Melting The Snow

“How long they are... missing?? I mean, no one noticed they were gone before?” Mei asked, really uneasy.

Everybody traded guilty looks and shook their heads discreetly. But Jason.

“I... think the last time I saw Matt he was trying to... tell me something, I don’t know. But I ignored him...” Jason was feeling even more guilt now.

“Damn it, we gotta find them! They must’ve gone somewhere to get help, Matt wouldn’t stay the whole night here partying with us without caring about what to do next. We know him.” Brian shot it and Mei and Leyla noticed how hot he could get when worried like that. But that was an inappropriate thought for that situation, right?

“Do you think... Kim went with him?” Leyla asked, hoping someone would finally say they are okay or they are just messing with them by hiding somewhere.

“It’s our best thought. If they got kidnapped or something, then we have a big problem.” Zack spoke up and they all froze to that thought.

“What should we do now? We need to call the police or...” Leyla was by far the most scared one. She was the youngest, winning even from Arin.

“No, c’mon, let’s not rush into conclusions yet. Maybe we should split in two groups and start searching for them around here, trying not to forget our way back to the bus. If someone finds a police station or I dunno, a phone that works, we should start calling them. How about that?” Brian spoke again and his words sounded so clever that Leyla got comforted by them automatically. Mei loved the plan, it would be a hell of an adventure, and she knew they would sure find them wandering around there.

A few guys nodded, others weren’t sure but went with the flow. If Matt wasn’t around to be the boss, Brian would usually take his place naturally.

“Then that’s it, our bus driver is sleeping so I think we shouldn’t disturb him, we’ll come back before he wakes up and we leave him a note. Everybody take everything you need and let’s find them.”

All of them followed Brian’s orders putting their heavy coats, scarfs and hoodies and headed out of the bus. Jason and Matt was setting up lanterns, water and whatever they could need to get out on that heavy snow.

“Okay, let’s split in two groups. Me and the girls and the rest of you...” Brian kept demanding but Zack frowned this time.

“Heeey, wait a minute! Why would you wanna go with the girls ALONE? If something happens to you, they need at least another man to protect them!”

“Who says we need protection anyway? Just because we are girls?” Mei felt provoked with Zack’s words.

“No, I’m just saying that I know Gat... Haner, and I know what are his inten...” Brian interrupted Zack right away.

“We need to focus here, alright, man? I just want to find them so chill out! If you’re so worried about our safety, you come with us too, and the rest of you go to the other side. Better like that?” Brian asked with lasers coming out of his irises towards his friend. They all nodded, including Zack, satisfied with the decision.

Of course Brian wanted to go alone with the girls, maybe he could finally get his so called prizes. He noticed damn well how he affected those girls with only his seductive stare. He couldn’t stop thinking about what they were planning for him even though they had to focus on finding their friends now.

“If we don’t find anyone in two hours, we get back to the bus and decide what to do next!”

“Deal.” Johnny answered and Jason chose a side for his group. Brian, Zack and the girls went for the other side.
And it was in the lap of gods…

“I bet Kim is having the best birthday night of her life with Matt, if you know what I mean.” Leyla whispered with a smirk to Mei as they walked ahead of them, hoping Zack and Briand wouldn’t hear it. Mei knew what she was talking about, Leyla always had the dirtiest thoughts.

“Shh, Leyla!” she motioned to the guys behind them and Leyla giggled softly.

“Oh, c’mon, they are not missing! They are hooking up, something we should be doing with Brian now.” Leyla mumbled again and Mei couldn’t believe she said they should be hooking up with Brian. Me and my friend with the same guy? C’mon, gross!!

“I’m gonna pretend I never heard you saying that, alright? Now, stop it... they will hear you.”

“What are you girls blabbering in there, huh? We wanna be part of the conversation too.” Brian reached their backs and placed his both arms around the girls’ shoulders

“Nothing much, we...”

“I hope you were discussing my prize. You were, right?”

“Ahh, shut up, Gates! You’ve just met them, for God`s sake. Leave them alone!” Brian didn’t even look back, he just flipped Zack off and kept going close to the girls.

“And so what... I won the game, it’s my right to know what will be my prize.”

“We’re still discussing it... We’ll tell you when we know, okay?” Mei answered softly and made a sign for him to back off. He squinted his eyes a little to her and looked at her lips, they were so inviting to him. Then he finally went back to walk with Zack.

“Oh, hell, what should we do?” Leyla asked.

“I have no idea... We should be worried about finding our friend and Matt, not about his prizes. Damn it the time I invented this stupid game!” Mei kicked the snow and now Leyla was chuckling.

“Alright, what if we just ask him to decide.”

“Don’t you think it’s too risky? Look at his naughty face towards us. I bet he’s discussing our butts with Zack.” Mei looked back again and when the guys caught her eyes, they glanced up to the sky to disguise where their looks really were at.

“Yeah, you’re right… but we don’t have other choice, do we?” Leyla shrugged and Brian was already back at their shoulders like a parrot.

“So…?”

“We think it’s… best if you dec…” Leyla dragged his attention to her but Mei interrupted her.

“We wanna know your opinion about what your prize should be. Give us a clue of something you want, we don't know you that much.” He smirked and traded glances with the girls. “But don’t get your hopes up, it doesn’t mean we’re gonna do whatever you want. We just wanna know what you want first so we can decide.”

“Hmm, what about…” Brian brought their heads closer to his mouth together and mumbled something Zack couldn’t hear, although he tried really hard.

“WHAT!? NO! NO FREAKING WAY, BRIAN! Choose something else!!” Mei snapped her head away from Brian’s hold and walked ahead, looking really annoyed by whatever he had said. Leyla wasn’t that pissed, she would do what he asked easily.

“She couldn’t even think about me and her kissing the same man, now what you suggested… Damn Brian, you really are that ladies’ man we think you are, aren’t you?”

“What? What are you talking about? You’ve just met me, how do you know that? It’s every living man’s fantasy, you know that. But okay… choose something else.” He shrugged, still wrapping Leyla on one of his arms. She could feel and see his hot breath leaving his nose and mouth and being so close to him was turning her on so badly. She didn’t even notice she almost slipped to him the girls knew him and his band.

“What if we just…” Zack saw them whispering again, but now Leyla was saying something on Brian’s ear. And he couldn’t hear it again.

“Just that? I mean… can’t you just convince your friend about my wish? C’mon, it’s a good experience. You’ll like it, you’ll get to know you friend better and… well, me.” Brian smirked so beautifully Leyla was almost accepting it without Mei’s approval. “You know I’d love to know you two better. A red head and a brunette, wow, never tried that combination before.” He licked his lips so close to hers and it was just too much for her to handle, she attacked his mouth with hers and their tongues met in just a few seconds. She couldn’t miss the opportunity of making out with the most handsome man in the universe, not again.

They even stopped walking to intensify the kiss and Zack had to divert from them, rolling his eyes to the scene. Then he grumbled. “Get a room…”

One of Brian’s hands held her neck and the other fell to her hips to bring her closer. Leyla moaned to the way he was exploring her mouth, playing with her lips and slipping his fingers to squeeze her butt against him. Fuck, he’s a good kisser and a good grabber…

Mei didn’t even notice Brian and Leyla were behind them, she didn't look back, and Zack reached her pace quickly, leaving the kissers there.

When his hands were travelling up her body again, she opened her eyes, took a mental picture of that unforgettable taste and moment and pulled away, noticing Zack and Mei were too far away from them, they could get lost. Brian groaned trying to bring her lips back to his.

“No, Brian, wait… they are too far from us already, we need to go.” Leyla had to stop his mouth against her own will with her index finger and smiled sweetly, her cheeks turning so red from her excitement.

“Can we continue this later?” Brian raised one of his brows, his thumb caressing her face.

“Well, I don’t know… All I know is that this kiss was my prize for you, masterpiece.” Leyla winked at him and started to run after the others.

Brian shook his head with a silly smile, wishing he could have more of those girls, and followed Leyla’s path.

“So… do you like living here, Mei?” Brian approached Mei, who was leaned on a tree.
They were waiting for Zack to pee somewhere hidden from them. The beers they had was starting to work against them.

“Yeah, I do… but I never thought I would lose my friend in my own country. Damn… this is all my fault…” she looked down, disappointed. Brian searched behind him and saw Leyla a little far away from them, not really watching. So, well, he could try to comfort this sad little girl here now, right?

“We’ll find them, she’s safe with Matt, don’t worry. Look… there are a few footprints at the trail we were following, maybe it’s theirs.”

“It’s her freaking birthday! What am I gonna say to her mom…”

“Just tell her her daughter found her prince charming or whatever.” Mei shook her head, frowning at his remark. “And you found yours…”

Mei noticed he was trying too hard. He was getting closer to her slowly, his dark eyes stuck on hers. She snapped right out of her mesmerized state when she understood what he was up to.

“All you want from me is your prize, right? That’s why you’re making this silly pep talk.” Mei smiled and he couldn’t help but smirk back.

“Busted. I was hoping to convince you about… you know, what I asked before.” He gave a few steps and placed his arms slowly around her, bending on the tree and locking her under his body.

“Sorry to disappoint you but… not in this life.” She didn’t push him away, she just waited for his actions. She couldn’t keep fighting her urge to know how he’d taste like. How would be his kiss and…

“Your friend already gave me something. What about you, what you have for me?” he whispered in her ear and she had shivers from the warm feeling of his words.

“Tell me what she…” Mei tried to answer, more like a gasp.

“No, only after you…” suddenly his mouth was being taken wildly again, but a different kind of taste now, different lips. And he loved that combination. It was just like having two different kinds of drinks, each of them giving a special high for him.

Mei took the chance to explore everything she once fantasized about trying. Her hands went up his neck and played with his hair, tugging it a little as their tongues played from a slow to a fast pace now. Then she felt his hands sliding to her butt and then… her jacket pocket? What the hell?!

She opened her eyes immediately and pushed him away when he got something from her pocket.

“What are you…doing?”

OH NO, FUCK! THE CONCERT TICKETS!

“Give it back!!!” Mei tried to take it off from his hands but he ran away from the woods towards the road, where he found Zack walking back to us. Mei ran after him but she was too late, he was already reading the papers.

“Ohhhooo, Zacky, my friend, look at this!! Our lovely girls here have… tickets for AVENGED SEVENFOLD CONCERT!! I knew iiittt, I knew you know us!!! You were acting too lose.”

“What? Like… they were playing with us all this time, pretending they didn’t know our band??” Zack took the tickets to his sight and read their names on the papers. His mouth was ajar.

“Who gave you permission to search into my pocket in the first place!!? You waited for me to get distracted and…”

“What is happening here?” Leyla walked to them and Brian showed her the tickets with a sexy cocky smile. “Oh…shit… MEEEI!!!!”

Mei was staring at the ground and had her cheeks burning in shame. She was just caught up with her guards down.

“Alright, alright, you girls are forgiven, it's not like you committed a crime. Let’s go, we gotta keep searching for them. We can’t let Matt lose us a precious fan.” Zack said and returned their tickets to Mei, shaking his head.

“I want my money back, by the way…” Mei replied, Leyla chuckled and they all returned their paths among the trees and snow. “It was Kim’s birthday gift…”
