Chipping In
Brian’s P.O.V
“You sure you got this Syn?” Jimmy hovered behind me as I tried to crack through the coding that Erin had placed to secure the girls phone lines, he was watching like a hawk eating while I was trying to focus.
“If you don’t back the hell up I won’t have it, I have never seen anything like this… god she is so good” I mutter under my breath taking a sip of beer going through yet another layer of encryption.
“Yeah but if you just run the new alg-“ Jimmy proceeded to say and I turned back and glared.
“I am running it! She is just very skilled go help Matt and update him that I am almost through and let me do my business tell him that soon I will have a full report for him and have it up and running” I scolded and he ran off to give Matt the good news. I sat there for a good hour going through her system before it popped up that Erin was mid phone call with her boss, she was working on code for a new program stating that she couldn’t find the bug.
“Well well beautiful you missed something” I laughed deviously and helped her out changing it while she tried running it and I could hear the shock in her voice when she said that the issue was fixed. She was so beautifully confused. I trailed off to get through to Hannahs phone knowing that Erin had set up privacy for her as well but got in only moments later going through texts making copies getting it all ready to show Matt. He was gonna be pleased by this.
Erin’s P.O.V
“Nevermind sir it is fixed, I should be ready by the end of the week and have a full report to you!” I chirped and hung up scrolling through seeing the mistake… of course I missed a line in the code… Thank fuck I found it my new job was riding on it. I sent out some emails and heard Hannah come through the door and I smiled as I see that she brought Chinese food with her.
“Well hello there dear!” I call out grabbing some utensils to eat hearing you groan.
“Men out here are total pigs! I cannot even believe the guy who just sold me my car!” Hannah yells still a bit frustrated and I come over pouring her a drink.
“What happened? I thought I heard the sound of screeching tires, you only speed when you are really bothered” I pour myself a drink and she pulls out the food explaining everything to me.
“Oh my god of course, ugh ew honey I am so so sorry to hear that, I bet that was the most uncomfortable thing ever!” I groan and Hannah starts laughing loudly.
“Oh E you know that I gave that man a piece of my mind, this Scottish lass knows how to fend for herself! I got my car and that is all that matters!” She giggles and starts eating the egg rolls and I smile widely.
“Of course you did hun you are one of the strongest woman I will ever know haha I saw that you were looking at jobs are you sure that you want to? I mean it’s really not necessary I can pay for everything” I say pushing through some of the applications that she has done.
“Getting a job is something that I want and besides, I think itll be good for me instead of being here wanting to bother you every thirty seconds while you work” Hannah states and I dig into my food.
“You know you wouldn’t be bothering me haha and if this is what you really want then more power to yah un, I am with you 100%” I smile and hear the mail guy outside heading out going through the mail coming back in with a little ad for a local bar, I put it down on the counter to show Hannah.
“Hey isn’t that one of the places you put in an application for?” I smile.
“Yeah it is! I think that you and I should get all dolled up and we should head over there! Might be really fun to celebrate and really like get our first night out for our move!” Hannah gets excited and I can tell that she is already contemplating what to wear.
“Let’s go look for the sexiest outfits and we will make it an amazing night out!! I am so excited that we are finally going out and doing stuff!!” I get excited and start heading up to my room and then I stop and come back giggling grabbing my food taking it with me. I search through my closet getting picky and finally just throw a quick outfit together going into the bathroom to fix up my hair jamming to the music coming loudly from Hannah’s room. I finish up and head downstairs eating a cookie and see her walking down the stairs looking stunning as ever in her outfit.
“Damn girl you got it going on tonight!!!” I say whistling from how good she looks giggling grabbing our stuff to head out for the evening grabbing my keys heading to my car. Hannah turned on the music upping the volume immediately blaring it singing with me as we drove to the bar. When we arrived there were less people than we imagined but still enough to where the bartender was busy as hell. I sat with Hannah waiting to order a drink looking around moving to the music that played over the loud voices in the room.
“Wow this place is amazing, its upbeat but not all insane like a club, I can see what you wanted to work here haha maybe you should go talk to the owner? I am sure that on a Saturday he is around!” I smile finally ordering our drinks.
“I think I will, sounds like a good and proactive idea E!” Hannah says taking her drink with her running off to find the owner of the bar, I sip my wine just leaning against the bar enjoying the relaxation. I finished my drink trying to get the bartenders attention groaning a bit.
“Cmon really like a little service would be nice!” I call down the bar.
“They are short staffed but if you want I can get you whatever you’d like” I heard a voice say and I turn and see that its… holy shit… Synyster Gates? I sit there for a moment a bit speechless but then try to play it cool.
“Well I was drinking wine but what you have in your hand looks good too” I say smiling trying to calm myself as he goes behind the bar pouring a couple of drinks coming back around.
“I come here with the guys and I have never ever seen you around here gorgeous” He says to me and I smile.
“Just moved out here with my friend Hannah, she and I were starting a new chapter of our lives, kinda like evolving haha” I say taking down part of the drink realizing that I am blurting out a bit much for just meeting him.
Mystery persons P.O.V
Hannah and Erin were of course already settling into their new life.. Erin was talking Syns ear off while Hannah attempted to nail to job chatting it up with the owner Johnny… those two make me sick.. I moved closer hiding behind a crowd of people listening to Erin stutter her words, my phone buzzed.
*We have landed, meet us 1 hour* I read it and shoved it away smirking deviously taking one last look at the girls before exiting the bar.
“Oh girls…. This little adventure has only just begun”
