Underneath the Mask

THe next morning I woke up to Adam pacing around the room on the phone.
"Yeah, it's pretty cool, I'm glad I'm here, you should have come. Yeah, I know you had things to do, people to see." Adam had a slightly irritated voice going on. He was probably talking to his sister, Adalynn. She was just as cruel and hateful as he was. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and sat up in the bed, watching him pace back and forth.
"Okay, so I'll talk to you later? Awesome, bye." He took the phone away from his ear and jumped a little after noticing I was awake, MOrning." He mumbled, walking into the bathroom and slamming the door. I sighed and pushed the covers away from my sweat soaked body. I wasn't used to the climate here in California, it was weird.
A knock suddenly came at the door, making me jump. I made my way to the door and opened it wide.
"Ollie! Good morning!" Justin exclaimed, wrapping me in a large hug and spinning us around. After he set me down he looked me up and down, "Maybe you should get some clothes on the guys-" Before he could finish Corey, Mikey, Stefan and the guys of Avenged Sevenfold walked up.
Now, let's get this straight, I'm completely comfortable with my body. I'm not fat by all means, I keep myself on a strict diet and I work out a lot. So when the guys came up, I didn't try to hide. I'm sure they've seen a girl more naked before. I wore a white crop top and a pair of panties.
"Ollie! You're awake!" Stefan yelled, probably waking up the whole hotel. I shushed him as he wrapped me in a hug. What's with all the hugs. Next was Mikey and Corey who wrapped me in a tangle of very large arms, nearly cutting off my air.
"My turn!" Brian exclaimed, grabbing me up and spinning me around. I was starting to get dizzy. After he set me back down I almost fell to the floor. Adam came up behind me and wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me close. I mentally flinched at his touch.
"Hey guys, babe why don't you go get dressed, you're coming with us to the studio, we're starting to play today." Adam suggested, pushing me away from the door behind him, probably to hide me from everyone. I yawned and got dressed, letting my hair flow free in it's natural curls. I put a little bit of make up on and slipped on some shoes before walking downstairs to meet up with all the guys. THey all sat around in the lobby laughing and joking, except for Matt and Adam who stared silently at each other until they noticed me. Adam stood up and came over to me, placing his arm back around my waist,
"Okay everyone, let's go."

At the studio I set up my guitar like I usually do, of course pissing off Adam in the process by tuning my guitar right behind him near his ear and waited to be told what to do.
"Okay guys, lets do a slow song. I want hear that first." George, the studio worker said to us through the glass. I looked at Adam and asked what he wanted to do.
"LEt's do My IMmortal by Evanescence." He said, pushing me towards the microphone. I hesitated, looking back at MIkey who gave me a thumbs up. I then looked back forward and saw Stefan aiming his camera at us and smiling about the song choice. Corey began playing the piano, making my nerves shoot up my spine and into my head. I wasn't ready for this. I can't do this. I turned around to tell Adam but he glared at me, his nostrils flared as he pointed at the front, mentally telling me to turn back around. Which I obeyed. I looked out into the studio and saw the Avenged guys who stood around the window waiting. I made eye contact with Matt who had his arms crossed and a ghost of a smile on his face.
"I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears

BY the end of the song I was shaking horribly, I wiped my sweaty hands on my pants and turned away from everyone, grabbing my guitar. No one said anything we just continued onto the next song. Throughout the studio time, I looked away from everyone and answered no questions. I hated rejection and disappointment.
Adam wasn't too happy about the fact that I ignored everyone for the rest of the day. He was pissed when I didn;t give him my approval of the songs he sang. I wasn't ready for today. There was no way I could kick Adam out of the band.
