I had been pacing my room the entire time, thinking about my possibilities… should I go over to her or should I leave it?
Was it worth fighting for?
Was it worth having trouble with one of my friends over a woman?

But then… never a woman had made me want her again after such a short amount of time… not after I already had her… and now seeing her with someone else was doing things to me that were completely unknown, that meant something, right?

I mean that had to mean something, I just couldn’t grab what it was…
And after admitting to the guys that I did like her, it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.
And they were talking about it, like they already knew, like it was nothing new, but for me it was.
I haven’t felt like this before, so how did I know there was more to it than the normal hook up?

Before I went to my room I talked to Jimmy again, he was acting like he did nothing wrong, but he was my best friend, he should be on my side, not on Jason’s what the hell?!

What did he say?

“If you told me you liked her and wanted to spend time with her I would have done the same for you, but you didn’t… and Jason did. Brian, sometimes it’s needed to admit your feelings, as weird and confusing as they are… Oh and if I were you, I would quickly make up my mind, before Jason is head over heels, and I think that won’t take long…”

With that he left me standing there and walked away from me, what did he mean, make up my mind, did he know something more?

Fuck, I knew that I was thinking way too long about all this and had to do something, but what?
What am I supposed to do?

I never had problems in convincing a girl that we could have fun, but now I had to convince a girl that she needed me more than the other guy… but what does she like about Jason anyway?
We were completely different… or does that mean, she really just wanted sex and now wants the safe boat with Jason, was that it?

Fucking hell… I would do something, and I would do it right now.

I walked down the lobby and arranged a small something, let’s call it a door opener.
“When should we deliver it?” The woman at the reception asked and I looked at my watch, I needed a couple more minutes.

“In 20 minutes, is that possible?” I asked and she nodded with a flirtatious smile, but I didn’t even wait for more of an answer, just turned around and left.

I saw Jason in the lobby, together with his brother Matt and Dan, and the new guy that Larry introduced, I hated him already, I didn’t like his attitude and if he thought he could steal the girls position away from under our noses, he was damn wrong.

“So will you finally tell what I have to do? I mean, come on… This is bullshit!” The new guy yelled and I saw him bringing different kind of Merch articles into the lobby in big boxes.

“You questioning our ways? Damn, these two girls were doing their job without asking twice and without complaining the entire time. You better get your ass to moving, or you can quit right away!” Matt roared and the guy narrowed his eyes.

“Fuck off, as if you let the girls work their asses of like this, you just keep watching them bend over, right?” The new guy answered and I narrowed my eyes on him, did he meet the girls already?

I didn’t like to think that this guy would be around the girls at all, he seemed like a huge dick and he would not only flirt with one of the girls, but maybe he would cross the line we didn’t want him too.
Maybe Matt was right, and we shouldn’t let him near them anyway.

“Of course, the girls are doing this too. Checking the stock, that’s what this is about. You have to bring in the things, and check everything and write it down, write it so we can read it. And when you are done, come to us and we can give you the next task.” Dan told him and waved him off, with that the three walked to a nearby table, always keeping an eye on the guy while he packed and unpacked the things and I had to chuckle, this would be fun. But the guy seemed also determined to give us an equally hard time… at least that’s what I think after our first meeting and this scene.

I made sure that the Berry brothers together with Dan were still staying there when I made my way upstairs to see if my little surprise was working.
I stood in the corridor waiting, and exactly on time a young man with a bouquet of flowers walked past me to Avery’s assigned room.
I was just hoping she would be there and not with Maya, but since Shadz disappeared, I bet she is with him anyway.

The door opened and I heard a surprised gasp, I smiled, she didn’t expect that, and wait till she sees that it was from me.
“For me? Wait!” She whispered and the guy held the flowers out to her “Avery Jacobson? Right?” The young man asked her and there was no reply, so I guess she just nodded her head.

“So this is for you. I wish you a nice evening.” The guy said and then turned to leave, the door was still opened, so I slowly walked closer, I saw Avery standing there, her hair down not in that nice elegant bun from earlier and she was wearing a white bathing robe.

Shit please don’t tell me she was about to take a shower, or… wait… the water was running, oh fuck me… she wanted to take a bath… her naked gorgeous body floating in the hot water with bubbles everywhere?

I could already imagine how I would just slip in behind her, the hot water around us, my hands gripping her hips and slowly inching her down on my cock, the water would be sloshing over the tube but I wouldn’t care, all I would care about would be how loud I could make her scream, how I could nibble on her shoulder and kiss her, tasting more of her sweet lips and making her cum, while everybody heard she was with me…

“From who…” I heard her voice and she took the card from the flowers.

“From a secret admirer” Avery smiled but she sounded uncertain “Look up and you find him” She read on and then her eyes met mine.

“Brian.. what…” She looked more than surprised to find me here, did she think that Jason got her the flowers?
Damn, was she that deep invested into him already, I didn’t like that… didn’t like the thought at all.

“Do you like them?” I asked and she looked down on the flowers, I didn’t have much choice in them but I thought they were pretty.
“Yes, they look amazing… but why did you… I mean… what is this about?!” She asked and then looked down on herself only wearing her bathrobe and her cheeks turned bright red and I chuckled.

“I wanted to talk to you… you said it would be okay. Can I come in?” I asked and she looked embarrassed, which was really cute look on her.
“Well… I don’t think that’s a good idea, honestly... I mean…”Avery looked uncomfortable around and I would beg her right now if she would send me away, because I really had to talk to her, I couldn’t postpone it again.

“Please” I finally said taking a small step towards her.
“Okay, but only a few minutes, as you can see… I had other plans.” She said and I nodded.
“Whatever you are willing to give me.” She opened her mouth to reply to me but I guess she got the double meaning so she closed her mouth and blushed even more.

“Take a seat, I will shut the water of real quick.” She vanished into the bathroom and I sat down on her bed, or should I take the chair… I mean, she shouldn’t get the wrong ideas, but on the other hand she shouldn’t think I wasn’t interested too…
Damn it, I got up and sat back down, fuck it. I never behaved this weird before, I should stop it!

“Okay, so…” Avery walked back and stood before me her eyes wandering over my face and then down my body and back up as if she was checking me out and I liked that, a small smile pulling on my lips.

“Can I start right from the beginning, I don’t know if you wanna hear all this, but I think it’s best if I get it off my chest now.” I started and breathed deeply in and out, Avery nodded and I patted the spot on the bed next to me.

She looked at my hand and the bed and after a moment, she must think it was safe and sat next to me, but with a distance that another person could sit between us, so I just moved closer towards her and took her hand, her eyes snapped up to mine, confusion showing in them.

Was she really not aware of the fact, what I wanted to tell her? Was she so clueless?
Maybe I really needed to start this completely different, and I didn’t have much time.. I couldn’t risk Jason to ruin this talk yet again.

“I wanted to apologize… for my behavior after… well… maybe even before we were together that night. We had an amazing evening and night. I loved every second of it and I enjoyed the time with you. I thought that was all that I wanted, you know. Because mostly that’s all that I know… I am not the type of guy to stay for the night… shit.. this is not what I planned to say… listen…” Oh Haner, you are about to fuck up!

She stared at me and my eyes moved down to her lips, if I would lean forward… I could kiss her.
Get your shit together, man… I was here to convince her I wasn’t just interested in that… not only, at least.

“That’s… well… thanks.” Avery looked even more confused now.

“No, no.. don’t get me wrong. I wanted to tell you that I like you, Avery. I know this took me longer to admit and it’s kinda weird for me, too. But seeing you with Jason and knowing you are… I don’t know what you and him are, but knowing you are not with me, that’s not right. Or it doesn’t feel right…
And I want you to know, that I would like to spend more time with you and get to know you. There… that’s what I mean to say.” Not in the best possible way, but I said it finally.

Avery looked at me her mouth slightly open and her eyes not even blinking, come on that wasn’t that much of a shocker, was it?
I stroked my thumb over her palm but she didn’t react.
“Ave? You okay?” I asked softly and she shook her head “No, I don’t… know… what to say.”

I sighed “I know I said this was a one night stand, and I behaved pretty shitty… but I just needed a little longer to realize, that I want more time with you… that this one night, wasn’t enough.”

“But… I don’t get it… why the mood change? I mean after the next night it will be enough, or what?” Avery asked and that was a low blow, right there, but I deserved it probably.

“No… I mean.. I don’t want another night… no that’s not true, of course I want another night, but I also want the day, I want just more time, to see where this could be going with us. I will be honest with you, I haven’t really done this before, but I just wanna try.” I looked into her eyes and hoped she would see that I was honest with her.

And to prove that honesty I would now do something, I haven’t done and don’t know if I could ever do it again, but it was the right thing now.

“I just want you to think about it, I will now leave you to your bath… Good night, Ave.” I leaned towards her and pressed my lips to hers, but before I was too tempted to pull away or intensify I took a step back and left her room.

When I closed the door to Avery’s room, I quickly moved back to my room, cause I knew if I would wait any longer I would storm back in and make her mine, but I had to wait… now I had to wait for her to come to me… right?!

Maya’s POV

I smiled to myself, thinking about the fact that as soon as Matt had the door to his hotel room closed behind us we couldn’t keep our hands from each other, would it be always like that with him?

I knew I wouldn’t get enough of that body and this man in general, I mean… wow… just wow. And he chose me, for however long… he chose me.

I run my hand up and down his naked chest and heard Matt chuckle, “If you keep that up we will never catch some sleep.”

“Do you need sleep?” I playfully asked back and Matt moved so quickly that I didn’t know what happened but he was suddenly atop of me staring down on me with his gentle hazel eyes, and that dimpled smile.
“Not when you are around” He growled and leaned down to kiss me when his phone started blaring.

“Fucking hell…” Matt groaned and let his forehead sink down to mine. “Go ahead, we have all night for more…” I smiled and he nodded, slowly moving away from me and I pulled the blanket up to cover myself.

“It better be good, Vee!” Matt said when he picked up and I chuckled, poor Zack.
“What do you mean? Situation? What situation?!” He groaned in frustration.
“For real? Can’t that wait till tomorrow?” Matt sounded desperate and I grabbed my bra and panties from the floor, it sounded like we had to get up again and I wouldn’t leave him alone, a situation meant that something was up and I wanted to know what it was.

“Fine… I’ll be there in a minute. Yeah… yeah.. fuck you.” With that he hung up and gave me an apologizing look.

“The new guy starts to make trouble, Zack asked me to come down real quick. You can stay here, I will just check out the situation.” Matt got up placing a kiss on my forehead but I shook my head.

“I’m coming with you. I wanna know who that new guy is, and why he is starting to make trouble already.” I said and Matt gave me a weird look.

“We will handle the situation, don’t worry. You don’t have to come along, really. I will only be gone for a second.” Matt tried again but I was already pulling my pants on and a top over my head, while next finger combing my hear and putting fresh lipstick on and checking everything else, I still wanted to look presentable, that’s for sure and if Larry was still around, I had to look… well not fucked, like literally fucked.

“Babe, really-” Okay, now he made me even more curious why he didn’t want me around.
“I’m coming, and that’s the end of it.” I started for the door and Matt sighed loudly.
“Fine, if you insist.”

We took the elevator downstairs and Matt was pulling me close, I refused to kiss him and he tried it even more, I had to smile the entire time, but knew if someone was around who could tell Larry, we had a problem, so I tried to distance myself, but with Matt, that was pretty much impossible.

We arrived downstairs and I saw Zack waiting for us, together with Jason and Matt Berry.
“So what’s the matter?” Matt asked and looked between the three back and forth.
“Sorry to interrupt… your… evening.” Jason winked at me and I chuckled “Don’t worry.”
Matt turned to me “Don’t worry? What the hell, of course they should worry” but he had a small smile on his lips.

“Where is the guy and what trouble are you talking about?” Matt asked and Jason motioned with his head towards the entrance.
“We let him work the entire time, Dan also helped out, we were giving him stupid tasks and fucking around with him, but…” Jason stopped and looked at his brother.
“But he saw Ave and Jason, and sadly that guy is not dumb, he remembered the rule and he… well he wanted to play his cards or else he would tell Larry about it.” Matt Berry said and I saw Matt run a hand over his face.
“Fucking hell, for real? When did he see them? And what did you tell him?” Matt asked and I looked outside but couldn’t see anyone.

“I just said Larry knows, we had to say something, so he wouldn’t run to him right away… well they were here downstairs, and the guy was eyeing Avery… he even wanted to start an argument, wanting to have the backroom and shit, we tried to get into his thick skull, that he is nothing, but… shit that fucker is resistant… I think we need to up our game, and we need to think of something good now.” Matt Berry said and looked at me and Matt but Matt shook his head, what was this about again?

“We will do something tomorrow, when the job really starts, just try to make him work so long that he oversleeps, he won’t be ready, fuck… maybe make him drunk or something, we gotta get rid of him…” Matt said and I saw the frustration on his face.

“Let’s get a drink” Zack said “With something to drink we always can think better” He winked at me and I smiled “Good idea.”
We moved to the bar area, sat down while Matt and Zack walked over to get us some drinks, when I heard Jason groan loudly. I turned around and saw a guy walking towards us.
He had a smug look on his face and I knew he must think he was a god gift to the earth, but as far as I could tell he was the only one thinking that.

“Oh you got new company?” The guy said and looked at me, I saw his eyes move up and down my body, lingering on my breasts longer than necessary, then moving to my lips and staying there too.
I knew Matt didn’t like the plan of me flirting with that guy, but if that was the only option of getting rid of him, hell I would, even though this guy gave me the chills, and not in a good way.

“Yes, you heard Larry tell about our two recent Merch girls. Avery you got to know already, and this is Maya.” Jason introduced me, while Zack and Matt were still at the bar for our drinks so I took the chance to be polite and stepped forward holding my hand out.

He eyed my hand but then stepped forward and pulled me in a hug, his hand moving dangerously near my ass and I knew if Matt saw that, he would be pretty pissed off.

“I heard we are all one big happy Avenged Family, right?” He whispered in my ear and I tried to smile.
“Right, so I’m Maya and your name was?” I asked sweetly while pulling away and his eyes wandered down to my breasts again, he didn’t even try to hide it.

“Francis, really nice to meet you, Maya.” He said and I nodded “Same here… so we need to show you tomorrow how everything works, I guess?” I asked and he chuckled arrogantly.
“You don’t really have to show me how my work is done, this isn’t my first job, but maybe you could teach me something else” He gave me a wink when I felt a presence next to me.

“Are you done already or what?” Matt barked at the new guy and he stood so close to me that I could feel Matt’s body heat seep into me.
I saw Francis eyes move between Matt and me back and forth, so I took a small step away from Matt, which earned me an angry glare from him, but I needed to keep the small chance of how we could get rid of this guy open, even though Matt won’t like it.

“I was just introducing myself to my working partner for tomorrow, she and her sister, right?” Francis looked at me and Jason and I shook my head “My best friend, not sister… not by blood, that is.” I clarified and Francis nodded “Good to know, so I will get back to work… and we will meet again tomorrow, gorgeous.” With that Francis turned away and left us standing there.

I saw Matt take a step forward and Zack held his hand out to stop him “Don’t beat him up yet, Matt. That would be too suspicious for Larry. Let’s wait for that, if we can’t get rid of him by tomorrow, then I know Jimmy will find a way to hide the body…”

So we will have to wait and see what the next day would bring...
