It's been a few weeks since I got to Huntington Beach. I've moved in with Shana and gotten settled in at my new job at the music store.
"Hey halen can you go straighten up the vinyls and then go ahead and take your break" my manager shouted from across the store.
"sure thing Ben, I'm all over it" after I got finished straightening up I headed out back and lit up a smoke. I pulled out my phone to see if I had gotten any love and sure enough I did. "Damn shana!!!" I coughed out choking on cigarette smoke. I had 47 missed calls from that girl. I waisted no time calling her.
"OH MY GOD HALEN!!!!!! I have been trying to get ahold of you all day girl!" I had to ya I the phone away from my ear as she screamed out in one breath.
"Sorry it's been busy here I haven't been able to check my phone till now, is everything ok?" I didn't know what was going on but she had me a little freaked out.
"sorry girl i just couldn't wait to give you the best news ever. You and me little lady are going to an avenged sevenfold concert tomorrow night!!!! I scored pit tickets!" She squealed. I guess I knew that eventually living in their home town that at some point I would get to see them but that didn't stop me from being in shock at the moment.
"halen are you there?"she giggled.
" ya ya sorry. Shana you just made my life!!!!! I've wanted to see them live forever!!!" I stood up and stomped out my cigarette and started pacing around, trying to keep myself from jumping up and down like a 3 year old on a sugar high.
" well little lady we are going to have a fucking blast! See ya when you get home" she said.
i said goodbye and headed back into work. The rest of the work day flew by I was so excited nothing could wipe the smile from my face. By the time I got home shana was already in bed so I took a quick shower and settled in myself for the night.


I wake up the next morning to the sight I shana leaned up against my door way with a huge grin plastered on her face. She walked over and sat on the edge of bed and handed me a much needed cup of coffee. "Mornin sunshine" she beamed. " so come on let's get ready so we can go see our sexy men!!!" " you don't have to tell me twice" I said. I hopped out of her and headed to the shower. I decided to wear some distressed jean shorts and a white tank top and some teal vans and threw my hair up in a high pony tail. Once we were both ready we headed over to the concert venue. Once we got inside we headed over to grab a drink. "The first person to bring me 55 cents exact change will win entry to the avenged sevenfold meet and greet" we hear coming from a guy guy to our left yelling into a megaphone. Without hesitation I whip the change out if my pocket and start sprinting over to the guy. Luckily for me in this day and age I'm one of the few that still uses cash. Which gave me a definite advantage since I'm nowhere near known for my speed. I made it to the guy first and happily claimed 2 passes to the meet and great. I skipped back over to shana and we went to go get in line to meet our boys. I was way beyond nervous. I never thought I would get the chance to meet them even tho it would just be a quick hi and bye as we passed by the table I still couldn't believe it. As we waited we chatted with the other fans around us, but as we got closer I freaked out more. I mean you never know how it's going to go. I was now able to see them sitting at the table now and ya I felt like I was going to have a panic attack for sure. " you ready baby!!! There they are!!" Shana whispered while shaking my shoulders. I grabbed her arm and pulled her infront of me. She turned and looked at me with a puzzled look on her face. " halen just breathe" she chuckled.i closed my eyes and tried to just take a deep breath and calm my nerves so I didn't make a fool out of myself. I felt her hand around my arm yanking me towards her. I snapped my eyes open to realize we were right at the table and the fact that no other than M Shadows was smiling right at me with his dimples making my heart skip a beat. I went to talk but nothing came out. " oh my god! Oh my god! Get It together halen, this is your chance to talk to them!!!" I scolded myself in my head. But nope that didn't do it I couldn't speak all I could do is smile and blush. Synyster was the last one I stepped infront of him and he just smiled at me with his beautiful brown eyes and I thought I was going to die right there. I started to feel really light headed and next thing I knew everything went black.
