Alice In Wonderland

Alice's Pov
I was so glad to be home. I missed Angie, my room, my clothes, everything. It's Sunday and I'm already getting bored. It's 2 p.m. and he asked me to be at his house at 5. I honestly think that we're moving way too fast. I mean, it's only been a week since I became his girlfriend. And I already stayed at his house. I really need a break from all of this. I tried to sleep but that wouldn't help. My phone rings and I see the caller. Thank god it's not him. It's Alison, my elder sister. I take the call and take a deep breathe before speaking, "Hey Al." I said.
"Hey baby girl, how're you doing?" Alison asked.
"I'm good. What about you? Having fun in New Jersey?" I asked.
"Fun? My life's the same. Only a few things have changed." She replied.
"What kind of changes?" I asked curiously.
"You're gonna be an aunt!" My sister said cheerfully.
"What? Me an aunt?" I asked.
"Yes!" She said.
"Oh Al, I'm so happy for you." I said.
"Thank you." She said.
"I wish I was there with you and Finn." I said. Finn Sanborn was my brother-in-law. He was an investment banker. My sister's a lucky one to have him.
"How about you come here for a few days?" She asks.
"Me in New Jersey? Are you kidding me?" I ask surprised.
"Yeah, why? What's wrong?" She asks.
"You know I can't afford it." I said.
"How could you even think that you can't afford it? We are buying you the ticket." My sister said.
"Al, you really don't have to." I pleaded.
"I don't wanna hear anything. You are coming here. I'll send you the ticket in a few days. OK?" She asked.
"But I have to work. And I already have a lot of problems over here." I said.
"Alice, what's wrong?" My sister asked.
"Al, I............." And I told her everything, from day one till today.
"Oh my god, Alice are you OK now?" Alison asked.
"I'm fine. But I don't think I can do anything." I said.
"Sweetie, everything's gonna be fine. Just talk to him and make him understand." She said.
"I'll try." I mumbled.
"Alice, I gotta go now. I'll send you the tickets as soon as possible. Love ya. Take care." Al said.
"Bye and take care." I said and hung up. I feel a lot better after talking with Alison. She's 4 years older than me and is gonna be a mom soon! I'm so excited, I'm gonna be an aunt!!

Brian's Pov
It's almost 4:30 and I am waiting for Alice. She was supposed to be here at 5. She wanted to take things slow. I think I can do that. I'll try my best.
The guys were gonna come before 7, so I needed everything to be ready. Jimmy was calling me every now and then and asking whether he should come early. I told him not to, but we all know Jimmy. He didn't listen. He showed up at 5:20 p.m. And Alice wasn't here yet.
"So where's Allie?" He asked as he plopped on my couch.
"Who's Allie?" I asked.
"Your girlfriend, Alice." He said.
"Oh, she's probably on her way." I said.
"Hey, you know what happened last night?" Jimmy said with a goofy smile. This meant that he had done something.
"What?" I asked with a smirk.
"Last night, we guys went to the bar and Short Shit, you won't believe what he did." Jimmy said with a laugh.
"What?" I asked curiously.
"He had a whole bottle of scotch and after that, he went to random girls and asked for a lift. But all of them, got pretty scared of him and ran away. And one of the chicks was gonna beat him up, but thank god, Matt saved him." Jimmy said laughing uproariously. I couldn't help but laugh with him.
"I missed this." Jimmy said motioning between us.
"What?" I asked.
"Me and you hanging around together." He said.
"Times have changed." I said.
"I know, and so did you." He said.
"I changed?" I asked.
"You're not the old Brian anymore." He said.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"You used to get pissed at everything and all. But now, you have changed." Jimmy said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah, ever since you got together with Alice, you changed." He said. Alice changed me??
"Change means good change. Or bad change?" I asked.
"Of course good change." Jimmy said surprised.
"OK, what else has happened?" I asked.
"Matt has been missing for a few days." Jimmy said.
"Missing?" I asked confused.
"We didn't meet or talk." Jimmy said.
"He's coming. So you can ask him when he's here." I said.
"You two talked?" Jimmy asked,
"Yeah, I invited him here." I said.
"Did you quarrel?" Jimmy asked.
"Why would I quarrel with Matt?" I asked.
"Nothing, I just thought.........." Jimmy mumbled.
"Why does everyone think I'm........mean and aggressive?" I asked.
"Who said that?" Jimmy asked.
"No one, I just assumed." I mumbled.
"So, what's for dinner?" Jimmy asked excitedly.
"Pizza?" I said.
"Awesome." Jimmy said and hugged me. I kind of missed him...............................
