Zacky's POV

I was driving Renae to work. I had just spent the morning with her and now I'm taking her places. This has got to be my lucky day. We sat there quietly as I drove. I looked over at her and she was staring out the window. I took her hand into mine and held it. “What are you thinking about?”

She shrugged. “Just stuff. I thought the past would be gone and away from me but it seems it's slowly haunting me.” She took one look at me before looking back outside. I gently squeezed her hand. I was about to say something when we stopped at the music store and saw a fight happening before our eyes.

I stopped the car and turned it off, getting out to see what was going on. I looked closely and noticed it was our band's drummer & my friend Arin...and...is that Ben from Breaking Benjamin? I hurried over to where they were at. Renae followed behind me.

I went over and pulled Arin off of him. Ben tried to come after him again but I put my hand up to stop him. “Back up dude. This needs to stop.” Arin was behind me out of breath and had a gash on his face.

Renae was standing there and walked over to Arin, hugging him. He hugged her back. “Are you ok?” I heard her ask him quietly. He nodded then walked back to his car, leaning against it.

She slowly looked over at Ben and walked a little passed me, standing in front of him. She turned her head up to look at him. She looked tiny compared to him which I thought was cute. Okay snap out of it, Zack.

“What the fuck is wrong with you? You just HAD to come around and try to ruin my life again like you did that day? And to top it, beat up my own best friend? Get over yourself Ben and move on.” She yelled to him.

I was slowly trying to piece everything together. Was this the same ex-boyfriend she had a dream about? The one that cheated that her? I felt myself clenching my fists.

Ben wiped the blood from his lip with the back of his hand, walking forward. Renae took a step back. “Renae come on, I miss you and I know you miss me.” I saw her raised an eyebrow at him.

“HA please. You were long gone from my mind when you cheated on me with rhino plastic face over there.” I looked passed him and saw a blonde chick come out of the car.

She was about to say something but Ben stopped her. He smiled and threw a small box to her. “Maybe this will change you mind.” He blew her a kiss before pulling the blonde with him back to his car.

Was he really trying to get her to take him back? From what it looked like he was already dating someone. Unless he's just using her and will let her go once he has Renae back in his arms again. I'm going to have to put a stop to it.

Renae's POV

What the hell just happened? First I bumped into him at the music store a few days ago and now I come to work at this exact music store to see him fighting Arin. I bent down and picked up the small box. I stared at it a while, shaking a little. What the hell is in this box and why did he want to give it to me?

I was snapped out of my thoughts when felt arms being wrapped around me. I sighed in relief and hugged Zacky for a minute. I pulled away and walked over to Arin who was doing first aid on the gash on his face.

“Are you okay? What happened?” He shook his head. “That dumb ass thinks he can win you back. Apparently he doesn't know the meaning of you two being over.” I gave him a kiss on the cheek and smiled. “Thanks for defending my honor.” I giggled.

He laughed and got into his car. “No problem. I should hurry up and get home. The food's getting cold and the shakes are melting.” He bumped fists with Zacky before driving off.

I turned around to look at Zacky. “Well now you know my ex-boyfriend's the lead singer of Breaking Benjamin.” He looked at me for a moment before pulling me close to him.

“I'm not letting him take you away from me.” He whispered into my ear before pulling me into a kiss. Thank goodness I'm only working for 4 hours today. I can sit at home and be lazy the rest of the day!

“Well I should head in and start cleaning up while organizing some stuff.” I sighed and walked into the store. “I'll help you.” He said starting to grab a broom. I smiled and began to go grab the vacuum cleaner. It took about an hour or so to clean up the mess but we did it.

I was putting away things when he walked over to me. “I have to head to the studio. I'll come by to pick you up later if that's okay?” I nodded to him.

“Sure, see ya later.” He kissed my hand then walked out and over to his car. I watched him as we drove off and I waved. I held my right hand that he kissed close to me and sighed in content. After the incident that just happened an hour go, it feels like it's going to be a long day.

Emilia's POV

I finally found the perfect dress to wear! It was a nice purple sleeveless dress with some lace on the bodice. The dress came up to my knees. I found my bra and panties, slipping them on before I pulled on the dress. I fixed my hair up in a bun and had some of my bangs wave down on the sides of my face.

As I was about to put on some makeup, I heard the doorbell ring. I walked out of my room. “Come on in! You know where the key is.” I yelled downstairs to the door. I hope it was Brian. If not, well I can kick the person's ass if I don't know them.

I went back to putting my makeup on. Thin layer of eyeliner, some mascara, a little hint of dark eyeshadow to give me the smokey eye, and red lipstick. The scratches on my face were not as bad as before which is good.

I walked out of my room and headed down the stairs. I turned and saw Brian standing there with some flowers and a small box in his hand. He smiled when he saw me.

“Wow you look beautiful.” He said walking over to me. He was wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt with black pants and brown shoes. He looked like a total rock star. Well the way his hair looked anyway. Short on the sides, long at the top and combed back.

I smiled as he handed me the flowers and box. “Go ahead and opened it.” I did and was in awe. It was a necklace that has a red heart hanging from it with a few diamond like stone on it.

He took it out of the box and walked behind me, putting the necklace on me. He walked back in front of me and grinned. “Looks great on you.” I turned to the mirror that was near the door and smiled.

It looked magnificent. I slipped on some black heels and followed him out the door. He held my hand as we walked down the stairs and to his car.

When the car stopped, I looked outside. We were at the beach again. Only this time there was a table with 2 chairs and set out with candles & a bottle of wine in ice inside a bucket next to the table. Brian got out and opened my door.

I stepped out and followed him onto the sand. He pulled out my seat and I smiled at him before sitting down. He hurriedly sat down in the other chair across from me.

Brian pulled out the wine from the bucket and poured it into 2 wine glasses. He reached down and pulled out something from a bag. It was roasted chicken with macaroni and cheese.

I giggled to myself realizing that he probably cooked the food. It was cute. We started eating the food off our plates and wow, it was delicious! This guy can cook.

We both finished off our food. I noticed he wasn't wearing his wedding band anymore. I must have been staring to long because he answered a question I was thinking in my head. “I pawned it.” I looked up and was a bit confused. “What?”

He spoke again. “I pawned the ring. The money I got from it was used to buy you that necklace. It was like...a chapter being closed and a new chapter opening.” He took a sip of his wine and was looking down at the table.

The divorce seemed to have messed him up and he was really sad. I stood up and helped him put the plates away before pouring both of us another glass of wine. I laid my hand on his shoulder.

“Come on, let's take a walk on the beach.” He slowly looked up at me giving me a sad smile. He stood up as we both grabbed our glasses and we started walking.

We walked in silence. I kept looking at him in the corner of my eye every now and then. He seriously looked a kid who got his bike stolen and it meant the world to him. Only this time, it was Michelle who broke his heart a lot and him trying to grasp on how to move on.

I stopped in front of him. He looked at me. I tiptoed and gave him a light kiss on his lips then hugged him. He hugged me back.

“I'll be here every step of the way to help you.” I said and laid a hand on his cheek. He smiled and kissed my hand. We resumed our walk and began getting to know each other. It sounds like he comes from a family of entertainers.

His dad being a guitarist/comedian and his stepmom being a comedian/hypnotist. Which I thought was unique. Told him I was originally from New Zealand but moved with my mom and dad to Washington when I was in my 3rd year of high school.

We just kept talking about family and things that we love. It was a nice conversation. Not sure how long we've been at the beach but soon it looked like the sun was slowly rising. I love every single minute of spending time with him.

Hope you liked the chapter! Felt the need to update today since I'm in a good mood. Also, in later chapters there may be some mention of a possible tour going to happen with Avenged Sevenfold and Breaking Benjamin. Funny story though, when I had already wrote out the chapters of that going on (which was last December), Avenged Sevenfold on facebook today mentioned that they're playing a show at Soaring Eagle Casino Resort and their special guest was...-drum roll please- Breaking Benjamin! It's like the universe is working with me. Or maybe against me lol.
