Sweet As Candy

::Candy’s POV::
It’s been about a week since I've seen Zack so it was Friday again but I didn’t know if I wanted to go over there for movie night, I'm always over there but he’s never over here so as soon as I got out of work I texted him ‘hey, why don’t you come over my house for movie night, you're never here’ I texted then pulled out of my spot and headed home, my phone went off while I was driving but I never text and drive so I looked at it when I got home

‘ok sure, I’ll meet you there’ he texted back, I nodded my head a little to myself then got out of the car and headed inside. I went to my room and changed into something comfortable then headed back to the living room and picked out all the toy story movies because that’s the kind of mood I was in ‘Cand?’ I heard Zack call as he came through the door ‘living room!’ I called back as I set up the tv ‘hey’ ‘hey’ I said as I turned around and noticed that April was with him, I just turned back to the tv and rolled my eyes, I hated having her in my house,

I hated her anyway, but she was in MY house. ‘Zack will you help me get a bowl down?’ I asked as I turned back to them, he nodded then walked with me into the kitchen as April sat on the couch ‘why is she in my house?’ I asked calmly as I opened up the cabinet and pointed to the bowl I wanted ‘because you know she won’t leave us alone, and if I came here alone it would be a huge fight when I came home in the morning’ he said, I just stayed quiet knowing he’s right ‘I'm telling you now, if she pulls any shit I'm kicking her out’ ‘I know baby girl’ he said softly as he kissed my cheek

‘I love you’ he whispered as he pulled away but I didn’t say it back because April walked in but it looked like he was just handing me the bowl. I walked over to the pantry and grabbed a bag of chips and a jar of salsa then walked back over and emptied out the bag then emptied the jar into a smaller bowl ‘drinks are in the fridge, just don’t take the diet coke’ I said as I walked away from them. When they came back Zack was carrying a beer for him and a coke for me ‘thanks’ ‘welcome, what are we watching?’ ‘Toy Story ok?’ I asked and he smiled big and nodded, I laughed a little and hit the play button then settled down on couch.

Not even half way into the movie April was bitching about how childish we were for watching it and asking an insane amount of questions ‘SHUT UP!’ I yelled as I looked over at her ‘if you don’t wanna watch the fucking movie then why the fuck did you come!?’ ‘I don’t trust the two of you together’ she said with a shrug ‘get out of my house’ ‘but-‘ ‘get out!’ I yelled as I stood up and pointed to the door, she stood up and looked down at Zack,

he was looking between us and started to get up but I pushed him back down ‘he’s staying, you can walk your fat ass home’ ‘it’s five miles’ ‘and?’ ‘Zack!’ she screeched, he looked over at me and went to get up again, this time I let him ‘I'm sorry April but you know that we do this every weekend, I don’t know why you have a problem with it but I’m not leaving. Here just take my car’ he said as he handed her the keys, she snatched them and walked out slamming my door ‘cunt’ I whispered darkly, Zack laughed a little and looked at me

‘You know, I kinda like when you're dominant’ he said as he set his hands on my waist, I smirked a little and looked up at him ‘yeah?’ ‘Mhm, I might get used to it’ ‘don’t get to use to it’ I said then sat back down and cuddled up to him for the rest of the night while we finished up the movies. ‘Zack?’ I whispered as I looked up at him, he looked down with a raised eyebrow ‘I love you too’ I said, he smiled and kissed my head then picked me up and carried me to my room. He laid me on the bed then stripped down to his boxers and climbed in; we kissed a few times then passed out for the night.

The next morning I woke up all cuddled into Zack, he was still asleep but I wanted him to wake up so I did the only thing I could think of, I turned over so I was looking at him then I leaned in and bit his nose making him whine ‘meanie’ ‘you love me’ ‘yeah I know’ he smiled but kept his eyes closed, I smiled back and kissed him where I bit ‘thank you’ I smiled, he smiled back and opened his eyes

‘I love opening my eyes to you’ ‘yeah?’ I asked and he nodded some ‘well, once you leave that bitch we can be together’ I said and he sighed as he looked up at the ceiling ‘look Zack,’ I started as I sat up on my elbow, he looked over at me as he set his arm behind his head ‘I love you, I've always loved you but I can't take this anymore. It’s me or her and if you choose her then I don’t know if I’ll be able to talk to you anymore’ I said softly as I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom.

::Zack’s POV::

I sighed and looked after Candy as she walked into the bathroom and shut the door, I heard it lock and sighed again. I didn’t know what to do, well I do know, I wanted to be with Candy but I've been with April so long and I know she’s a bitch but I ‘decided?’ I heard and I looked up to see Candy leaning on the door frame in a towel ‘no, but you didn’t really give me any time to think’ ‘if you wanted to be with me, you wouldn’t have to think about it’ she said as she walked over to her closet to get dressed.

I got up and walked over to Candy and grabbed her hips ‘I love you Candy, and I do wanna be with you, it’s just, I've been with April so long I don’t know how to break up with her’ ‘it’s easy, you say bye bitch and kick her ass out’ she said as she pulled away from me so she could slip on dark wash blue jeans with intentional rips, a blink 182 shirt and some flip flops. She threw her hair up in a bun and walked out of her closet to grab her phone and wallet

‘Look, I have to do some shopping today, why don’t you just go home and figure out what you want’ ‘but, we always have breakfast’ I said softly, I heard her sigh as she put her sunglasses on her head then turned to look at me ‘I'm sorry, but not this time’ she whispered then kissed my cheek and walked out leaving me in her room alone. I didn’t know what to do so I just got dressed then remembered I didn’t have a ride so I called Matt ‘hey man, can you come pick me up from Candy’s?’

‘Why don’t you have your car?’ ‘That’s a story all in itself, please come?’ ‘Alright, I’ll be there in five’ he said, I nodded then said bye. I walked downstairs and outside to wait and he didn’t take too long so I just got in and he looked over at me ‘ok, so what happened?’ he asked as he backed out then drove over to the studio since we were recording today. I told him the whole story then told it again once all of us were together ‘look man, I know you love them both, but I know you love Candy more, if you didn’t, you wouldn’t be cheating with her’ Brian said and I nodded a little sadly

‘I know, but how do I break up with April?’ ‘Simple, kick her ass out just like Cand said’ Johnny said and I just rose an eyebrow ‘you love Candy right?’ ‘Yeah’ ‘then stop hurting her and just be with her, I can't tell you how many times she’s come to us crying because she felt guilty about being with you. She’s never loved anyone but you and I don’t think she ever will’ he said and I just sat there kinda shocked because I didn’t know that she had talked to the guys about our relationship, I thought it was just between us,

I mean they knew but we never talk about it. I don’t even brag about how great the sex is, I just keep it personal ‘ok, well, I think I know what I have to do but can we get some work done first so I can think this over’ I said, they all nodded and didn’t question my actions because they knew it was a big decision for me so I picked up my guitar and started strumming away as I cleared my head about everything that was going on.

::Candy’s POV::

I just got home from shopping at Wal-Mart and bought more then I intended to but oh well I guess. Right now I was taking everything out of the bags and setting it on my kitchen table, four or five days out of the week I don’t eat any meat so I mostly got fruit and veggies, a case of water, a new lunch holder for work and five pairs of the same shorts because they were my favorite and on sale, I also got six of my favorite black tanks that were on sale and that’s about it.

I just finished putting the food away then I headed upstairs and put my new clothes in the hamper so I could wash them and that’s exactly what I did since I needed to do laundry anyway. Then I just kinda sat around all day watching tv and waiting to hear something, anything from Zack but I went to bed disappointed when I didn’t hear anything.
