Val’s P.O.V

Matt Berry left for the night and I could not believe that Erin actually kicked me out of her party with the full support of the guys… but what was really crazy is that… my period was late… and I had no idea… whether it was from Zack… Matty… or Matt. Either way it was easier to say that it was Matt.. who knew maybe he would like me more and leave Erin if he thought it was his.

“MICHELLE GET IN HERE!” I yelled at here after peeing on one of those stupid sticks… she lied on my bed and stared at me when she saw the test.

“Seriously?” She asked when she saw the plus sign.. fucking hell…

“I have no idea.. who’s it is… but my gut is saying that it is Matt’s” I said to Michelle.

“You think it’s Sanders? I think you need to go see the doctor before you go blabbing about this sweetie… no offense but it all depends on how many weeks… remember that there was some weeks where it would be just Zack.. just Matt.. or just Matty” She said… dammit.

“But it might help me get Matt back” I said and she just rolled onto her back and returned a sorrowful sigh.

“Do what you wanna do.. but if it ends up being Matty’s or Zack’s… you are gonna lose him… forever probably.. so think this through” She said and left the room leaving me alone with my pregnancy test.

Matt’s P.O.V

I was taken by surprise last night after the party when Hannah had told me that she caught Val sleeping around with Matt Berry.. which wasn’t surprising but at the same time I ended up leaving the party because I didn’t want to take my bad mood out on Erin. I was sipping some coffee with Jimmy at my locker and when Erin walked in with Tatum and Monique I was lost in her… the breeze from the door opening blew her hair back perfectly and she looked so natural today and she laughed and then caught my gaze and smiled.

“Ummm dude.. as much as I don’t want to bother you.. I just got an interesting text” Jimmy said in my ear and I could not break the gaze from Erin… until I heard him read the text.

“From Matt Berry.. Val just told me she is pregnant… thinks it Sanders” He said and I grabbed the phone and looked at it in horror.

“Hey sexy” Erin said and I quickly handed the phone back to Jimmy and then smiled nervously after reading that text. She backed up a little from my sudden jumpiness and stood there with her hands in her back pocket.

“Hey there” I said and kissed her quickly and she frowned a little and we both saw Val walk in the door with Michelle and my brows furrowed.

“I will be right back I promise” I said to her and kissed her cheek and walked quickly over to Val and grabbed her arm and walked out of sight with her… hoping that what she said was not fucking true..

“Why am I hearing this from a text on Jimmy’s phone.. and is it fucking true” I said and Val just adjusted herself and played the victim. I sighed and rubbed my head.

“I gotta hear you say it out loud to believe it… my head is fucking spinning right now” I said to her and she sat there looking around and she made a weird look and then gazed at me getting all confident.

“Yes Matt it’s true.. im pregnant and it’s yours” She said… fucking hell..

Erin’s P.O.V

Matt walked around the corner with Val and I looked at Jimmy for a moment and I walked over to my locker by the corner and was partially hearing what they were saying and then I moved even closer trying to hear everything that was going on and right now Matt was freaking out. I peeked my head around the corner and Val met my gaze and then looked back at Matt and uttered the words… I never imagined were coming.

“Yes Matt it’s true.. im pregnant and it’s yours” She said and then looked at Matt but after he freaked out and moved back she looked back at me and raised her eyebrows.. I walked over to Monique and grabbed my bag off the floor.

“Erin sweetie what is going on?” Monique asked and Tatum turned and Hannah and Izzy both strayed over and I saw Matt come around the corner and he was confused. Val stood behind him… her glare burning into the situation.

“I think I am gonna skip today.. I need some air” I said and walked past everyone and past Matt and he grabbed my hand and not even looking at him I pulled away.

“I heard” I said and he pulled me spinning me around and my hand came up and slapped him. Jimmy came over and he pulled me away and back into him and Val grabbed Matt’s arm.

“Come on Erin let’s go” Jimmy said and I just stood there unable to find words. Monique pulled me with Jimmy.

“Come on sweetie Jimmy and I will come with you so you can clear your head” She said and I kept gazing back at Matt who I could tell was trying to take in this moment as well… this could either make or break us.. it is all on him this time… and I honestly wasn’t sure if our childhood could pull him towards me over the girl who was with him like that… I sat on Jimmy’s couch with a bowl of ice cream and my phone was buzzing constantly.

“He isn’t gonna choose me… it doesn’t matter if in the ultimatum I chose him.. this is beyond me” I said and Monique rubbed my shoulder.

“According to Tatum and Izzy.. Matt is all fucked up over the fact that you walked out… I think he is more worried about you then Val” Monique said and texted with her other hand. I finally looked at my phone and read messages from Matt.

Erin please… I don’t know what to say –Matt

Talk to me… I can’t stop thinking about you –Matt

Come on it may not actually be mine.. Val likes to sleep around –Matt

TALK TO ME! I WANT TO WORK THIS OUT!!! YOU ARE NUTS TO THINK I WOULD CHOOSE HER –Matt

I SWEAR I WILL TAKE YOU OVER MY KNEE IF YOU DON’T SAY SOMETHING –Matt

Erin… I love you –Matt I read it and went to the next one and then scrolled back up to that last message.. he said it… fuck…. I showed Monique.. who showed Jimmy and he just got really really giddy and started moving around texting and I was just shocked.

I might make my way to our spot… be there? –Erin I texted to Matt.. I really needed to hear him say it and mean it.. over text it and may just be saying it to get my attention… although it was a great hook. I ran out and to the bench and Matt was surprisingly already there and he was tapping his foot and when I ran over there he shot up and hugged me with his hand in my hair.

“I wasn’t sure if you got my texts… you were so angry” He said into my ear.

“I wasn’t mad… I was startled… that is a huge accusation from someone who is fighting
for you.. in a game that I wasn’t aware I was gonna have to play” I said still attached to him and he sighed and pulled away and sat down. I rubbed the carvings of our names and he sighed.

“I meant that last text… I am completely in love with you… I have been since we were kids” He said and my hand dropped and I looked up.

“I love you too… I just don’t know what to do” I said to him and he stroked my cheek.

“I am not gonna become unhinged and let a fallout happen with us over something that may not be true.. Val slept with Zack and Matt Berry… and it has been happening for a while… nothing is set in stone” He said to me and I took a breath in and then lied on my back with my head on his legs and reached up and rubbed his face.

“If we become unhinged… we will do it together..” I said and he grabbed my hand.

“Always” He said and leaned down and kissed me… bring on the whirlwind of drama…
