Call Me Crazy.

The News.

The show was just like you would have expected. Amazing. The guys did wonderful, hit every note and key correctly. There was the occasional crazed fan that tried to get up on the stage, but with security there, they didn't get very far. I stayed nestled into Jimmy side for most othe show, hearing him sing some of the songs to himself, or having him flail around when Brian did a solo.

Now here we all sat, back in the dressing room, the guys laughing back and forth, throwing bras at each other. Really, women? You're gonna throw a perfectly good bra at rockstars? What on earth are they gonna do with them? Certainly not wear there.

"So Meadow." Matt started, leaning back in his seat, beer in his hand. "How'd you like that show?" He asked, taking a sip of his beer.
I smooth my hair back behind my ear, bobbing my head from side to side, "It was..fucking awesome. Is there really anything else I can say about it?" I asked, smiling sheepishly at him. He nodded his head, cracking a smile. "That's what I like to hear." He chuckled. I blushed a little bit, taking a hold of Jimmys hand then. He looked at me, nodding his head. "Um, Matt, Brian. Do you guys think I could..Talk to you for a few moments?" I asked, feeling myself tremble inwardly. I was nervous as fuck to be saying this to them. I didn't know what was going to happen.

"Yeah, let's go in the other room." Brian said, getting up from his seat, as did Matt. "Be right back guys." He stated, leading the way out of the dressing room. I pulled Jimmy behind me, keeping him close. Brian lead us into a different room down the hallway, switching the lights on. I took a seat on one of the chairs, Jimmy sitting right beside me. "You can do this Meads." He whispered into my ear. I watched as Brian and Matt took a seat in front of me, each looking at me to start talking.

"Ah..well.." I breathed out, running my fingers through my hair, chewing my lip rings hard. "Where do I even start?" I whispered, looking down at my feet.
"Start at the beginning would be cool." Brian piped up, giving me a wide grin.
I wanted to smile then, I really did, but I could summon enough courage in me to do so. "Guys, this is going to sound weird and...a little out there. But ever since I was a teenager, I was able to..to see the dead. Spirits as they like to put it. People that need my help to pass on to the afterlife. To let their families know that they're alright, to give them that closure." I said, my breath catching in my throat. Brian looked at me, confused, as did Matt. "What does that have to do with us?" Matt asked, his brows coming together in a straight line, almost daring me to piss him off. I felt my eyes water, "Guys...I've...I've been seeing Jimmy." I said, looking down at my hands. Brian shook his head, his face twisted in anger. "This is a sick joke, Meadow. And what's worse is that you're doing it in front of your friend here." He said, jutting his chin towards 'Frankie.' Jimmy shook his head, clearing his throat. "Bri, she's not joking." He said, leaning forward, resting his forearms on his knees. "Listen to her." He said, looking at both men as they clenched their jaws. I looked up then, watching as both of their facial expressions started to relax. I looked over to Jimmy furrowing my brows. "They can see me now, Meadow." He whispered, smiling softly as Brian and Matt stared at him in pure disbelief. "How..How are you.." Matt croaked out, tears welling up in his eyes. "You..you're here..she's.." Brian shook his head, letting out a huff of air as he leaned foward, pulling Jimmy to him. "Oh my god.." He sobbed into Jimmy's shoulder, holding onto him tightly. Matt looked at the both of them, then to me. "I don't...I.." He couldn't fully grasp what was actually going on at the moment. I felt a few tears well up in my eyes as well, sniffling softly as the three reunited.

"I have her to thank you know." Jimmy said, standing up once Brian let him go, which was short lived once Matt jumped up to pull his brother into a tight hug. "We have her thank too." Matt murmured, holding onto Jimmy for dear life. "Why are you here, Jim?" Brian asked, sniffling softly. Jimmy pulled away from Matt just slightly, "I've been watching you guys for a while now. I couldn't stand to see you guys in such...pain. I had to come back to tell you guys that I'm okay." Jimmy said, shrugging his shoulders. "I'm sorry you never got a chance to see me." He whispered, hanging his head. The three engulfed each other into a hug. I got up from my seat, crossing my arms over my chest as I watched them. This would be the moment where Jimmy would fade away, but nothing seemed to happen.

"I need to talk to short shit and Zacky." Jimmy said, pulling away from the large man hug, sniffling as he wiped tears from his eyes. Brian nodded his head, taking the chance to leave the room. He didn't say a word to me as he did so, neither did Matt or Jimmy. I sighed softly. This was his time, not mine. I inched towards the door, watching as the two laughed with each other. I stepped out of the door, sighing heavily as I hugged my arms around myself, walking down the hallway. I could hear the guys walking out of the dressing room, all talking loudly as the raced to the other room.

In a way, I felt relieved that the guys had their closure, that Jimmy got a second chance with them. But deep down, I was jealous. Everyone had their second chances. Where was mine? Where was my mother? Sure she gave a message to Jimmy, but that wasn't enough for me. What about Jacob? Why couldn't he come to me? My best friend. Gone. And here I was helping someone else with their best friends. I sniffled softly as I made my way outside, the venue completely deserted, except for the tour busses and what not. I made my way to my car, feeling tears prick my eyes as I hopped into my car. I buckled my seat belt, starting the engine up before pulling out of the parking spot I had chosen hours earlier. Jimmy would have his time with the guys, then like every other spirit would, he'd fade away. I wasn't about to be there when it happened. It sounds harsh and uncaring I know, but the truth was, I fell in love with the man, the legend. And I couldn't handle to watch another person I loved slip away from me again.
