Call Me Crazy.

It's A Sickness.

I will tell you this now; the bathroom floor is not all that comfortable. My head was lulled to the side as I tried to catch my breath for the fifth time that day. The guys must have been worried because it was either Jimmy, Tim, or Kevin walking in to check up on me. Mostly Jimmy, the poor thing. Mostly he was bouncing around, making jokes, but as soon as he saw me head to the bathroom in a rush, that fun loving attitude was in the back of his mind.

I stumbled out of the bathroom, clutching my stomach as I tried to make my wobbling legs carry me to the front desk of the shop, "I'm dying.." I whined as I plopped down.
"That's the fifth time, I would say so.." Kevin said as he worked the books for me while filling in customers at the same time.
"Thanks for the help, Kev.." I murmured, leaning my head back with my eyes closed.
"No problem, boss. We got it here. Chad and Vlad are pretty much the fucking bouncers of the place." He laughed as he ruffled my hair.
I laughed slightly, leaning forward when I saw Matt and Brian walk in, "Hey guys, what are you doing here?" I asked.
Kevin and the others were still getting used to them waltzing in on a regular basis. It was like watching children in a candy store, only they contained their overly large sugar highs.
"Jim-Your man called us. He wanted someone to check up on you in case these guys were busy with their clients. How you feeling, short round?" Matt asked as he came up beside me.
"Short round? I may be short, but I'm not Asian and I don't run around the world with Indianna Jones." I said as I rolled my eyes at his little comment, "But I'm fine, really."
"Fine? Dude, she's been throwing up since eight this morning. She probably needs to go home and call it a day." Kevin said as he kept his eyes on the paper work in front of him.
Brian gave me a knowing look, raising his eyebrows at me, "Come on, Rosey."
"But I don't wanna go hoooome." I whined as Matt hoisted me up out of my chair.

That didn't seem to work as they grabbed my things and proceeded to give Kevin 'the rules' while they pulled me out of the shop.
"Bri, why don't you take her car and meet up with us at her place." Matt said, holding me to his side as we walked to his car.
"Yeah, let me make a pit stop at the drug store and get this kid some cold pills or something." Brian said as he fisted my keys in his hand.
"You know I'm right here right?" I interjected as they carried on talking about filling me up with drugs and liquids.
"Hush now, we're going to help you get better." Matt said, opening the passenger side door for me. He didn't even wait for me to get it, he just pushed me in. The big oaf.

The short distance to my house was very uncomfortable to say the least. My stomach was rolling like a thunderstorm in a desert. As soon as we pulled into the drive way, it was like a flash of light. I was out of the car and into the house in a matter of seconds, emptying the contents of my stomach, or the lack there of, into the toilet upstairs. I could feel Jimmy by my side, holding back my hair as I continued to retch into the porcelain bowl.
"I think you need to go to the hospital, Meadow." He said once I pulled away from the toilet, rubbing my back gently.
"Brian said he'd get me medicine. I'll be fine." I murmured, trying to get rid of the taste in my mouth.
"Well, how about this? You'll take some medicine he gets and if that doesn't work, we go to the hospital. Deal?" He said, holding my face in his hands. I just nodded my head, pushing away from the toilet once I flushed it. He helped me up to my feet, helping me to the bedroom so I could lie down. "You want some soup?" He asked as he took my shoes off for me.
"Uhm, how about some tomato?" I asked, giving him a look that resembled a sick childs.
He chuckled lightly, helping me out of my work clothes and into one of his oversized shirts, "Kay, I'll make some soup. While I'm doing that, you try and get some rest, kay?" He asked as he tucked the covers around me.
I just nodded my head as I put my body pillow to my stomach, trying to get comfortable as least. This stomach bug was going to be the death of me, I swear. Not even ten minutes later, Brian was in mine and Jimmy's room with a packet of cold medicine and water, urging me to take two and then go back to my resting. Once I took the pills, he left without another word, closing the door after him.

I don't know how long I slept, but once I woke up, the rolling started. I bolted out of bed and into the bathroom. I must have caused a ruccus becuase Jimmy was by my side yet again, holding back my hair like usual. "Okay, we're going to the hospital, miss." He said sternly, helping me get to my feet again after I finished.
I knew I couldn't argue with him seeing as he already had me in a pair of sweats and hoodie and proceeded to walk me to the living room. Brian was sitting on the couch and Matt was in the kitchen fixing what I assumed was my tomato soup. "Hospital, Jim?" Brian asked, as he stood up and grabbed my keys.
"Yup." Jimmy said, pulling on a hoodie himself.
"I'll be here. Not like anyone cares." Matt called from the kitchen.
"I care.." I said loud enough for him to hear me.
I heard him laugh out loud at my little comment, making me smile a little.
"Come on, babe." Jimmy said, tucking me to his side as he directed me out of the house. Once we all piled into the car, Brian in the drivers seat and Jimmy and I in the back, we headed towards the hospital.

We walked into the ER, which seemed funny to me considering it was just a little stomach bug, but Jimmy was having none of it. He helped me fill out some forms and held my hand as we waited for the doctor. The bed the nurses had me in was hard and scratchy. I didn't like it. Not one bit.
"Ms. Keyser?" I looked up to see a nurse walking in with a little basket of needles and other items used to draw blood.
"Uh, what's that for?" I asked, raising my brows at the woman as she proceeded to pull on rubber gloves.
"I'm here to draw some blood. It's mandatory procedure." She said kindly as she pulled up a stool beside my bed, "Alright, now it's only going to pinch a little, but if it scares you in any way, you can hold onto your boyfriends hand. You won't mind that will you?" She asked, looking up at Jimmy.
"Anything to help her." He said, holding onto my other hand.
I smiled softly as the nurse wrapped a rubber band around my bicep, instrusting me to clench and unclench my fist so my veins would pop out. I squeezed my eyes shut, as well as squeezed Jimmy's hand as she stuck the needle into my arm.
"Alright, all done. The doctor will be in after this has been in the lab." The nurse said. I opened my eyes to see a small vile of my blood in her hand after she wrapped my arm up with gauze and hot pink tape. I sat there, wondering how the hell she managed to get all that by me without me knowing.
"I wonder what's wrong with me.." I muttered. Jimmy looked at me, giving my hand a squeeze.
"Let's just hope it something that can be taken care of quickly." He said, kissing the side of my head.

It seemed like we were in the fucking room for hours until the doctor decided to show up. He was balding, had the whitest beard I've ever seen on a man, and had a very warming look to him. "You must be Meadow." He said cheerfully as he sat beside my bed.
"What's wrong with me?" I asked, looking over at him as I held Jimmy's hand tighter.
"Well, there's nothing wrong with you. Throwing up constantly is just one of the symptoms for pregnant women." He said, pulling out his stethascope.
Everything came to a crashing halt around me. Did he just say-
"I'm sorry, did you just say 'pregnant?" I asked, sitting up quickly.
He looked at me, pulling the little ear buds from his ears, furrowing his brows, "You mean, you didn't know?" He asked.
Both Jimmy and I shook our heads quickly.
"You're about six weeks pregnant, Meadow. I assumed you knew." He said, raising his brows.
He listened to my heart beat, my breathing, took my blood pressure, and gave me instructions to a healthy diet since I was eating for two now. I walked out of the room, Jimmy by my side as we walked out of the ER after signing the release form in order for me to leave. Brian was standing in the lobby, a cup of coffee in his hand, "So what's the news, kids?" He asked, a smile on his face.
Jimmy looked up, his eyes large as he walked out of the ER, "Meadow..she's..she's.."
"Jimmy?" Brian asked caustiously as he held his hand out to make sure Jimmy didn't fall.
"I'm pregnant.." I blurted out.
