"Caty we need to talk." Jason sat down at the dinning room table as I prepped our dinner.
"Yeah, Babe?"
"I... I have to break off our engagement and break up with you." I dropped the knife I was using to cut the chicken. I was in shock. "Work is picking up, I... I don't have time to have a girlfriend or a fiancée." I leaned against the cabinets behind me and slid to the floor. I couldn't talk. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't function.
"Where am I suppose to go? I moved here with you, I have no where to go."
"You can stay in the guest room until to figure it out. Just stay out of my way, I have to focus on work." He got up from the table and disappeared somewhere in the house.
