I couldn’t believe what Matt just did. I had seen through his plan right away, and knew why he got me away from Avery and I liked that, liked that he planned to spend time with me.
Hell, I was flattered that he noticed my work on the shirts and wanted to have my ideas on his wardrobe even though I already knew that it was just a show.

He wanted me that was clearly written over his face and hell I had wanted him. When I had his shirt off showing off that muscular chest and abs, letting my fingers run over his skin and tattoos, my knees were getting weak.

“Why did he upset you?” Jimmy asked and I rolled my eyes, I didn’t like he knew that much.
“He was playing with me, I didn’t like that. I don’t wanna get into any details, this is kinda weird talking to you about.” I said but it didn’t feel weird to talk to him, not even about this, why was that?!

“You can tell me… I will ask him anyway.” Jimmy said also matter of fact and I sighed again, starting to tell how Matt acted when suddenly the door was pulled open and a giggling Avery and an annoyed looking Brian stood in the door.

What happened with those two?

Brian’s POV
I couldn’t believe what my best friend did to me?! He knew I had plans for tonight and somehow I couldn’t lose the feeling that he had been doing that on purpose, like he didn’t want me to get my plan done.

What was going on with him and Avery? She was lying in his lap as far as I fucking knew when I walked into the freaking room.
And he had given her not only amounts of alcohol as the shot glasses that were standing on the table near them were any indicator but she had a joint.

He freaking made her high… why would she be so carefree around him and so distanced towards me?!
What the fuck was that about? Should I have a talk with Zacky about her again, I thought I made myself pretty clear that she was mine and off limits for any of the other guys.
We normally didn’t call dibs on girls, but maybe I had to remind my best friend of who he was fucking here with.

But right now had to get Avery back into the bus and away from all these people…
I had lifted her up from Zack and the couch and into my arms, I was walking away from the party when I heard a yell after me “Take good care of her, she is my drinking buddy now.”
“Drinking buddy, my ass” I muttered under my breath when I felt Avery snuggle closer in my arms.
Was she already asleep?

“I feel safe in your arms, will you carry me more often?” She asked and I smiled down on her, “If you would let me.”
“But I also like to look at you, walking away from me” She continued as if I hadn’t said anything and I frowned.

“Why that?” I asked her and she began to giggle, her arms slung around my neck and she pulled me down, I placed my ear near her mouth and she whispered “You have a very sexy ass and I was thinking about it a time or two, but sssshhhh… don’t tell that to Brian.”

I stopped at the bus and opened the door I looked at Avery and she wiggled her body in my arms, I let her down on her feet but she nearly fell into the table beside us so I put my hands on her waist to steady her again.

She leaned back into my body, smiling up to me “Oh is that what I think it is?” Avery asked and I took a small step back, I couldn’t help it that my cock wasn’t listening to me, he was already wanting to get attention, but I knew nothing would be happening here with a high as fuck Avery. “What’s going on with her?” Maya asked a little concerned and Jimmy grinned at me. He handed Maya his shirt and she quickly pulled it over her head and moved over to Avery, before she could take her out of my arms I leaned my head down a little and kissed her temple while saying quietly “I’m going to come for you tomorrow, better be ready.” Then I handed her of and Maya was tugging her into the bed.
“Well she is high as fuck and drunk, too. Thanks to Zack, I just wanted to bring her home… and get her to bed safely, she needs to sleep it off. Come on, Jimbo… We better leave them alone now.”

Jimmy looked a little reluctant, but Maya nodded and was already quietly talking to Avery who was laughing at something and Maya couldn’t hide the smile on her face, too.
She looked a little proud at Avery, if I had to interpret her face and that made me confused, I really wished she wouldn’t be high and drunk at the moment, because I had so many better things in my head right now.

Jimmy pulled his boxers and pants on, leaving the shirt with Maya, pecking her lips quickly and whispering something to her but I already walked out, knowing he would follow soon. I would head off to find Zack now, he wouldn’t get away that easily…

“Damn, Gates… so Zack stole your girl this time and put her to the sideline?” Jimmy jogged after me while still buttoning up his pants.

“Yeah, that fucker. I’m going to find him right now, to have a talk.” I stormed back to the party seeing Zack where I left him, but before I could get my hands on him Jimmy stepped forward “Vee, you know where Shadz is?” He asked and Zack raised a brow at Jimmy “Where’s your shirt?”
“With Maya, you know where he is?” Jimmy asked again. “No, was here for a while but then left… you should find him tomorrow…” With that Jimmy nodded and walked away, while grabbing himself a drink.

I finally got my hands on Zack, I grabbed his collar lifting him up of the couch making him look at me wide eyed. “What the fuck, dude? You are crinkling up my shirt!” He complained but I didn’t give a fuck, I just dragged him outside with me.

“You better tell me what’s wrong with you? Why did you get her drunk like that and smoke pot? You knew I planned to seduce her, what’s gotten into you? Normally, you are my wingman not the guy ruining my plans!” I got into his face and Zack’s red eyes stared back at me.

“I just wanted to loosen her up a little, she did some shots, no harm done… I didn’t mean to ruin your evening, oh great Synyster Gates. I just wanted to have some fun and Avery was there, she’s a funny girl, we talked and one thing led to another.” I lifted my eyebrow “One thing led to another? What the fuck does that mean now?!” I got even more into his face. “Do I have to tell you again that she is off-limits, Vee. I want her and none of you guys get to have their hands on her, am I clear now?”

Zack had the nerve to roll his eyes at me “I didn’t see her that way, Gates. I heard you and your obsession of having her first, alright… Maybe you should just think about the fact that she is not one of your groupie fan-girls, she maybe doesn’t want the one-night shit, alright…” Zack’s voice was slow and it took him nearly 5 minutes to get this sentence out.

I rubbed a hand down my face “You will get another chance.” He clapped my back and turned around before leaving again “Is she safe in bed?”
“Why would you want to know that?” I asked a little suspicious again.
“I got her high and drunk, I’m the one responsible she is safe, should I check on her?” He asked already turning into the direction and where did this concern for her safety come from, normally Zack didn’t give a shit about what happened. I really had to keep an eye on this fucker, but tonight in his state it wouldn’t get me far.

I grabbed his arm before he moved away “She is in bed, Maya is with her taking care. You stay here or better go to your own bed, we are leaving tomorrow for the next destination.” I reminded him and he nodded.

“Goodnight” Zack mumbled and walked off into the direction of our bus. I looked at the remaining party people but couldn’t find any of my friends there anymore so I decided to head in too. What I still wanted to know was why Jimmy had been searching for Matt? What was going on between these two? Anyway, Jimmy had reached his goal and seemed pretty satisfied with himself, I wanted that feeling too…

I sighed heavily on how fucked up this day ended, but tomorrow a new one began and I would get a new chance…
And this time I wouldn’t let anything or anyone come between it, that’s for sure..
