Hush, be careful of what you say

Matt POV

Right now we’re at the studio, all of us except of Arin. Complete silence is haunting this room – I can actually hear a mosquito flying around. And it is fucking irritating me.
Until it came next to me and I clapped my hands together to kill it. Fucking serves it right!
No-one said a thing when I did this, they just stared at me. So I decide to get up, wash my hands and go back to my place. I sit down once more, waiting with complete patience.

“What time is it?” Zacky says quietly but still he managed to break the silence.
“It’s two in the afternoon” Johnny answers him back.
I sigh. We were supposed to meet here an hour ago. Arin is never late, he is the early type of guy. So this is not good news, not at all.
I haven’t spoken to Brian since yesterday. Once Arin left the house, we all went to our own place without saying a thing, leaving Zacky alone.
I was pissed off at how Brian was reacting, and I still am. That is why I have decided to not say a word.
I remember that Arin told Zacky that he has to send message him today!
“Did Arin text you or something? Maybe call?” I ask him.
“Nope. Not one text. I have left him some, I even tried calling him, but all for nothing” Zacky replies as he stares at the phone just to check.

“Uhm, I have been thinking whether to say this or not for the past hour or so. But can someone fill me in? What the fuck is going on?!” Johnny says out of the blue.
“What is going on? We’re waiting for Arin” Zacky responds back, obviously trying to get off topic.
“No dumbass. Something else is going on, there is complete silence. That never happened before. I can smell trouble!” Johnny says as he looks at us.
Naturally I look at Brian and he looks back at me, both of us knowing what he’s asking about.
“Maybe you want to fill me in Brian” Johnny asks again.
“There’s nothing going on short shit” he says. But under his breath he continues, “Just utter bullshit!”
“Bullshit my ass!” I reply in an instant. I have been trying to avoid from getting into this argument once more, but now I need to.
“It is bullshit Matt! You were the one talking out of place, complete bullshit. You are the one who had to defend yourself, complete bullshit!” Brian replies, his eyes glued to mine.

“You’re calling all that bullshit?!” I reply, anger going through my veins.
“Guys quit it!” Zacky tries, but all for nothing.
“Let me tell you what is complete bullshit”, I continue. “That you didn’t stop the argument, you had to continue stating or proving your point when Arin was already pissed off. What’s bullshit is that you are pissed that I have admitted you didn’t want to tell him. Don’t be a pussy. I admit I was drunk and I couldn’t control what to say, that is not my fault! But damn, I am man enough to admit that I made a mistake not telling him earlier, cos he sure is upset about it. Why do you think he hasn’t shown up here yet?” “Sorry to break it to you buddy, but I wasn’t going to lie to a friend of mine. If I think in a particular way, I’m going to prove my point – whether you like it or not. He didn’t like it? Too fucking bad! If he comes here and expects me to change my perspective, it’s not going to happen” Brian replies.

“And all of this is about….”Johnny asks, still lost over what is happening.
“Someone wanted to drug Arin’s drink and these two decided not to tell him” Zacky yells in frustration.
“Dudes! What the hell is wrong with you two?!” Johnny tells us as he stands up.
“Not you too Johnny!” Brian says in frustration as he puts his hands to his face.
“Johnny, not now!” I agree with Brian.

At that instance, I hear a mobile going off. It’s Zacky’s phone. So he brings out his phone and as he starts reading the text message he got, his expression change completely. By the end he looks kind of disappointed.
“What is it?” Johnny asks him.
Zacky says nothing as he re-reads the text that he got.
“Is it Arin?” Brian asks.
“No, it’s the hacker”


Brian POV

“What do you mean it’s the hacker Zacky?” Matt snaps.
“Well, I think it’s the hacker, I’m not sure” Zacky says slowly.
I grab Zacky’s phone and notice that there is a new number and the text message says “I win, you lose. As predicted!”
Quickly I dial that same number and phone this asshole.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” I yell.
“What is it Brian?” Johnny asks me.
“The number does not exist. They managed to get rid of it, too fucking quickly!”
How the hell is that possible?! In a couple of minutes?! And how in the hell did she manage to get your phone number?” Matt asks.
“I don’t know, and I don’t know. But I agree with Zacky, most probably this message is from the hacker”.
“But what does she mean by the winning, losing parts? What is she talking about?” Zacky asks us.
“I don’t know….” I begin to say but I’m soon interrupted by Matt.
“You remember that time when we got a message written on our van?! There was written that if Arin quits the band, does something band, suicide…anything of such sort, that would be the day that she’ll win!”

“So what do you think Arin did from those mentioned?” Johnny asks quietly.
“I’m not sure. But, he’s not answering his phone!” Zacky says in a concerned tone.
“You don’t think….” Johnny starts.
“No way! No way! Johnny you can’t think like that! He wouldn’t do such a thing. Ending his life?! No way!” Matt says in astonishment.
But none of us are too convinced.
Something must have happened. And the hacker knows about it.
“The hacker has something to do with this. She did something, or else she wouldn’t have sent us that text!” I explain.
“What are you thinking about Haner?” Matt asks me.
“Whatever Arin had decided to do, the hacker was present. She had to be somewhere near. Or she did something to him”

At that instance I see Zacky dials a number and putting the phone to his ears.
“He is still not answering his damn phone! I’m worried that something bad happened to him”
“Guys don’t think that way. Maybe he decided to quit the band and for now he is ignoring our phone calls. It’s quite normal to do that” Matt tries to reassure us.
“Or maybe she managed to drug him or something!” Johnny says.
“I said don’t think that way Johnny! He didn’t hurt himself! And he isn’t hurt!” Matt raises his voice, a bit pissed at the way we are thinking right now.

“Now get off those damn chairs and let’s go and find him. First of all you’re going to see that he’s alright, and secondly we’re not going to let him leave the band. He doesn’t have to give in to this jerk, not now, not ever!” Matt says. “Come on, what the hell are you waiting for?! We need to go, now!”

So sorry haven't been around lately, lots of trouble to log in! But finally I managed to be back! :D

So, what do you think is going on? What happened to Arin? Is the hacker involved? And I think it's about time that the guys calm down for a while, no?
