Death and All His Friends

Feeling Brian and Joe's arms around my shoulders, I began pushing like nobody's business. I had went into labor earlier that day, feeling rip coils of discomfort and pain. My water broke and I called Brian. Suzy and Barbara were rubbing my head and speaking words of encouragement.
"We've got a head!" The doctor boasted and I felt the pain ripping me at the seams, literally. I felt like I had been set on fire and I was in unbearable pain. I groaned in pain and pushed a large push, bringing Hunter Elizabeth Sullivan into the world. I repeated the actions and James Owen Sullivan Junior was born ten minutes after his big sister. I could hear my children crying and the words of congratulations through a muddy currency. My world was going black, everything was darkening and I heard the doctors begin to freak out. My heart was breaking and I was dying. My heart rate started dropping and I heard Brian pleading to let himself stay with me before everything went pitch black.
The comatose I was in was peaceful, Jimmy had actually joined in.
"They're so beautiful, Lee, you should see 'em, Hunter looks exactly like you but has my eyes and James is a spitting image of me and my dad. Don't leave them, they need one parent in their lives."
The light began to fade back in and Jimmy began to disintegrate in tiny particles of white light, leaving my vision.
I may had lost him, but I had my beautiful babies and that's all that matters right now, in the Now.
