“If I know the way back? Sure… Do I know the way back..” I replied to Kim’s soft voice, but I didn’t turn around to meet her eyes.
Could she see the lie?
Could she already hear the uncertainty in my voice?
“Matt?”
Damn it…
“I think we passed that rock the third time now.” Kim pointed to the side of the road at a huge rock, and I had to admit… I saw that thing for the first time… or?

“Fuck…” I cursed… I lost not only the way back, I had no idea where we were, and had no idea how to get out of here…
“Shit, Kim… I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have taken you along… I have honestly no idea where we are… and no idea how to get back… fuck I totally lost the orientation… how about you?”
“I don’t know too… I have to admit, I laid all my hopes in you.” She smiled a little and I felt my cheeks getting hot in the ice cold.
“Damn it… I… what should we do now?” I looked around, it was dark and slowly my flashlight was beginning to flicker… which was an indication, that soon… the battery was completely empty.

“Maybe we can find a house or maybe just a small garage or something off the road… we need to get somewhere… I don’t know… but we need to hurry.”Kim said and I nodded.
“Right, come on…” I put my hands back into the pocket of my jackets and tried to not think about the cold too much… Trying to distract me.. with something… anything.
We kept on walking, my teeth began to shatter and I wasn’t feeling my toes anymore… fuck, we needed to find something.. anything… soon.

“Do you think the others are looking for us? I hope they don’t get lost as well!” Kim said and I heard her voice was shaking.
I waited until she was beside me and put my hand out of my pocket and around her slim shoulders, she was so much smaller than me, but it felt good having her beside me.
“What are you-” Kim looked up to me and I had to smile
“I don’t know… thought this would keep us a little warmer… while walking… you can put your hand in my pocket, it’s a little warm inside at least…” Kim’s right hand vanished into the pocket of my jacket in no time and she sighed.

We kept on walking like this and if it wasn’t so dark and cold outside it could have felt like a normal walk as a couple… but soon the cold and hard reality came crashing down on me…
“Is that what I think it is?” Kim said suddenly beside me and pointed into the dark.
I lifted my flashlight and tried to follow her direction, in that moment the flashlight went out and left us completely in the dark.
“FUCK, worst moment ever.” I cursed loudly.
“Did you see that?” Kim asked again and I shook my head, “No what was it?”
“I think there was a house or a cabin… come on… maybe someone is there and can help us.” Kim pulled away from my side and I lost the warmth from her immediately, not only physically but…
“KIM.. Wait” She was so fast even in the dark, I could not even see my own hand before my eyes and she was already a few feet away from me.
“Hurry Matt” Her voice was somewhere in the front and I held my hands out trying not to run into a tree.
“Here, let me help you.” Kim chuckled and then her cold hand was in mine, I held her hand strongly, not wanting to let go again, afraid she would slip away if I would.

After 5 more minutes I could see the small cabin before us, it looked dark and no car stood near.
“Fuck… doesn’t look like someone is here…” I tried to look inside through the windows, but couldn’t make anything out.
“Damn… you are right…” Kim sounded lost and defeated and I didn’t like that sound, felt like I had to soothe her.
“Doesn’t matter… let me try the door… We will stay here, no matter what.” I announced and rattled on the door handle and after a little more effort of strength the door opened and I sighed in relief.

“Come on, my lady… the door is open.” I motioned into the small doorway and Kim stepped forward.
“Thanks my lord.” She walked ahead of me and I let my hand wander around the entrance trying to find a light switch and succeeding finally.
“There you go.” I clicked and the small light in the cabin went on, well better than nothing.
“Look a fireplace… ohhhhooo a small chance of warmth…” Kim looked so excited and I took a moment to take her in, her grey eyes looking at me with excitement and salvation and her nose red from the cold, her cheeks also flushed…
How would she look when her body was all flushed from other excitement, from heat… from… sex?

I shook my head, wrong timing Sanders… really wrong timing… you need all you blood in the upper region and not down south… damn it.
“Let me find some firewood and try to make a fire in the fireplace.” I told her and saw Kim rubbing her hands and looking around the small cabin… basically it was just one room, a kitchen in the corner, the fireplace… a small couch and in the other corner a small bed, where not even one person would fit in comfortably…
And one door leading to the bathroom that’s at least what I guessed and we would find out later.
I walked back outside trying to find some woods that weren’t wet from the snow, but found only a couple behind the cabin, while I tripped over roots and other things lying around.
“I found at least a little to start a fire… we should also get rid of the wet jackets and shoes…” I walked back inside and saw Kim leaning over the fireplace, arranging some papers she must have found in the cabin… “Do you have a lighter?” She asked and I nearly face-palmed myself.
“Shit..I don’t think...I have…” I grabbed inside the pockets of my jacket and came up empty handed, then I tried the pockets of my jeans and found a lighter… from Gates.
“Fuck, I never thought I say this but I love Gates for smoking.” I held up the lighter in triumph and Kim chuckled.
“Perfect, come here.” She motioned me towards her and laid the wood down next to the fireplace and handed the lighter to her.
We started a fire, but it took a while to really become big to give enough heat to warm the whole cabin.
I waited a moment, while both Kim and I stared into the fire, I shifted my view to her profile taking her in again.
She had a small smile on her face, her eyes reflecting the fire, god what a beautiful view.

“Let me..” I laid my arms around her shoulders and slowly helped her out of her jacket, I hung it over a chair and did the same to mine. Next I helped her pull her shoes off, she looked a little uncomfortable but smiled.
“Are you getting warmer already?” I asked softly and she nodded, but her eyes wouldn’t meet mine.
“I think, we should try to sleep a little… get some rest after all the walking around… the fire should be okay until the morning. I think we can find our way back when it’s not dark outside it will be easy, don’t worry.”
“I heard that ‘don’t worry’ before… and I ended with you lost in the dark… and now here in the cabin” Kim replied with a smirk, making me chuckle.
“Am I that a bad company?” I asked with a pout.
“No… actually not at all…” Her eyes were burning into mine and I was about to lean forward, but she turned away.

“So… where do we sleep?” She asked and I nearly cursed out loud… what was I thinking? Why was I thinking about kissing her… I mean… we were in a serious situation here… and all I could think about was, how soft her hair felt between my fingers and how kissable her lips looked?
“Well… I can sleep on the couch.. or floor… you take the bed.” I smiled and she nodded.
“But there is just one blanket…” Kim walked towards the bed holding up the blanket with a raised eyebrow.
“Take it.. I can take the jackets, to keep me warm.” At least that’s what I hoped.
“You sure?!” She asked and I nodded.
“Yeah.. I’m sure.”

Half an hour later, Kim lay curled up in the bed at the other side of the room while I tried to get comfortable on the couch. I had put some more wood on the fire to make it linger the whole night.
I closed my eyes, but the cold kept creeping back, my hands were getting cold and my toes as well, the tip of my nose was also cold as ice… shit… dumb idea…
“Mmm-aa-tt?” I heard the shivering from Kim’s voice and sat up quickly.
“Yeah?”
“I know this will sound like some cheap trick, but can you… I mean…” She looked a little embarrassed and I got up from the uncomfortable as hell couch, threw away the wet jackets, that weren’t helping against the cold at all and moved towards the bed.
“It’s just against the cold… I won’t you know… try anything…” I told her and held my hands up in surrender, while hoping she really meant what I was thinking.

Body warmth… that’s what would keep us warm.. and I needed that… really bad now.
She held the blanket open and I rushed into the bed, it was so small, that we really lay firm against each other, nose to nose, chest to chest, her hot breath tickling my ears.
“Maybe you should turn or I?” I asked and Kim nodded, she turned her back on me and I tried not to touch her anywhere where she could misunderstand it, but damn that was hard… and problem was… I was only a man, and my fantasizing about her earlier and now her hot little body pressed to mine, wasn’t really helping me in this situation either…

“Can you… lay your arms around me… I mean… It must be uncomfortable like this? And if we want to share this bed, and the warmth that’s the best solution right?” Kim said and I sighed loudly.

“Hmm…” I heard Kim’s lips escape, that sounded like a moan…
I realized a little later that my hand began to move, my thumb caressing the exposed skin of Kim’s belly, she wasn’t complaining or shying away so I moved a little closer to her again, her back flush again my front and then I felt her pressing against me a little, was I imagining things?
I moved my head a little forward and whispered in her ear “Is it warmer now?”
“It’s getting hot…” Kim whispered back and I couldn’t hide the smile, when she turned towards me again, in her eyes I saw a small twinkle.
And before I could think about the idea again and dismiss it, I crashed my lips down on hers, kissing her and tasting her, finding out just how soft her lips were, how good she tasted, and let my fingers wander to her neck so I could feel the softness of her hair as well.
I groaned when she opened her mouth and let me in, her tongue meeting mine, her hand still a little cold wandering to my abs, exploring my muscles and making them flex, then running up my chest and down towards my pants, making me want to get rid of them as soon as possible.
This wasn’t the right time and this wasn’t the moment maybe, but that didn’t matter… at least for me it felt right and damn it felt so good.

“Matt…” Kim moaned when I pulled away so I could get rid of her shirt and explore more of her.
“Hmm…” I murmured while pulling her clothes away and still kissing her, each inch of more exposed skin earned a proper treatment of nibbling and kissing before moving on.
“You are overdressed” I heard her chuckle and pull open my pants before moving her hands in my boxers and explore my already straining erection…
“Damn.. Kim… you got me so hot already… I think we can melt the snow together…” I moaned out when she began pumping my erection.
I let my hand knead her breasts, the blanket long forgotten, both of us just wanting to feel the other in every and any way possible.
I moved my hands down her panties, finding her wet and let one finger slip inside making her moan.
I let another finger follow and she gasped when I began to pump in a steady rhythm.
“Ohhooo Matt…” Her movement in my boxers were getting uncontrolled when I felt her nearing her orgasm and I chuckled lightly.
