Chapter 2

9 months later

~Third Person~

Today was the day both Brian and Jessica have been anxiously waiting for. Today was finally the day that Jessica would become Mrs. Haner. It was the day that Brian would marry his best friend. Jessica was nothing but a nervous wreck as she waited inside the building with her father. Her knees were shaking, her heart was racing, and her palms were starting to sweat. Jessica's dad tried his best to calm her down, but nothing helped. Brian was just as bad as Jessica, if not worse. Deep down, Brain had a fear that Jessica would end up walking away and leaving him.

"She keeps crying. I think she misses her daddy." Brain's younger sister, McKenna, said as she walked up to him with 9 month old Melody screaming in her arms. Brian chuckled and took his daughter into his embrace and kissed her tear stained cheeks.

"What's wrong, baby girl? Wanna go see mom?" Melody sniffled and whined, nuzzling his neck. "Don't cry, my gorgeous little girl." Brian blew a raspberry onto his daughters cheek and she hollered in laughter. Jessica peeked out from the doors and felt her heart swell with love as she saw Brian with their daughter. That was when Jessica was no longer nervous because she knew that she was making the right choice marrying Brian. Brian looked up and saw Jessica, taking his daughters small hand and waving. He handed her back to his little sister once she stopped crying and wanted Mac to hold her.

It was a perfect day for them to get married. The sun was high in the sky and the air had a gentle breeze. The white trees above the venue swayed gracefully. The guests were all piling in by now and taking their seats, eagerly awaiting to see the bride walk down the aisle.

Suddenly, everyone went silent as the beginning of Can't Help Falling in Love began to play. Brian's heart was thumping in his chest, he could hear it in his ears and his breathing became shallow. Jessica could feel her knees shake with each step she took in her silver Christian Louboutins. Once she came to the end of the aisle, she clenched onto her dads forearm for support and so that she wouldn't run up to Brian.

Everyone gasped as they saw the dress Jessica was in. Nearly costing $9,000, her dress from Berta hugged her curves perfectly. In nine months, she managed to get back her old body. A ball formed in the back of his throat as Brian tried to swallow his tears. She looked like an absolute angel in his eyes.

"We are gathered together on this beautiful afternoon to share with Jessica and Brian as they exchange vows of their everlasting love."

"And who gives this woman to this man?" The reverend asked once Jessica and her father reached where Brian was at.

"We do." Both of Jessica's parents stood up with tears. They were happy that they resolved everything between them and they couldn't be happier that Jess was marrying someone who would treat her right. "Please treat our baby girl right."

"I promise." Brian shook her dad hands and kissed her mothers cheek. The reverend continued on with the ceremony as everyone watched.

"You may now exchange your vows that you have written for each other." Reverend Timothy said. Brian took out a folded piece of paper from his inside pocket and held it with shaky hands. Taking a calming breath, he began to read.

"Jessica, I solemnly vow to take care of you and our daughter, to protect both of you from the harmful world, to stay by your side in sickness and in health, to support you in what ever decision you make. I promise to love you unconditionally, to laugh and cry with you, to share my life with you. I promise to cherish you for as long as we both shall live. All that is mine, is yours. I love you more than anything in this world." Brian said, no longer shaking. Brian wiped a stray tear that ran down her beautiful face. Jessica chucked and nuzzled her cheek into his hands and took a breath and began her own vows.

"Brian, I vow to be by your side in all things, to trust and respect you, to support you with the band. I promise to share your joys and sorrows and comfort you when you need me. I promise to love you truly, faithfully, and unconditionally. I vow to never leave your side no matter what happens. I give you my heart, my hand in marriage, and my love. I promise to cherish you till the day I die." From the crowd, you could hear people sniffling and quietly sobbing. Brian wanted nothing more than to kiss Jessica right there, but he had to wait.

"Brian, will you take Jessica to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you trust and honor her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"

"Hell yes." Brian said. Jessica chuckled through the tears and gripped his hands tighter, not wanting to cry like a baby.

"Jessica, will you take Brian to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"

"Of course." Jessica said, tears still flowing down her face. Reverend Timothy signaled for them to exchange rings. Jimmy, who was the best man, dug his hands into his pocket and took out two rings. Fumbling with them, he finally gave them to the reverend. Brian slipped on a diamond band onto Jessica's fingers. Jessica then slipped on a plain platinum ring onto his tattooed finger.

"I know pronounce you-" Brian couldn't wait any longer. He cupped Jessica's face and gave her a hard kiss that was full of love and need. Jessica ran her fingers through his hair and kissed him back with just as much love and need."Husband and wife."

Everyone cheered and hollered for the new couple. McKenna got up from where she was sitting and handed Melody over. Brian kissed Jessica once more and took their daughter from her arms and kissed her also. Together, with Melody on Brian's hip, Jessica and Brian walked hand in hand down the aisle.

"Looks like your stuck with me." Brian teased Jessica. Brian was worried that she would end up changing her mind last minute, but the fact that she didn't, made him so happy. Finally, Brian has found that one person who would always love him, his flaws and all.

"Well, I guess life will never ever be boring." Jessica teased him back. Jessica never felt so happy. She always dreamt about the day she would get married to the love of her life and have a child with that person. Brian kissed Jessica again, that familiar shock running through both of their bodies. Everything right then and there couldn't get any better for either of them. In the middle of their kiss, Melody pushed away Jessica and snuggled her daddy's neck.

"She's such a daddy's girl." Jessica rolled her eyes at her daughter but joined Brian in laughter.

"Yup. She's my little princess. And you're my queen." Jessica's heart melted and she kissed him again, a lot harder than before. She bit his bottom lip and he groaned.

"Babe, if we don't stop, I'll take you right here." Brian huffed and readjusted his slacks, which were now becoming unbearably tight. Jess giggled at her husband and shook her head. Melody was still snuggled into her dads neck, clueless as to what was happening.

"I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you, Mrs. Haner."

"And I look forward to building a new life with you, Mr. Haner."
