Brian’s POV
I looked at the other guys, so we would be really doing this?
Buying us the freedom from Francis and a chance back for our girls?! Hopefully it would be working out like that, because I wasn’t too sure right now.

“Alright, then… we agree… you call Larry and say you quit and are about to leave, no way back.” I said narrowing my eyes on him and he just began to chuckle again.
“Well, not so easy. You don’t think I leave before having the money, will you?” He said looking smug and I clenched my fists, is this guy fucking serious?

“What do you mean?” Matt demanded “How are we supposed to give you the money now? We cannot just go to a bank getting 100,000 $, dickhead. That needs some time.” He said and Francis nodded.
“I know, but I won’t leave before I have proof of you meaning it honest. What if I call Larry, say I quit and you guys back out?”He lifted an eyebrow in question and I sighed.

“What proof?” Zack asked and I looked at my watch, they would be at the airport already, if we really wanted them to get back we had to think of something real quick.

“Well, I want you to at least give me cash down of let’s say 5,000 $ so I know you mean it and the rest can be transferred to my account during… let’s say 3 days. How does that sound?” Francis said and I looked at Matt who nodded.

“We will manage that but you have to call Larry, now!” I told him and Matt nodded agreeing with me again.
“Nope, sorry guys. I’ll make the demands. When I got the money, 5,000 not one penny less I will make the call.” He insisted and I looked at Jimmy, he was the one with the crazy spontaneous ideas.

“Give us a second.” I held my hand up to Francis and took the other guys to the back room.
“What you guys got?” I asked and Matt was the first to answer “About 500 here and 1,000 on my account, but need to drive to the nearest city for that.”

“Same with me and you guys?” I couldn’t really believe that we were doing this, but we had no other choice right now, not if we wanted to keep the girls. Once they were on the plane and of to the Bahamas, our chance of getting them back was about zero.

“I got 1,000 bucks was planning to buy me some things in the next town, but shit… ” Johnny said and I nodded, good.
“Zack? Jimbo? What about you?” Matt pulled his phone out looking nervously at it and I knew how he was feeling.

“We need to hurry, Larry said something about an hour… we need to reach him before he is on board.”
“I know, but we have to get the 5,000 or that fucker won’t call him.”
“What if we call him, now? We can tell him already that he quit, in that time we get the rest of the money in hope Larry won’t call that guy back?” Johnny asked and I saw Jimmy opening cupboards and looking into each and every corner of the bus, what was he doing there again?

“Jimmy! What the hell! Can you concentrate, please” I stopped him with my hands on his shoulders when he narrowed his eyes, then they suddenly lit up and he shoved me out of his way.

“HERE! Got it!” He came back with a full envelope.
“What’s that?” I asked grabbing the envelope from him “Two thousand.” Jimmy announced grinning.

“Zack how about you?” He was our hope in getting it settled quickly.
“I got maybe 300? I don’t know… that’s not enough.” He shook his head and I rubbed my neck.
“Fuck!” Not much missing… but still not enough.

“Alright… then you guys go to the Berry’s, then ask Dan… fuck whoever you find, so we get the rest of the money. And Matt and I will call Larry, before he is really out of reach. We will just tell him that the fucker left and describe the situation, trying to not even let him care about that guy… afterwards we will convince him that we need the girls back.” I said and the guys nodded, Jimmy took Francis on the arm, leading him off the bus, accompanied from Johnny and Zack.

I closed the door again, pulling my phone out, the hour was nearly up if I remembered correctly, now we had to be lucky to still reach Larry.

I was about to hit the button when Matt stopped my hand “What are you planning to say?”
I stared at him, we didn’t have much time to think about what to say, did we?!

“I thought we would just wing it… I mean we need to catch him that’s more important than to write down a dialogue of our talk before hand, don’t you think?!” I snapped at Matt who gave me an angry stare back “Fine, just wing it then.” Matt shrugged and I nodded.

I touched the green button and it rang, thank god it rang, now I was realizing maybe a minute of thinking about what to say wouldn’t have hurt and I saw the knowing look on Matt’s face.
“Yeah yeah… you gotta help me out then.” I told him and earned a chuckle.

“What is it Brian? I need to be on my plane in 5 minutes, so it better be important.” Larry’s voice sounded and I breathed deeply in and out.
“Actually its Brian and Matt, damn… Glad we could still catch you, we have a problem and need your help.” I said and waited for his reply.
“Damn, when I left you guys an hour ago everything had been fine, so what happened now?” Larry asked and he sounded a little out of breathe.

“Well, we need your help cause the merch guy quit.” I said and then there was silence.
“Larry?” I asked again and then I heard heavy breathing.

“What do you mean he quit?!” Larry sounded angry and I looked over at Matt for help.
“Larry, it’s Matt…. Well he said he quit, he was still in his trial work, so he said he could go one minute to the other… he found a better job and left. He wanted to call you… so I guess he didn’t? Did he?” Matt asked and I nodded, nice trick.

“WHAT THE-” Larry stopped mid curse and then I heard the loudspeaker in the background and that must be the announcement for Larry’s flight.
“Larry… we need someone who is taking care of our merch stand. We already talked to Jason, but there is no way he can take over.” I said and Matt grinned.
“Damn, and what if I call him offering him more money, do you guys think he would-” Larry started and I shook my head vehemently.

“No way. He said he already had something new… And I mean Jimmy checked the money on the booth and it was pretty much nothing, I don’t think that guy was good for our business anyway…” I tried and heard the heavy sigh from Larry.

“So… what are we doing now?” I asked and waited for Larry to tell us that we could get the girls back, come on Larry, that was the only solution.

“Sir, no phones in this area” A female voice sounded and then Larry muffled voice apologizing.
“I only got a few minutes left guys. I can’t find you someone else that soon… shit… let me think…” Larry said finally and I looked at Matt, we had to push him into the right direction.

“How about the girls?” Matt finally asked musing and I had to grin, as if we had to think about that.
“I can’t do that, guys… I promised them the vacation since the beginning… I mean I told them it would only be for two weeks, now they have this vacation, I can’t cancel that now… I just can’t” Larry said and I felt my heartbeat increase.

What was he talking about? My eyes snapped up to Matt’s and he looked a little panicked, too.
How could we convince him that we needed the girls back, that we needed the girl with us, without telling him exactly that?

“Yes, I think… if you ask them… maybe they will help us out…” I said and tried my luck,
“I bet they would help us, I mean it’s an emergency situation, and it wouldn’t be forever… maybe just postpone the vacation a little longer?” Matt asked and another loudspeaker was interrupting us and now it was really urgent that Larry had to go, but first he had to tell us that we needed to get the girls back, please…

“I don’t have time to call them, and even though I saw their flight got delayed for 45 minutes, I can’t ask that of them… I mean… damn… what can we do?” Larry sounded really clueless and I looked at Matt, when suddenly the door burst open and Jimmy stood there, he looked at the phone and I nodded.

“Larry, we need someone at the booth. The guy left already, and we can’t have no one there… if you want to I can call the girls? I will ask them real nice, just to postpone their vacation? What do you say?” Jimmy asked and I crossed my fingers, come on Larry! COME THE FUCK ON!

“Shit, fine. Ask them, but guys, if they wanna go on vacation, they will go. I don’t want to hear any complaints from them. And you know the rules, keep an eye on them but don’t break the rules… even though I still can’t think my girls would want to postpone a Bahamas vacation… anyway, good luck. I need to get my plane or it will leave without me now.” Larry finished and then hung up on us.

I pulled my phone out as did Matt, calling Avery’s number right away, we exchanged them right before Larry arrived, but I got only voicemail.
“Fuck, you got any luck?” I looked at Matt but he also pulled the phone from his ear.
“Let’s head to the airport right away, we need to catch them before they are gone for good.”

“I got Zack already waiting in the cab.” Jimmy said and I clapped his back “Genius man, we need to hurry.”
“Let’s get our girls back… but how did you get rid of Franhole that easily?” Matt asked while we climbed into the waiting cab.

“You got Daddy’s approval?” Zack asked and I nodded “Hard work, but finally Jimmy was the one convincing him…or was it his already boarding plane? We will never know…” I chuckled because now, it was the first time that I could really breathe again, because soon I would have my Avery back.

She wouldn’t leave that soon again and I would be able to enjoy her fully and entirely, her as mine, mine alone!

“With the other guys helping us out with the money, and us reassuring that we would mention his shitty bands name in the next interview, he packed his shit and left… He said something about writing Larry a message, or not… I don’t know if there will be an end to it or not… but at least we got rid of him for now. I told MB to take care of the financial shit, so the other guys got their money back and we split it through us, he wasn’t really convinced but that’s something to talk about later… now we need to be at the airport in time…” Zacky said looking at the cabby and he lifted an eyebrow.

“You heard that? Put the pedal to the ground, will ya? We have two lives to safe.” Jimmy added and I chuckled, damn… we really had the best friends, didn’t we… now we just had to be in time.

Maya’s POV

Larry left us at the right gate and we were doing some small talk, when the least thing I wanted to talk to someone.
I just wanted to lick my wounds and bury myself in my bed… or preferably in some strong tattooed arms…

I already missed the big guy… and I was only an hour separated from him, what the fuck?!
“Alright, my girls. I have to leave now. I wish you a safe flight, don’t do anything stupid, take good care of each other, and thank you again for helping out.” Larry kissed my cheek and hugged me then went over to Avery doing the same.

“Thanks Daddy, we really had a good time and thanks for the vacation, we will enjoy it.” God, Ave was such a bad liar, but her father just smiled and kissed her forehead again before turning around and leaving.
“Call me after you land, so I know you are safe.” He called waving us and sending Ave a final kiss.
I waved back before sinking down on my seat and Ave fall into the one beside me.

“I hate to lie to him…” Ave said quietly on a sigh and I nodded “Because you suck so bad at it, you are just lucky Daddy doesn’t realize” I grinned a little and Ave slapped my shoulder playfully.
“I am just not such a good liar as you are.” I chuckled.
“That’s about right.”

“You heard your Daddy? Our flight got delayed for 45 minutes, so we have more time to kill.” I looked around and how about we would find us some booze before the flight.
If I got really drunk, would I forget this weird feeling of missing Matt?

“You thinking the same thing I am?” I asked Avery and she looked at me from the side.
“If Brian is also thinking about you?” Ave asked with a smirk and I rolled my eyes “No, well maybe he is, because I’m fucking gorgeous, but I was thinking of getting us some nice buzz going before getting onto that plane.” I said and Ave looked a little uncertain.

“Come on, you don’t have to get drunk again” I chuckled “Just a small sip or two… I need something to numb me, how about you?” I asked and Ave finally nodded.
“Sounds reasonable, Dad’s gone now… Let’s find something to drink.” She got up and pulled me along.

20 minutes later we had about 2 different drinks and I was still sipping on a beer while Avery rather went for a coke, telling she still felt drunk from the day before, but I bet she was just chicken out afraid Daddy, was still around somewhere.

The loudspeaker announced our flight finally and I downed the rest of my beer, it wasn’t really time for drinking, but what the hell… maybe I got some weird looks here but as if I would give a damn.
Maybe I was afraid to fly?!
I stuck my tongue out at an elderly lady looking at me and Ave with lifted eyebrows and a disapproving look.

“We need to go little gnome..” I got up and grabbed Ave’s arm, she looked sad again and I knew she was also thinking as soon as we would set a foot into that plane, it was over for good…

We walked towards the boarding area, and I leaned against the wall, we stood in line, still a few people ahead of us.

“Miss… did I see you drinking alcohol there?” I deep voice asked behind me and I frowned.
“Who are you to care-”I stopped and looked into the handsome dimpled smile of Matt, who leaned against the wall next to me.
“BRIAN!” I heard Ave cry in joy and then she jumped into his arms and I still couldn’t believe it.
“What the hell are you doing here?!” Ave laughed but this still did mean nothing, did they want to wave us goodbye, then he better get his ass moving out of here, or I would cry like a baby.

“Don’t… Matt...” I sighed, “Can you just go. One goodbye was hard enough, wasn’t it?” I asked and he looked a little dumbfounded.
“What?” He asked and I saw Zack and Jimmy coming towards us as well, Brian let Ave down and she headed right into Zack’s arms who swirled hear around and she laughed in happily.
Why didn’t she get, that this was just another time to say goodbye.

“We need to move.” I said shaking my head and Matt frowned.
“That`s it?” Matt asked and looked angry now.
“What? I told you goodbye, you shouldn’t have come here… and you too.” I pointed at Jimmy, who just grinned, what was so funny?!

“Babe, you won’t go anywhere…” Matt grabbed my wrist and pulled me into him and I frowned, what was he talking about?
“What do you mean?” I asked and Matt chuckled “You still work for me, so you better get that sexy ass back to work, where I can see it… and touch it… and-” Matt bit his full bottom lip and damn he was making my stomach flutter again.

“What are you talking about?” I asked him and he grinned “I hoped for a welcome like Brian got from Ave, but I guess that ship has sailed, right?” Matt asked and Jimmy shoved him out of the way.
“Talk English to that woman, Franny quit and we convinced Daddy that you had to come back, so just say the word and you will be back on the road with us, Knife Girl?” I stared at Jimmy than looked at Matt and he nodded.

“You are not playing us now, are you? You really got him to quit?” I asked excitedly and now Zack, Brian and Ave stood next to us, blocking the whole Boarding entry.
“Yup, you guys are back and Franny quit. We told you we would manage, didn’t we?” Brian asked kissing Ave again and I couldn’t suppress the smile anymore!
I pushed myself of the wall and jumped right into Matt’s arms, he caught me easily and I kissed him right away, his tongue slipped into my mouth immediately and I moaned.

“Are you going in or out? You better make some space for the other passengers!” A voice called and I grinned.
“In.. I want you to be definitely in, that’s for sure” I moaned near Matt’s ear and he groaned.
“Not even an hour gone and you had been driving me crazy now I have you back in my arms and you are driving me crazy, too… what spell do you have on me?” Matt growled and I grinned.
“Well, you wanna know that, huh?” I slung my arms around his neck pecking his lips again.

“Guys, we should move out of this area, before they send the security in to get us out.” Zack announced and Matt slowly let me down, grabbing my hand but I pulled away, to firmly hug Jimmy and kiss his cheek then moving over to Zack and Brian, they were all part of this and I couldn’t wait to go back home with them.
