything with him, it just happened.”

“Yeah, haven’t heard that one before.” She says, and I give her an evil look. “So you don’t remember how good the sex was?”

“How many times do I have to say that?”

“I just can’t believe it. I’ve never been drunk enough to forget sex. Then again, maybe it sucked, and you just don’t want to remember it.”

“I don’t think that’s it.”

“So are you going to see him again?”

“I don’t know.”

“Well, if you don’t, then it is considered a one night stand, I hate to say.”

“I know, but I don’t know if I’m ready for a relationship. We just moved here!”

“Oh, please. Lighten up, Lake. Jeesh, you’d think you didn’t get laid last night.” She scoffs. I slap her shoulder. “Ow.”

“I have plenty of sex I will have you know.”

“Is that right? Before Matt, when was the last time you had sex?”

“Well let’s see… there was Jason.”

“You guys broke up two months ago.”

“So!” She just shakes her head at me. “What?”

“I think this is the only time I will ever say this, because, you know, I’m so independent…”

“Ha!”

“But… I think you need a man, Lake.”

“I do not NEED a man.”

“Seriously, though, who else do you even have a relationship with besides me? Who else do you talk to?”

“We just moved here!”

“Yeah, but maybe Matt could help you get to know the place. He lives here, I’m guessing, he probably knows his way around. In more ways than one.” She smirks at me.

“You’re such a freak.”
