Missing In Action

Chapter 43

It's now been a week since the guys have came back from their touring. A week off until May. A few more months until Elliot and Hannah can graduate Junior year. Jimmy has been ignoring Elliot this whole time and brought Leana around to Matt and his parents whenever he was there.

“Elliot, we need to go like, now.” Matt said as he stood at his sisters door.

Elliot brushed her hair one more time and looked over at her brother. She sighed as she stood up and walked over to her brother.

“Why do I even have to go?”

“Because Mom and Dad are meeting us there, along with Amy and Dan.” Matt said as they both walked down the stairs.

“So it's just the seven of us?” Elliot asked.

“Yeah,” Matt said while locking the door.

Elliot nodded her head and climbed into the back of Matt's car, knowing that they were going to pick Val up on the way.

Elliot stared out of the window the entire time. She hadn't got a text for a while and it was making her paranoid. She kept on thinking on the 'What if's'. Once they picked Val up, Matt drove them to the restaurant.

Matt stopped the car and got out, as did Val and Elliot. The three walked into the restaurant and found the table where the family was sat. Elliot stopped.

“The tables for six,” she whispered to Matt.

“Maybe Mom and Dad made a mistake or that's the wrong table.”

Elliot nodded her head and walked over to her parents with Matt and Val.

“Elliot? I didn't know you were coming.” Amy said as she hugged her sister.

Elliot looked back over at Matt.

“Matt said it was a family meal, he told me that I was coming. Mom and Dad didn't tell you?” Elliot said as she looked back over at her sister.

“They said that you weren't coming.”

Elliot nodded her head once again. She smiled weakly to her siblings and walked out of the restaurant. They never wanted her there.

Once she got out of the restaurant Elliot sighed and leaned against the building.

“I thought they said it was a family dinner,” Matt said as he walked out of the restaurant.

“Obviously I'm not apart of the family.” Elliot said.

“Maybe if you weren't such a bitch they would have made you apart of it.”

Elliot glared at Matt.
“I'm only telling you the truth Elliot,” he said.

Elliot scoffed and started to walk away.

“Where are you going?” he shouted.

“Somewhere where I'm welcome!” Elliot shouted back.

Matt made no effort to catch up with her, he just let his youngest sister walk away. Elliot heard her phone go off in her clutch. She sighed as she got her phone out.

Brian
Stay wherever you are, Matt said you need a ride.

She sighed again and stayed where she was, not bothering to continue to walk. Not long from waiting, Elliot saw Brian's car pull up. Elliot climbed into the passenger seat and closed her eyes.

“Matt's not told me the story, care to explain?”

“Family dinner,” Elliot said.

“And what about it?”

“I wasn't invited.”

Brian was silent. He nodded his head and started to drive. The rest of the car ride was silent until Elliot noticed something.

“You just missed the turning,” Elliot said while pointing to the road that lead her to her home.

“Nope, we're not going your house. I'm taking you to a place where I find most amazing.” Brian said.

Elliot nodded her head and looked at the scenery around her. It wasn't the city anymore, it was more forest.

“Brian?”

Brian hummed and looked over at Elliot.

“Where are we going?”

“You'll see, now stop asking questions.”

Elliot nodded her head and leaned her head on the window.

“Cheer up, it's their loss for not booking a table for seven.”

“Brian it's not like that,”

Brian stopped the car and Elliot frowned.

“Care to explain?” Brian asked.

“Why are we here?” Elliot asked.

“Because you see California and hardly anyone comes here.”

Elliot looked around her and saw it was just woodland. She sighed and looked over at Brian.

“Has Matt said anything about me? Anything about not wanting me or something like that?”

“I don't think so, why?”

“Its like no one in my family wants me anymore.”

“Of course they do Elliot, don't be mad.”

Elliot looked away. Brian sighed and revved the car.

“I'm going to take you to Matt's until he comes back.” Brian said as he drove back onto the highway.

When the two of them got to Matt's, Brian came into Matt's with Elliot.

“You don't need to babysit me,” Elliot said as she sat down in the living room.

“I know.” Brian said as he sat next to her.

They sat in silence before Brian said another word.

“I'm sorry, for everything I've done.”

“It's fine,” Elliot said softly as she looked over at him.

Brian looked back at her and looked into her blue eyes.

“It's not though, I really hurt you.”

“Brian it doesn't matter.”

“Elliot, it does.”

Elliot shook her head and sighed. Brian smiled weakly and leaned in to kiss her. Elliot froze and watched Brian lean into her. She never stopped him for what he was about to do. Brian's lips soon met Elliot's, but the thing that shocked the latter was that she kissed him back, even though she knew that he still had Michelle.

“Matt?” a voice suddenly yelled out.

Brian and Elliot ignored it. They just got closer together.

“What the-”

Brian pulled away from Elliot softly and looked at the person.

“Why are you here?” Brian asked.

“I needed Matt.”

“Well he's at a family meal.” Brian said bluntly.

“Then why's Elliot here?”

“Because I wasn't invited when I thought I was.” she said while facing the other way.

“I'll just leave then, leave you two for a nice evening. And Brian, don't let Michelle catch you again.”

They both watched the person leave Matt's house. Elliot sighed and looked out the window. Jimmy drove off and she knew all of this was payback in reality.

Notes

So I decided that instead of updating everything, I'd rather put up the link so I did and here's newest chapter! I've had a really bad case of writers block hence why late. You have to read the story in the link because it's this when Google was being okay.

@LadyRevenge

Thank you!!! And you will find out soon, don't worry. Leana might have something to do with it, but she might have a little role if she does. And you have been with this story from the beginning so thank you for continuing to read it!

Ooh man that ending. I wonder who kidnapped Elliot and what had happened prior to that. I have a feeling Leana probably does have a hand in that whole thing. Hooray for a sequel! Absolutely loved this story.
