At the end of the day, Matt wanted to hear an acoustic song from me. So I sucked up my own troubles and grief and pulled out Mikey's Acoustic. I decided to sing Imagine Dragons' Demons. After playing all of our originals I wanted to do a cover.

I let my heart pour out into this song. I finally realized that I could do this and that Kyle would have wanted me to do it. The guitar in my hands felt so good and I wanted to play and sing all day long. I wanted to show everyone what I have. I opened my eyes and locked onto MIkey's who smiled widely, silently applauding me.
I blushed and stood up, putting the guitar down. Tonight I was going to have a talk with the band. I was going to kick Adam out of the band.

That night after going back to the hotel I called the guys down to the lobby to have a discussion with them.
I talked to Mikey earlier that day about what was going to happen, he told me that I was going to stay in his room tonight because he knew that Adam wasn't going to take the news very well. I watched as one by one the guys walked in and sat down in the lobby chairs waiting for me or MIkey to begin talking. I cleared my throat and began:
"Okay, everyone, I have something I want to say and mostly everyone is going to be ecstatic." I breathed in deeply before continuing, "Adam, I know I speak for everyone when I say we want you out of the band." I finished and watched in horror as Adam came at me in fury. I flinched and screamed as he picked me up and threw me down on the floor. He began to hit my face, repeatedly. By the time the guys got him off of me I was nearly unconscious and was carried to a car and driven to the hospital.
I was in and out the whole way there with Mikey cooing sweet things into my ear. Petting me on the head.
