Life Changing?
Matt’s P.O.V
The next morning I woke up in Erin’s bed and she was out cold and when I got downstairs Jimmy was awake and grabbing to go coffee.
“Where are you going?” I asked him and he just sighed.
“I think all the fun has messed with you head… remember today we were gonna get that Warmness song finished?” He asked reminding me and I just sighed and shook my head.
“Yeah I forgot, let me just go kiss Erin goodbye and while im doing that grab me some coffee and we will head over to my place” I said and he nodded when I got upstairs Erin
was staring at the ceiling and I came over and sat next to her.
“Where are you going?” She asked softly still tired. I kissed her lightly.
“I gotta go write some music, I may be unavailable most of the day but I promise that will make up for it with dinner tomorrow?” I asked and she sighed.
“I have to go to my mom’s tomorrow night otherwise I would love to do dinner” She said and I was a little bummed.
“Well then Monday after school we will hangout and do homework and stuff together and maybe if you are lucky I will give you a little glimpse of the new song” I said rubbing her hair as she curled up a little slowly fading back to sleep. I kissed her head as she nodded yes to me and she drifted off again. I got up covering her up again and walked downstairs quietly and walked out with Jimmy. When we arrived at my place all the guys were waiting for us.
“Hey dude what took you so long?” Zack asked.
“Jimmy and I had just said goodbye to our sleepy girlfriends. Yesterday was a long and tiring day for them… now who is ready to work on some fucking music!” I said as we walked inside and down to the basement and started writing some more lyrics… Erin was on my mind and so was everything that was going on. For the first few hours we were just writing trying to come up with lyrics and really getting the song flowing and I grabbed the mic and was just stuck in my head and brought my laptop out and was starting get a feeling for what I wanted.
And we have gone through good and bad times

I sang and it just flowed out of me as I held onto the thought of Erin and all that we had been through and what we are and what we had been through. I stopped and the guys just sat there and we felt like we were onto something and just as we ended getting something recorded I decided to pull a bold move.
I sat there my phone ringing.
“Andy Collins” Erin’s dad answered.
“Mr. Collins… Matt Sanders.. I have a song that I would love to have you sit down and listen to” I said to him and the guys just sat there confused.
“Well you are in luck I have just got back into town… you wanna meet me with the guys at Hopeless in about 20 mins?” He asked and I took a deep breath not being able feel my legs from excitement. Jimmy pushed me a little.
“Yes sir!” I said… wow I could not believe this was happening.
“Alright I will see you there Matthew” He said and hung up and I just stood there.
“What happened? WHAT DID HE SAY!” Brian asked and I just stood there for a moment.
“We have to go!” I said loudly.
“GO WHERE!?” Zack asked.
“TO HOPELESS TO HAVE MR. COLLINS LISTEN TO THE DEMO!!!” I said and everyone quickly grabbed their stuff and everyone.. was just in shock and scrambled… our lives could instantly change.
Erin’s P.O.V
All the girls were gathered at my place at 5pm and for some reason I thought my dad would be back by now but he wasn’t and I still hadn’t heard anything from Matt.
“UGH I HATE NOT TALKING TO THE GUYS!” Tatum said and I could tell that like me she was going nuts from this. Hannah was bummed out that she hadn’t seen Brian.
“Well I am starving so let’s just go to dinner and we can entertain ourselves” I said and the girls grabbed their stuff and we went to Olive Garden and sat there shoving our faces with food and making weird faces and enjoying ourselves.
“So Monday is gonna suck!” Monique said and we all sat there laughing not wanting to think about going back to school.
“Oh god I know right! And like I just don’t want to deal with Val and her drama… I feel like I just really would love to be away from her… maybe when spring break hits we should do a road trip!” I said and Monique shot up clapping her hands and everyone just stared at us.
“Haha well isn’t she just a crowd pleaser!” Izzy said laughing and Hannah nearly spit out her pasta and I just rubbed her back laughing.
“We honestly should not be in public!” I said and just laughed at the fact that everyone was annoyed by us. After we finished we went to the mall and shopped and when 11:30 hit and I was home with Izzy there was still no sign of dad and no word from the guys.
“This is really really weird…” Izzy said and I hugged her.
“I think that we should just watch out recorded Price is Right episodes while eating ice cream and pass out if it gets any later!” I said and she just smiled.
“I like the way you think ma’am! I will get the ice cream!” She said loudly and when she came back she hopped on the couch and we cuddled at the ends of the couch… we drifted off with still… no word from the guys.
