A Little Piece of Heaven

A genuine smile spread onto my face as we pulled onto the road of my mom’s house which from now on would be my permanent home, my smile widened when the house came into view.

I had missed this place so much, because I lived with my sperm donor of a father I didn’t get to spend that much time here with my actual family.

Before the car had even rolled to a stop I was flying out of it and into the arms of my twin. We collided and both fell to the ground holding each other

He pulled back grinning at me before wiping a tear away

“I missed you Jess” I gripped his shirt tighter not wanting to let go of him just yet

“I missed you too Jimmy” He looked over my shoulder and his smile faded slightly

Following his line of eyesight we both watched the car that had dropped me off retreat, I heard Jimmy growl from next to me

“The bastard didn’t even have the decency to say hi or bye” I laughed at him and threw myself on him again catching him off guard and making us both tumble backwards on the floor

“But he did have the decency to not bother us and fuck off” Jimmy grinned at me in response before pulling me up and dragging me inside to be met with the kind faces of my mom and step-dad

Stepping towards me they both squashed me in a huge hug and I knew I was finally home, they both stepped back my mom keeping her hands on my shoulders

“We let Jimmy decorate your room although I have no doubt you will like it, your bags are already up there. Go make yourself comfy while I go get dinner started” My chuckle followed her as she pranced of to the kitchen.

“I missed you bee” I engulfed my step-dad in a hug, although not blood related this man was my father and did a hell of a better job at raising me than my sperm donor did

“I missed you too Daddy”

“Yeah, yeah we all miss each other now come with me” I didn’t have chance to do anything else as I was being dragged up the stairs by my over excited twin

He pulled me into my room and span around to face me with a proud smirk on his face

“You like?” he asked gesturing to the room, I took in the plain black walls covered in posters of my favourite bands and movies, the room itself was quite basic having a dark grey carpet it also had a black desk with a computer on top, a chest of draws, a walk in wardrobe and a flat screen TV on the wall across from a king sized bed.

I threw myself into Jimmy’s arms having him catch me as a gripped him tight in a huge bear hug

“I love it” He swang me round and threw me on my bed

“I knew you would. Now let’s get you unpacked” He announced as he pulled both my suitcases out and began throwing clothes everywhere.

I left him to it as I laid on my bed, I let my hand trace my bedding it was plain black with little Jack Skellingtons dotted everywhere on it, I slightly turned my head to watch Jimmy unpacking my belongings although I knew I would have to rearrange everything later.

At some point in time I must have fallen asleep cause the next thing I know I’m being shook awake by Jimmy, who’d come to let me know dinner was done. I dragged myself from my bed and followed him downstairs to the kitchen joining everyone at the table.

Finishing my dinner I helped my mom clean the plates before wishing everyone a good night. I made my way to my room and rummaged through my drawers, I ended up changing into some plain black Pyjama bottoms and an old Simple plan band t before climbing into bed and falling straight to sleep feeling the happiest I had in a while.
Waking up the next morning, I went to get dressed and couldn’t find my favourite nightmare before Christmas top. Knowing Jimmy would have been the last one to actually see it I groggily made my way across the hall to his room whilst rubbing the sleep out of my crystal blue eyes, not unlike my twins.

As I was reaching for the door I heard a group of male laughter floating up from downstairs and decided that was probably my brother and his friends so I changed my course and made my way towards the living room. I stood in the doorway for a moment with none of them noticing me before finally making my presence known

“Jimmy, where did you put…” I trailed off frowning at the guys all staring at me with their mouths hanging open

“What? Do I have something on my face?” I asked snapping them all out of it but noticed them still sneaking looks out of the corner of their eyes

“Jimmy nice going man, why didn’t you tell us you scored last night!” Brian exclaimed earning a scowl from Jimmy and a raised eyebrow from the girl in the door way, who I had to admit was smoking hot

“Do you guy’s really not know who she is?” We all looked at each other confused

“Should we?” I asked

“Zack, dude. That’s my sister!”

“Wait, What?!” Brian nearly shouted voicing everyone’s shock

We all took a closer look at the girl in the doorway, last time any of us had seen Jessie she had been about thirteen and chubby as hell but obviously time had been good to her she had become a little vixen.

“Hey guys” The girl in the doorway said raising her hand for a little wave before dropping her hand and turning her gaze on Jimmy

“Now back to business beanstalk. Where the hell have you put my favourite shirt?” He smirked at her

“What will you give your favourite brother for it?” He asked grinning, she widened her eyes in mock shock

She placed her hand over her heart “Wait, what?! We have another brother, why the hell was I not informed of this?!” Jimmy rolled his eyes at the smaller Sullivan twin

“Ha-ha, you obviously don’t want your shirt back that much then” this earned a glare it was clearly playful but it had a mischievous glint to it, Jimmy gasped catching something we didn’t

“You wouldn’t”

“Just try me” I have never in all my time of knowing Jimmy seen him back down from anything but he backed down from his twin. Witnessing this moment was like seeing your dad cry.

Jimmy swore under his breath before telling her where her shirt was. As she left the room we all stared at him like he had grown two heads.

“What?” He asked

“Dude why didn’t you tell us you’re sister got hot” Brian asked his eye’s flickering to the doorway

“Because Brian, she’s my sister” said Jimmy turning serious “And before we go any further on the subject if anyone of you tries anything with her, I will castrate you with a rusty spoon and im not fucking joking” we all nodded not even questioning that he wouldn’t do it

He jumped up clapping his hands “Right, good” he said going straight back into his usual hyper self like a flip had been switched, Its creepy how he can switch moods like that. He then skipped out of the room coming back in less than a few seconds later with Jessie over his shoulder, who had now changed clothes and brushed her hair through. He skipped up to the front door and yanked it open as she motioned for us to follow.

The guy’s followed us out of the house while I was still over my brother’s shoulder he walked up to a black SUV and stood by it patiently while Matt came around and unlocked it. Jimmy dropped me to my feet and everyone fought for the passenger’s seat except Matt who was in the driver’s seat and me and Johnny, I nudged him to get his attention.

“How come you’re not attempting to get in the front like them?” But before he could answer. Brian, who was now sat in the passenger’s seat did it for him.

“Because he’s too short to be aloud to ride in the front, aren’t you short shit?” He mumbled something under his breath while the other’s taunted him, I frowned at them.

I put my hands on my hips “Hey he’s not that short, he’s taller than me” They just laughed at me for trying to stand up for him.

“That just means you’re a short shit too” I shrugged my shoulder’s

“I can live with that” Everyone chuckled while Johnny and Zacky got in the car leaving me and Jimmy outside it

“Jessie, there’s only one seat so your going to have to sit on my lap” I nodded and waited while he got in the car before climbing in and sitting on his lap,

Before the car was started I noticed the guy’s still sneaking looks at me and internally smirked to myself. Having already formed a plan I turned around so I could look at my brother.

“Actually Jimmy. I don’t want to sit in your lap I want to sit in someone else’s” Brian and Zacky’s faces got hopeful even Matt’s did then he seemed to realise he was the one driving. The only one that didn’t get hopeful was Johnny.

So he was surprised when I crawled over Zacky and sat in his lap as were the rest of the guys. Brian looked at Johnny’s smirking face and protested

“Why’s short shit get to be the one to get a girl on his lap?!” he asked sneaking a look at Jimmy I Smiled and wrapped my arms around Johnny’s neck bringing him closer

“Because dear Brian, we are short shits and us short shit’s have to stick together” Johnny smirked at him as he wrapped his arm’s around my waist pulling me closer to him, we both laughed at his disbelieving expression as he turned back around to sulk.

I shuffled so I could face Johnny a bit better while still having my arms around his neck, which he didn’t seem to be protesting to

“Do you know something, Johnny?”

“No, what Jessie?” he said smiling at me

“I think we should start a short shit’s club!” He smiled and nodded

“Yeah, we should get hoodies and everything” I grinned at him

“Fuck yeah! We should make up a secret handshake as well, it will be awesome”

We both laughed and spent the rest of the car ride trying to come up with a handshake, which in the end consisted a palm slap then a backhand slap, then a fist bump. When we got to the mall Matt swang the car into a space and shut of the engine before everyone piled out, I immediately went to Johnny’s side and linked arms with him which cause us both to laugh when he got glared at.

As we walked inside the mall I immediately dragged Johnny off leaving the guy’s stood behind us with frowns on their faces while we went to go and find some place we could have our hoodies made. Johnny turned to me smiling

“Thanks for that back there, it can be really annoying when they get like that” I shook my head and pulled him in for a hug

“it was nothing, besides us short shits have to stick together”

We carried on walking in a comfortable silence and soon we were walking towards the food court having already been and ordered our hoodies as well as visiting a few other stores, after getting kicked out of the last one I decide we were too lazy to go and find the others and that’s how we ended up in the food court

I chuckled when Johnny’s mouth dropped open when I ordered two big Mac meals and a Mac flurry for myself. While Johnny was halfway through his food and I was on my second big Mac a very hyper Jimmy caught our attention, he was skipping through the groups of people with Zacky over his shoulder singing im a Barbie girl over and over at the top of his voice while Matt and Brian ran behind him laughing their asses off while a disturbed looking Zacky attempted to escape his grasp.

He noticed us and made his way over with Zacky still on his shoulder and finally put him down when they got to us, the others finally caught up to him and Matt turned to him still laughing

“What the hell, Jimmy, you could have got us kicked out!” He shrugged not caring

I shook my head at him “Jimmy you need to learn to behave, getting us kicked out would be disgraceful” Matt, Brian and Zacky looked at me like I had just became a prude while Johnny looked at me in disbelief

“What the? But Jessie you just…” I cut him off by leaning over the table and placing my finger over his lips

“Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, child nobody needs to know” The guys looked at him questioningly, until Brian walked around and stood behind him placing his hands on Johnny’s shoulders

“Spill it short shit” He gulped then rushed out

“Jessiegotuskickedoutofa99centsstore” I laughed when Jimmy jumped into my arms and hugged me while exclaiming proudly

“Oh Jessie my baby sister I’m so proud of you” I grinned at the guys when they shook their heads trying not to crack smiles.
