I woke up the next day with an hangover like always, I remembered the room that I was sleeping in, Jimmy's guest room. I looked at my phone, it was already 2 o' clock in the afternoon. I knew he was awake, I could hear the television playing into the living room. I stood up and went downstairs. Jimmy was laying on the couch watching his favorite movie Jacob's Ladder for a thousand time. He looked at me and said.

"Morning!" He paused the movie and stood up to join me in the kitchen.

"Good morning.." I said with my voice really low. I opened his fridge and took myself a bottle of water. I never got used to drink water but I knew it would help me to get rid of this stupid hangover. Jimmy sat on the counter and said.

"There's something we forgot to tell you.."

"What?" I said as I finished the whole bottle of water.

"It's about Hayley." He said, waiting for a reaction from my part.

"Not about her again? Oh please I don't want to hear anything anymore.." I said as I crunched the bottle of water into my hands and threw it in the recycle bin.

"You have to know that. We are throwing a party tonight to welcome her back home.."

I looked in front of me, outside the window, the day was cloudy and it was about to rain. I didn't know what to answer to this. Welcoming home party? Why? How? She's just gonna go back again like she did before. I looked at Jimmy.

"Why? She probably isn't going to stay long.. You know her. " I said calmly, trying to make him understand who she is.

"She is. She's moving in an appartment not far from here."

Fuck. That means I will see her more often that I would like too. I felt my neck becoming warm. I was angry but I didn't want to show it to him. But he could tell that's for sure.

"Why are you all doing this for her?!" I asked as I opened the water and put some onto my neck.

"She was our friend too. Don't you remember?"

He was right. I almost forgot about it. There was no choice anymore. I would see her again, even tho I didn't want to.

"Where is it going to be?" I sighed.

"Your dad's house.. Everyone's going to be there. He really wishes you to be there too.."

I didn't have choices to go, my dad wouldn't leave me home alone that was sure. I sighed and cracked my knuckles. So it was now real, she was going to stay.

"I'll be there. Only for him, not for her." I said to him, still not looking at his face.

"Don't you remember what you said yesterday?" I looked over at him. I hesitated, what was he talking about? I shrugged.

"What?"

"You said you still love her man.. Maybe on the moment, you both are fucked up but I'm sure soon or later, you'll get in a bed and you will be making love to her and.." He was smiling the whole time.

"Oh shut the fuck up. This ain't gonna happen and you fucking know it." I cut him, I didn't want to hear anything of that anymore, but I knew in a way I wished it happened.. NO! What the fuck am I saying, get back to yourself Brian!

"Anyway!" He stood up and clapped his hands. "Get ready, we have to go soon."

"What the fuck dude, I just fucking woke up!" I said as I didn't understand him always rushing everything.

"Yeah, not my problem, it's still 2 o' clock!" He said as he rushed himself upstairs, probably to get ready. I sighed one more time and went back into the guest room.

After taking a quick shower and got myself ready, Jimmy drove me home reason to have fresh clothes, which was not really true. I just took the first pair of pants that I saw onto the ground and the first t-shirt that was laying onto my couch. I hurried up, getting a little bag of cocaïne that I got 2 days ago and tossed it into my pocket. I knew I wouldn't handle the evening without my favorite little powder. I went back into Jimmy's car and we headed to my dad's house. As soon as I opened the door, I noticed all the decoration and welcome home signs onto he walls, looking like a child birthday.. I sighed an other time, my dad came into the living room, suprised to see me there.

"Oh Brian, you scared me yesterday.. I'm happy to see you're okay.." He said as he hugged me. "I'm happy that you're there!" He smiled to me, I just nodded. I knew it was really important for him. And I was there only for him, not for her.

"I'm almost done fixing everything!" He said to us, I just removed my shoes and went to sit onto the couch.

I looked over at my dad and Jimmy talking to each others.

"Where is she?" Jimmy asked to my dad.

"Suzy brang her shopping! You know how girls like shopping.. They won't be there soon."

False, Hayley always hated shopping. I thought into my head.

"Alright, then we have time!" He said to my dad.

I surprised myself thinking about the time we went out shopping for christmas gifts and we ended up buying some lingerie together. She looked so gorgeous, her curves and her long hair...

"Brian?!"

I looked at my dad fast and shook my head, wanted to put that memory out of my head.

"What? Sorry, I was thinking about.. something."

"Looked like something pretty serious!" My dad laughed.

"No, not really anyway, what?" I asked to him as I stood up and reached the fridge.

"I just wanted to know if you were staying sleeping here?"

"Mm.. I guess so." I said not really there, still thinking about her in that pink sexy lingerie.
