Alice In Wonderland

Angie's Pov
It's almost 11 a.m. and Alice is still not home. I am seriously getting worried. She isn't even taking my calls. I hope she's fine. But anyways, it's Sunday but I still have a lot of work to do. I start doing my work and ten minutes later the doorbell rings. I get up and open the door and see Alice. She looked.....the same.
"So you decided to come back." I joked.
"Yeah, I was home sick." She said and came inside.
"Why did you decide to stay at his house all of a sudden?" I asked.
"Angie, he wanted me to stay there, I don't know why. But nothing happened." Alice said.
"Hoe do you know? He could have done something." I said.
"I don't wanna talk about him right now. I've already had enough." Alice said and went to her room. I followed her inside and asked, "Had enough? What does that mean?"
"I told him to take things a bit slow. That pissed him off!" Alice said crossing her arms.
"What did he do?" I asked.
"His friends wanna meet me tonight at dinner. And he asked me come a few hours earlier, which I refused." Alice said.
"Dinner with his friends?" I asked.
"Yes, and you are invited too." She said.
"Oh........" His friends, that means Matt's gonna be there too.
"You are coming, and no questions asked!" Alice said.
"Did you learn that from your boyfriend?" I asked.
"Learned what?" She asked confused.
"No questions asked. You never say that." I said with a chuckle.
"Maybe." She mumbled.
"Alice, why are you so pissed?" I asked.
"I am not pissed. It's just, a lot has been happening in the last few days. I didn't expect them at all. I never saw myself as a rock star's girlfriend!" Alice said and covered her face in her palm. I sat beside her and hugged her.
"Oh sweetie." I say hugging her.
"Angie, what am I gonna do?" She asked.
"Don't worry. Everything's gonna be fine." I said.
"I hope so." She mumbles.
"Are you hungry?" I asked.
"Nah, I had breakfast." She said.
"Should have guessed that." I mumbled.
"What about you? Did I miss something?" Alice asks and I smile.
"What happened?" Alice asks with a smile.
"You know Matt?" I ask and she nods her head.
"He was waiting for me last night in front of the house. When I came from work, I saw him sleeping in his car. And then he came out and we talked a bit." I said.
"Talked?" Alice said with a smirk.
"He said he'll call today. And he wants to go out." I said.
"He wants to go out with you?" Alice asks.
"No, with you." I said sarcastically.
"Of course with me!" I said excitedly.
"That's great. He seemed a nice guy." Alice said.
"I've been waiting for his call since I woke up." I said looking at my phone.
"Angie, he'll call you." Alice said and went to the washroom.
I came out of her room and started doing my work again. A few moments later, my phone rang and I saw his number. Yippee!

Matt's Pov
I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. Angie and I were gonna go out today. I never fell for someone this fast. Angie was smart and beautiful. I liked how she talked, even when she was interviewing me. I freshened up and had my breakfast. My phone rang and I saw it was Brian. It was Brian. He is calling me??
"Hello?" I said as I picked up.
"Matt, tonight dinner at my place." Brian said.
"What?" I asked.
"Tonight you all are invited at my place for dinner." He said.
"Are you kidding?" I asked.
"Why would I do that?" He asked.
"Fine, but what's the occasion?" I asked.
"Alice wants to meet all of you. So this was the best idea." He said.
"OK, I'll be there." I said and he hung up.
Why did I say yes?? I had to go out with Angie today!!!
Wait, if Alice is gonna be there, then Angie will probably be there too. I should call her and ask.
I called her and she picked after 3 rings.
"Hello." It was really nice to hear her voice again.
"Hi, it's Matt." I said.
"I know. How're you?" She asked.
"I'm good. What about you?" I asked.
"Great." She said.
"Listen Angie, I know we were supposed to go out today. But I don't think we can." I said.
"I know. Alice told me that Brian has invited us at his place for dinner." Angie said.
"Oh, you know it?" I asked.
"Yeah, Alice told me." Angie said.
"OK, I'll see you tonight then." I said.
"Cool, bye." She said.
"Bye." I said and hung up. We're meeting tonight at Brian's place. Speaking of Brian, is he OK???
