Missing In Action

“Listen,Elliot is missing and has been for the last two fucking weeks!” Matt shouted at Jimmy.

“You think I have something to do with it?” Jimmy asked in disbelieve.

“I don't know,” Matt said while looking away.

Jimmy sighed and patted Matt on the shoulder.

“We'll find her, don't worry. Plus Elliot is always a tough girl, no matter what.”

Matt just nodded his head.

A knock came from the door and Matt looked at Jimmy.

“Can you get it? I'm going to bed.”

Jimmy nodded his head and sighed again as his best friend walked upstairs. Jimmy opened the door and found Hannah and Arin.

“Matt's just gone to bed,” Jimmy said as he let the two teens in.

“That okay, we just need one of you.” Hannah said as she walked to the living room.

“The guys are all out putting posters up around the area.” Jimmy said as he sat down.

Arin and Hannah nodded their heads and looked at Jimmy.

“We found something of hers the other day, it was at Central Park,” Arin said.

“What was it?” Jimmy asked.

“Your jacket, it's in my bag. We know it's yours because of the label inside and it smells like Elliot.” Hannah said as she got out the black hoodie what Jimmy gave her for Christmas.
Jimmy grabbed the jacket and looked at the label, 'Elliot Amanda Sanders loves James Owen Sullivan'.

“She wrote that in?” Jimmy asked.

“Yeah, she did it a few months back.” Hannah said as she closed her bag.

The front door opened and the other guys came in with the girls.

“Any news?” Hannah asked all of them.

“None so far, honey.” Lacey said as she walked into the living room.

Arin and Hannah nodded their heads.

“I can't believe any of this is actually happening.” Brian said as he sat next to Arin.

Jimmy scoffed and shook his head, remembering the last time he walked in Matt's house when Elliot was around.

Brian glared at Jimmy and hoped that he wouldn't say anything in front of Michelle.

“Does anyone know where Leana is?” Jimmy asked.

“She's not been here for a while, she said she's got some family stuff going on.” Gena said.

“Do you think-” Michelle was going to ask but Jimmy cut her off.

“Leana would never get involved with anything like this!”

“Jimmy think about it!” Michelle shouted.

Jimmy looked over at her and motioned for her to continue.

“I know you love her and all but a day before Elliot goes missing, Leana says she has family problems. We all know that Leana and London hates Elliot. There's a good reason why it can be Leana.”

Jimmy stood up and shook his head.

“It can't be,” he whispered.

Everyone in the room looked at Jimmy. They all felt sorry for him as they know the love he has for Leana and if he owns up to it, Elliot.

Matt's footsteps were heard on the stairs and Val stood up. She hugged her boyfriend and kissed his cheek.

“What's the shouting for?” he asked as he wrapped his arms around Val.

“I'm trying to get Jimmy think about something,” Michelle said as she sat next to Brian.

“And that is?” Matt asked.

“Michelle thinks that Leana has something to do with Elliot's disappearance.” Arin said.

Matt's face slowly dropped. He shook his head and frowned.

“She can't have. Leana isn't like that.”
“That's what I'm thinking.” Jimmy said as he looked over at Matt.


Hannah's phone buzzed once and she got her phone, excepting a text from her Mom. Her face went pale and her eyes widened.

“Guys, we have a problem,” she said softly.

“What is it?” Zacky asked.

“This message....it's from an unknown number.”

Arin grabbed Hannah's phone and looked at the message.

Dear little Elliot is okay...for now. But for you guys, she's still M.I.A.

Arin read out the text and looked around the room. Pale face and wide eyes.

“Call the cops.” Matt said.
