The Big Move
Erin’s P.O.V
“Erin we need to talk to you about something…” My mother said to me and my father motioned for me to sit down on the couch. I took a deep breath and sat down smoothing out my shirt.
“So your father… he got a job offer in Texas” My mother said and I just smiled.
“Way to go dad!! I am sure that you will enjoy it out there! But wait… when will I get to see you?” I asked and both of my parents just stared at me with somber looks.
“WE… AS A FAMILY are moving to Texas Erin… and it is happening next week on Monday” My father said and I began to cry and go into a little bit of a panic attack… why would they do this to me? I had the greatest life out here…. Oh MY GOD! HOW AM I GONNA TELL MATT… OR JIMMY???? I ran upstairs and planted my face tightly into my pillow and cried. After an hour I heard the phone ring and I answered it.
“Hello?” I said.
“Erin! What are you doing?” Matt asked my guess is he was hanging with Jimmy. All three of us were really close.
“I sitting here on my bed… my parents just told me the worst news ever!” I said getting angry at the end.
“Well come over and Jimmy and I will hang out with you and try and cheer you up!!” He said blissfully and I just smiled and hung up. I ran downstairs and out the door and down a couple of houses to Matts place. His father Gary greeted me with a warm smile.
“Hey there little lady! Matthew is in the basement with James! HAVE FUN!” He said yelling at the end because I ran off before he could finish his statement. When I got downstairs Matt and Jimmy were hitting each other with X-box controllers yelling and I ran and jumped on them.
“HEY ITS ERIN!! ITS FINALLY A GOOD TIME!” Jimmy yelled and I just rolled off and sat at the end of the couch.
“So what is the bad news??” Matt asked getting impatient. I just looked at the both of them and started to cry again.
“ITS HORRIBLE! MY PARENTS ARE MOVING ME TO TEXAS ON MONDAY!” I yelled and they just sat there with wide eyes and I just sat there for a moment.
“OH HELL NO! THEY CANT DO THIS!!!!” Jimmy yelled.
“YA! You can totally just come live here with me Erin! I am sure that my dad would like adopt you or something!” Matt said and I just busted out laughing. We heard Gary come down the stairs and my mom was with him.
“Erin did you forget to tell your mother that you came over here?” Gary asked and I looked at my mom and she was downright pissed and she motioned for me to get upstairs.
“Sorry guys… we will hang again before I leave” I said and walked home with my mother….
MOVING DAY
95% of my boxes and belongings were already at the new house in Texas and I was just finishing up helping my parents get the stuff in the U-Haul… I was so young but so full of life… and the boxes nearly crushed me. Matt ran up the street and smiled at me.
“Erin I am gonna miss ya!” He said and I smiled back at him.
“I will miss you to Matt… thanks for letting me play X-box with you and Jimmy” I said and he just blushed and swayed from side to side. He had a necklace in his hand and I smiled.
“Ummm my mom helped me pick this out… it’s a locket so she says that is shaped like a guitar pick and inside it has our pics… I wanted to give it to you… to remember me” He said and I just stood there and my mom smiled and put it on me.
“Matthew she will never take it off.. we gotta go now Erin.. say goodbye to Matt” My mom said and I moved to Matt and kissed his cheek and then ran off and my father lifted me into the U-Haul… I thought I would never see my bestfriend ever again.

The ending... oh my god... that was so sad :(
