I Will Wait For You

"Alexa, it's been a month, I don't think he wants anything to do with me."

"I really just think he needs more time. He will come around, hon."

"I don't believe it."

"I do." She smiles at me.

"He's here."

"Huh?" She asks, and I point behind her. She turns around to look. "What are they doing here? They're not supposed to be back until next week!" She says, excitedly. She stands up, and walks over to meet Brian, who is walking this way, followed by the other guys. I guess I'll have to talk to Matt at some point in time, might as well be now.

"Hey, babe." He says, as they meet up. He envelopes her in a hug, and kisses her hair. "I missed you."

"I thought you weren't supposed to be back until next week." She says, as they pull away.

"The rest of the shows were cancelled, so we're home early." He smiles at her.

"Lakyn!" Jimmy yells, coming up to me, and giving me a bear hug.

"Jimmy!" I share his enthusiasm.

"Hey, Lakyn." Zach smiles at me. Johnny waves from next to him, and smiles, not saying anything. Of course Matt doesn't say anything to me, just slightly smiles, and looks away. Brian says hi, and takes Alexa away from the rest of us, excusing them.

"What have you been up to?" Jimmy asks. I notice Matt walking away, from behind Jimmy, but I pretend like this doesn't bother me.

"Not a whole lot." I smile. "How were your shows?"

"Amazing, as usual." You can tell Jimmy loves what he does.

"I'm glad you guys had fun."

"Well we did." He glances over at Matt. "I don't know about him, though."

"Oh." I say, simply, not knowing what else to say.

"I think he's upset about the way he ended things with you."

"He won't answer any of my calls or texts... he must not be that upset."

"I..." He starts to say, but I cut him off.

"I really don't want to talk about it, okay? I want to talk about happier subjects, can we do that?"

"Sure." He concedes. I'm glad.

"We're going to go home... I'll catch up with you guys later." Brian introduces himself back into the conversation.

"I'll call you later, Lake." Lex says, hugging me bye. She whispers to me as she leans in, "Talk to him."

"No." I whisper back. She pulls away, and her and Brian leave me alone with Jimmy, Johnny, and Zach. Matt has disappeared, of course, no where to be found.

"So, who wants to get a drink?" Zach asks, once they've left.

"Umm... I don't really..." I start to speak.

"Nope." Jimmy holds up a finger to my lips. "I won't hear any excuses." Little does anyone know, I'm barely surviving right now, as it is. I lost my job two weeks ago, Janice fired me. I haven't even told Alexa yet. I'm using what little money I have in my savings to get by, and that's just barely cutting it. I don't have the extra funds to spend a night out on the town, these days.

"I..."

"No excuses. I'm buying." As much as I hate for anyone to spend money on me, I don't want to decline his offer.

So I don't. "Okay, I'm in."

"That's more like it!" He laughs, and wraps a long arm around my shoulders. "Now let's get out of this damned mall, and get to a bar, pronto!" He leads me out of the mall, as Johnny and Zach follow behind us. "Where's your car?" Jimmy asks, as we get outside.

"Oh." I say, realizing Alexa had driven me here. She left me without a car. How nice of her. Thank God someone was here to take me back home. I still don't entirely know my way around this place. "At my house. Alexa drove me here."

"Well, I'm glad we could be of some assistance. Doesn't look like you would've been going home, even if you wanted to." Jimmy laughs.

"How did you guys know we were at the mall, anyway?"

"Brian knew. Alexa told him yesterday that she was going shopping with you today, at the mall. We just took separate cars, knowing that we'd probably split up, after leaving here."

"Oh. That makes sense."

"In you go." Jimmy opens the passenger door, and ushers me in.

"Who says the girl gets to ride with you?" Zach asks.

"Uhh... I'm paying. She agreed to go out, because of me."

"Ha. Okay. We'll meet you at the club." Zach says, as he and Johnny walk away.

"Do they know where we're going?"

"Oh yeah." Jimmy smiles and starts up the car.

Two hours later, it's only seven o' clock, but I'm way past gone.

This club is amazing. I'm glad I came tonight.

"Are you having fun?" Zach asks, as he joins me, on the dance floor.

"Of course!" I smile brightly at him. I can tell he's been drinking, too, I can smell the alcohol radiating off of him.

"Good! Me too!" He smiles, in return.

"Where are the guys?" I ask him.

"Johnny went home already. Jimmy is in the VIP section, with some girls."

"Johnny went home? What girls?"

"Who knows... Yeah, he said something about being tired." He laughs, as if he's told a joke.

"What a party-pooper." I laugh with him.

"I'm glad you came out with us tonight, Lakyn." He looks at me, and he's serious for a second, but the smile soon make it's way across his face again, and he's back to playful Zach, drunk Zach.

"I'm glad I did, too."

"Hey, guys!" Jimmy yells at us, making his way through the crowd toward us. "I'm going to take Lisa here home."

"Liz." The girl on his arm corrects him.

"That's what I said." He stammers. "As I was saying... We're leaving. You gonna be okay getting home?" He asks us.

"I'll make sure we get home safely." Zach says.

"Good. See you later, Lakyn." He says, hugging me. "See ya later, man." He claps Zach on the shoulder, and turns to leave.

"Have fun!" Zach yells after them. He turns to me, once they're gone. "Do you want to go to the VIP section?"

"I didn't even know there was one of those here, until you mentioned it. That sounds like fun, though." I agree.

"Yeah. It's not for everyone, but the owner knows us. He's a huge fan, so he lets us use the upstairs when we come here."

"That's awesome." I say, as he leads us upstairs.

We get to the foot of the stairs, and I can see why he wanted to bring me up here. The atmosphere is really cool. There's several couches along the wall, and some tables and chairs scattered around for sitting. There's a small stage in the front corner of the room, with a music system set up, that's playing some sort of rap song right now. Jimmy was just up here listening to rap music? I laugh to myself as I think about that a little bit.

"Something funny?" Zach asks, sitting down on one of the couches. I take a seat next to him, leaving a little bit of space for precautionary measures, of course.

"I was just thinking about Jimmy listening to rap music up here. I just never really pictured him as a huge rap fan."

"He'll listen to whatever, when a girl's involved." Zach laughs, and gets up to change the song. I take a moment to take in the little bar area, filled with drinks, and the separate area in the back, surrounded by curtains.

"What's back there?" I ask, curious.

"Bed. Some extra seating. Just a private area in case you need your space, while you're here, I guess."

"Oh. A bed?" I ask, suddenly nervous.

"Yeah. Never used it myself, of course. The bathrooms are back there, too..."

"Oh." I suddenly realize how much I have to pee. Courtesy of all of the alcohol I've had tonight. "I'll be right back." I say, excusing myself, and making my way through the curtains, to the bathroom.

I hurriedly use the bathroom, and go back out to the main area to meet Zach. It's sort of creepy being back in this secluded area by myself...

"Ooh. I like this song." I say, as I walk back into the room, hearing Snoop's "Sensual Seduction" coming through the speakers. I sway my hips to the beat.

"Oh. I'll leave it here." Zach says, stepping away from the computer controlling the music. He walks over to the bar and makes two drinks, before bringing them over to where I'm dancing on the floor. "One for you." He hands one to me.

"Thanks." I smile, and take a big swig. It burns going down, but I'm okay with that right now. I quickly down the rest of it, not really caring about the taste, and set my cup on the nearest table, before going back to dancing.

"I really don't know why he doesn't have any other CD's to play up here, at the moment." Zach rolls his eyes, as the next song plays, Keith Sweat's "Twisted."

I laugh. "I don't mind this song, either." Though, the lyrics are making me think of Matt.

"You look sad all of a sudden, everything okay?"

"I'm fine." I feign a smile.

"Need another drink?"

"I wouldn't mind one." I smile. We walk over to the bar, and I watch him, as he makes up another drink for me. "Has Matt mentioned anything to you about what happened?" I ask him, not able to get Matt off my mind.

"He told us what happened." He says, finishing my drink, and handing it to me.

"Oh."

"He had a really bad experience, I think that's why he doesn't want you to get too close to him. He's afraid you will hurt him, if he lets you in. The last girlfriend he had was over a year ago. She cheated on him, after five years of being together, a week before he was planning on popping the big question."

"Shit." I say, not knowing how to react. My heart aches for him. I feel so bad.

"I shouldn't have said anything, but I think you deserve to know why he acted the way he did."

"Thanks for telling me, Zach."

"You're welcome. You better hurry up a drink that before it gets warm. Warm alcohol never tastes good." He laughs, downing his drink, and making himself another.

Two more drinks, and now we are both dancing on the dance floor, again.

His hands are on my hips, as he stands behind me.

I'm grinding into him, as the music plays.

He spins me around, and his hands find my hips again, as we sway to the music, now facing each other.

The room is spinning, as he lean in and kisses me. It catches me off guard, at first, and I can't help but to pull away.

"Sorry." He says, starting to pull away, but I catch him before he can. I bring him back to me, and kiss him again.

I don't know why I'm doing this. I like Matt, I really do. I just can't help myself right now. Zach looks so good, and he's right here, in front of me.

The kiss intensifies, and before I know it, he's walking, and I'm walking backward, toward the curtain-enclosed room, all the way to the bed. He proceeds to lay me down on it, and stands up to take his shirt off.

"I don't kn..." I start to say, but I'm cut off by his kiss, as he leans back down, over top of me.

His hands find their way up under my shirt, and he pulls it off, as I lean up, helping him get it over my head. I lay back down, and he starts a trail of kisses from my mouth, down my neck, and down to my bra line.

He reaches under me, and undoes the clasp. Grabbing the straps, he swiftly removes them from around my shoulders, and rids me of my bra completely. He stops to take each of my nipples into his mouth, before continuing down to my shorts.

He rids me of those, as well, in no time, and my panties follow soon after. He works on undoing his pants, and freeing himself.

He strokes himself, as I watch him intently, unable to take my eyes from him.

"I want you so bad right now." He growls under his breath, and gets back on top of me, sliding into me, with ease, in the process.

I take in a sharp breath, as he fills me, and moan loudly.

"Oh, baby." He moans into my ear, as he picks up the pace, moving in and out of me.

He pulls out, suddenly, long enough to flip me over onto my stomach. He slides back in, and grabs my hips. He slams into me, and I cry out in pleasure.

The room is spinning even faster, as I come.

He comes soon after, and we collapse on the bed, next to each other.

"Holy fuck, you're amazing." He breathes in my ear, as the room finally stops spinning.

My eyes close, and I let the darkness take me in.
