Brian’s POV

I watched the car with Avery, Zack and Jason leave and had a weird feeling. I didn’t know why.
Why was it bothering me that Avery took both Zack and Jason with her, I mean… they wanted to go shopping, since when did Jason go shopping?
Okay, Zack… he liked that kind of shit, getting new ideas and inspirations but still, something was odd.

“You okay, Haner?” Jimmy voice roused me from my thoughts.
“Sure.. why?” I sat back down beside him, sipping on my coffee.
“You don’t look like that, you rather look a little… thrown off. So tell me about it?” Jimmy asked and I hated him sometimes, why did he have this ability to look right through me, could he do that to everyone or was I special?

“Nothing, I just thought it was weird that Jason and Zack going on a shopping trip… since when do they do shit like that… what’s the benefit for them?” I asked the question nagging on me.
Jimmy began to laugh loudly, “Well that’s easy to answer.”

“What?” What was so funny now, and how could it be easy to answer.
“Gates, you really don’t get it, do you?” Jimmy laughed even louder making me frown.
“Apparently not, so spill it.” I was getting annoyed with him.

“You had your fun with the little one, you told everyone it was just a challenge and game for you, so you had her… she is fair game now.” Jimmy shrugged and I narrowed my eyes.
“You mean Jason and Zack are after her?” I asked him and Jimmy leaned back against the steps of the bus.
“Well, I would say so yes. I saw Jason eyeing her the entire time, so you had her… now maybe he wants a shot… Why does that confuse you so much, Brian? Is there more to it then you wanna admit?” Jimmy grinned and I rolled my eyes.

“No, fuck.. I just didn’t know my friends were after her that bad… I mean… I just got out of her bed like literally and now Zack and Jason are on her ass…” I didn’t like that thought one bit, if I had to be honest.

“So you say, you don’t want her anymore?” Jimmy was still poking.
“I wouldn’t like… kick her off my bed when she was still in it, if you mean that.” I chuckled and Jimmy shook his head.

“That’s not what I mean and you know it.”
“Fine.. Like I said… I had her.. goal accomplished, can you now fucking stop this questioning, you make me feel like I’m talking with my Mom or some shit.” I shivered, talking to my Mom about girls, hell to the no.

“So you don’t like the little one?” Jimmy wouldn’t let go.
“I fucked her that has nothing to do with like or not like… I liked to fuck her, that’s all you need to know.” I smirked but felt a little weird saying that, why? Did I like her more than I wanted to admit?

That I was even thinking that meant that Jimmy was confusing me, that was all his fault, he planted seeds in my head.

“Let’s rather talk about the fact that Maya just went off with Shadows and not you, what is that about, Jimbo.” I asked him to distract the topic from me and Avery mostly.

“Nothing, they have a date.” Jimmy shrugged as if it was nothing important making me frown.
“Well… but shouldn’t you be on that date with her or something? I thought you were…” I trailed off lifting my eyebrows but Jimmy shook his head.
“I will back off… have you ever seen that look in Matt’s eyes when he really wants something, but back’s off because he is afraid to hurt one of his friends?” Jimmy asked me and I had to think about that.

“I guess I have… you mean this possessive as fuck look but he still keeps his hands to himself?” I asked him and Jimmy nodded.
“That’s the look when he sees Maya and I backed off. Maya looks like she wants Matt, too so I am not standing in their way, man.” Jimmy said it but I knew Jimmy too well, he didn’t look too thrilled about it.

“You like her?” I asked him after a moment of silence and I couldn’t hide the grin forming on my face but Jimmy just gave me a smirk back.
“I do like her. And believe it or not, Gatesy-poo I can admit that I like a girl, not like a certain other guy sitting right next to me.”
I looked up in the air form one side to the other until his eyes landed on me with a knowing look.

“So no fighting? You just gave up or what? That’s not how I know you, Rev. You seem so comfortable with her and it looked like she likes spending time with you… so what’s the matter behind that? I don’t get it.” I asked him confused.

“Look, I never said I didn’t wanna spend time with her… I just said I backed off. I don’t want any feelings to get too much involved when it’s certain that Maya isn’t ready or hasn’t decided yet. I talked to her this morning, we are cool. I just made certain that I still get my fair share of time with her, even though she wants Shadz in the end. I’m fine… but if Shadz fucks up or it doesn’t work out, I know I still have her… as a friend and as my knife girl, you know.” Jimmy said and what was he talking about?

“Knife girl? What’s wrong with you sometimes? I don’t know where your thoughts are heading to in that genius crazy mind of yours…” I said with a shake of my head.
“So come to the point, you want her as your friend?” I asked getting to the bottom of this weird talk.

“Yeah, that’s about it… I’ll be there for her. I like her… she is special. I’ll keep my eyes on Shadz and well everyone who is around, who wants to fuck with her.. like you know in both ways.” I nodded, alright…

So Maya got herself a new best friend and protector, Jimmy could be really amazing as a best friend but also fucking annoying at some times, so Matt should be aware of that… but maybe after fucking Maya finally he would also be done with that topic…

Zack’s POV

I sat next to Jason in the back of the car, Larry was driving and Avery next to him on the passenger seat.
She still looked so sad, and I felt bad for her, which meant something, cause normally I didn’t feel bad for any of Gates conquers, I mean…

They usually know what they were up to, a good fuck with Syn Gates and then being left alone for the night and well.. their life.

But in Avery’s case it was different, I mean… Brian really took his time to get her, to make her his, he really made a show for her and he wouldn’t let her out of his sight, normally when he set his eyes on a girl he didn’t care so much if any of the other guys were after her too. Normally he didn’t care about a kiss, a touch, but with Avery he kept all of us in a good distance…

So something had been going on with Gates, and maybe I should have a talk to him, I mean.. I really liked this girl, she was none of the usual brainless groupie things, she was fun and witty, she just damn… she was just a little naïve to think Gates… would be any different…

After I talked to her this morning, I promised her I wouldn’t leave her side today, I mean… since she said she and Maya weren’t on such good terms right now, and I could understand, Maya must have known that Gates just wanted that and she pushed Avery into the direction, but in the end it was Avery’s decision and she decided she wanted the night with Gates… and see what that got her.

“We are here.” Larry’s voice interrupted my thoughts and I shook my head.
“Great, what are we doing first?” I asked a little too excited I guess, cause I earned a weird look from Jason, Avery and Larry.

“What? Doesn’t a man like going out with his manager and two friends?” I asked shrugging earning a small laugh from Avery and I liked that, we needed to make her laugh more often.
I looked at Jason from the corner of my eyes and he nodded slightly, apparently getting what I was thinking.

“Come on, sweetie. How about we go grab some breakfast first and then go shopping? What do you say?” Larry asked grabbing Avery’s shoulder and pulling her into his side.

“Okay, Daddy.” Avery sounded not too happy about it and I bet she would have rather quit going on this shopping tour with Larry, but since Maya already quitted she couldn’t say no to her Dad as well.
If she ever…

“You okay with that guys?” Larry turned to us and I nodded “Sure thing, boss.”I nodded and Larry and Avery went first while Jason and I let us fall back a little bit.
“What happened?” Jason asked me quietly.
“What do you think happened?” I asked him as quietly back.
“Gates giving her hopes, fucking her and leaving.” Jason lifted his eyebrows at me and I gave him a curt nod.

“Ding Ding Ding, you got 100 points.” I replied and Jason groaned loudly.
“Can’t that fucker be normal just one time… I mean… hell… He should have told her it was just a onetime thing.” Jason sounded pissed and I sighed.
“You know how he is, he just… thinks everyone knows that. I don’t think he told her this would be like a permanent thing.”
“Sure you gotta defend him…” Jason said rolling his eyes.
“I don’t defend him, I also think it sucks leaving her like that… I mean, she didn’t deserve this. I will keep my eyes open so she won’t get herself in that trouble again.” I was determined to do that, and I felt Jason’s eyes on me from the side, what was that about?

“I guess she learned that lesson now the hard time, but it will be awkward with those two in one room, you know.. or bus…” Jason said and I nodded.

I had to try and keep her distanced from Gates, he tends to do some stupid jokes afterwards or flirting, only meaning to not follow up again, because he had her… so I had to spare her of that.

“How about, you help me keep her some company and away from Gates until the situation is a little calmer?” I asked Jason and he got a smile on his face “Sure thing.”
“What are you discussing so importantly, that you let us wait so long?” Larry asked me and Jason waiting at the door of that little bakery to let us in.

“Just you know, band stuff…nothing important.” I replied with a reassuring smile and Larry lifted an eyebrow at us as if he wasn’t buying my shit, okay fine, he was our manager for too long now, he knew us better.

“Fine, if you must know, the girl that walked past us, that had some fine ass… I mean… hell I would like to take a bite out of that one.” I smirked and Larry rolled his eyes “You guys are the worst.”
“Well, we are just guys… what can ya do.” I shrugged and Jason chuckled beside me.

“I’m glad that I am having a daughter and not such dickheads as sons, well even though you kinda making me feel like a furious dad as certain time.” Larry said chuckling and I bit my cheek, if he would know about Gates and his precious daughter, we would definitely see his furious side, so better keep that book closed.

Maya’s POV

I looked outside of the cab’s window, and enjoyed the ride we were taking. Matt haven’t told me where we were going for the date or if he was just winging it, but I liked that it was more of a surprise and more exciting this way.

His hand rested on my thigh and he stroked it softly, his hands felt way too good on me and I had told Jimmy the truth, I really liked Jimmy and the time we shared had been nothing but fun, but somehow Matt made me feel so different and I had to go after it and find out what this was about.

I didn’t mean to hurt Jimmy and as it seemed he had already known that, and that he still wanted me around him and would still search the contact with me was meaning the world to me.
Besides Avery I didn’t have that much people who cared for me and I needed this close contact, I needed someone to touch and hold me, just to be there, he didn’t really have to say much, just sitting there and in silence was fine with me.

And since Avery was not talking to me right now, I needed another friend even more, I would go to her later on… I knew why she was pissed and I understood her, but in the end I didn’t shove her into the bed with Brian and locked the door up, it was her all by herself, sure I told her to have fun and let go… but I didn’t think she would hope for more… and if Gates wanted to admit it or not, he liked my best friend and if he didn’t it was his freaking loss, asshat.

“You okay?” Matt’s voice sounded next to my ear and I turned my face to him, and all the angry thoughts vanished, and I just saw these kissable plump lips.
“Now, I’m more than okay.” I leaned into him more and Matt turned me around, his lips capturing mine and damn, he tasted so good, I closed my eyes and just let him guide, his tongue slipped into my mouth and I suppressed the moan wanting to escape.

“Hmmhhmm…” A voice sounded from the front and I gently pushed away from Matt, smirking, the driver was looking at us in the review mirror.
“We are here.” He said but had a knowing grin on his face and I lifted my eyebrow.
“Okay, well… let’s go out.” Matt said, paying the cabby and readjusted his pants and I smirked at him, I liked to have this effect on him.
“What… It’s not my fault that you are so freaking hot.” He said and showed me his dimples.

“So tell me, Mr. Sanders… where are you taking me today?” I asked and stood close before him, he was so tall that I had to crank my neck up to look at his face.

“I haven’t been to Dallas that often before, and I didn’t have much time to prepare but I thought about a little something, I hope you will enjoy it… well and me.” He chuckled and I grinned, he pulled my hand in his and started to walk beside the street.

“Will you tell me now, what you thought of or is this a guessing game?” I asked and Matt held his hand before my lips to silence me.

“We are almost there.” He said and guided me into a park.
I saw the sign saying ‘Klyde Warren Park’ and frowned, he wanted to sit in a park with me?

“You don’t look too thrilled, do you?” Matt asked still smiling and I rolled my eyes at him.
“I am just excited what you got for me, that’s all.” I said and he guided me into the park and I had to admit it was beautiful here, it was still early and not many people were around, so we had nearly everything to us, we grabbed a coffee and a bagel on one of the small food trucks and moved on.

“How about we play a little game?” Matt asked and I lifted my eyebrow at him.
“You know I like to play a game… what you got for me?” I asked him and he motioned over to the minigolf course and I had to laugh.
“You really mean that do you? Playing minigolf?” I asked him and he grinned, he laid his arm around my waist, guiding me towards it.
“I wanna play with you and the winner gets to choose what we do next, how does that sound?” Matt asked and I felt his hand move from my waist down to my ass squeezing and I jumped forward.

“That is not really nice, Shadz. I haven’t played minigolf or any golf before, and I know you Mister like to play with the boss every chance you got.” I pointed my finger at him and he grabbed my hand pulling me close to him, “Maybe I can teach you at the first lane, how it’s done and then may the better player win?” He asked before he pulled me in for another of his hot kisses.

“Alright, let’s do it.” I pulled away from the kiss a little breathless and was glad to see Matt was also breathing heavier, I certainly had an idea of what I wanted to do after this date, so I better made sure I would win.

I looked at Matt who went over to the little booth getting our bat and balls, he let one ball drop and I looked at his fine ass, god… this man really had me… I wanted him real bad, and Jimmy’s words came back to my mind… ‘Shadows babe…’ I grinned, well for today and tonight I would certainly be one, that was sure, and I was glad I had this talk with Jimmy before hand and couldn’t wait to tell him afterwards how it went, I bet Avery didn’t wanna know any about it…

“For you.” Matt handed me the bat and one ball, but when I wanted to take it out of his hands he pulled away grinning.
“What do I get for that?” He leaned down holding his cheek out to me, I rolled my eyes, grabbed his chin in my hand and pressed my lips to his, and soon Matt dropped the bats and ball and grabbed my waist pulling me into him, then gently pushed me away, looking me in the eyes “We better get this game done quickly… I have other things in my mind for you.”

“That really sounds promising, maybe I want you to win.” I gave him a half smile and we moved to the first lane. I wasn’t joking when I said I haven’t played this before so Matt began showing me what to do.

He scored with the first ball and I sighed, this was not a game I would win, but I would have as much fun as I could get right?

“Will you show me how it’s done? I mean it’s only fair, right?” I asked him and Matt nodded, he set his bat aside and moved behind me.
His arms were around my body, I felt him so close that I wiggled my butt in his crotch making him groan, oh yes this would definitely be fun.

“You gotta hold it like this” Matt put his hands on top of mine, his face was next to mine, while we swung the stick and damn, I didn’t wanna ever let go, this was feeling way too good.
I looked at Matt from the side and he looked so concentrated it was too cute, he really liked these kind of games, huh?

Let’s see how I could tease him on the next lane, because with Matt’s help my first ball was also in the hole with this one shot.

After about an hour we only had two more lanes to go and were nearly head to head. I tried everything to distract him, and even though Matt tried really hard not to let me fool him, he couldn’t keep his eyes of me, which encouraged me even more.

He hit the ball and again in the hole with one shot, I followed but needed one more shot them him, so everything was about the last hole.
“Will you tell me now, what we will do if you win?” I asked innocently while Matt placed his ball on the point.

“Nope, surprise.” He took his place and it was just an amazing view, this big hunk of a man, with all these tattoos and dark clothes playing minigolf like a pro.

“Come on… tell me.” He looked quickly up to me with a grin and shook his head.
“No way, and you will know soon enough, if I get this shot done, you cannot win anyway.” He grinned and I narrowed my eyes, he was right.

I walked over to the end of the lane bending over, letting him have a good view of my cleavage and I saw Matt stop his swinging motion. “It’s not that hard, is it?”

“Huh?” Matt replied and when I looked up I saw his eyes still on my breasts.
“The hole, it’s not that hard to fill… I think you would manage to fill it really good.” I said and chuckled lightly.

“What? Fill? Hole?” Matt swallowed and I grinned even more “Will you? Now?”
“I.. yes.” He positioned himself again and I saw him looking at me and back at the hole, he seemed not really concentrated and I laughed.
“That’s your fault, talking about holes and filling… what am I suppose to think? I’m still just a man.” He said and put a good spin on the ball and it hit the hole with one shot, damn… he was really good.

“I won, now let’s go.” Matt quickly walked over to me, and I laughed “I haven’t even made my final-”
“I don’t care, you cannot win anymore… and I want my prize now.”He said and looked like he wanted to throw me over his shoulder “So where are you taking me?” I asked him excited.
“I rented us a hotel room.”
