I Can Fix You

So it was finally thanksgiving, we had a week off from school because our school knew everyone made week long plans so they changed it like the first year I was there I think but anyway, my parents decided to go visit the rest of my family without me and I only knew that because when I came home from our half day today they weren’t home and there was a note on the counter saying that.

I just sighed and walked up to my room and set my school bag down then came back downstairs and went to find something for lunch but there wasn’t anything so I just grabbed a monster and walked into the living room and turned on the tv to watch Ned’s Declassified, I loved this show. After the first episode I got up and threw my can away, went to the bathroom then went out for a smoke. As I was out there I saw Alice and the guys walking up the street, she smiled when she saw me ‘Remy! You wanna go to the mall with us!?’ she asked happily, I shrugged and finished up my smoke then stood

‘I’ll meet you there though’ I said and she nodded a little then they all went back to her house and I went inside and up to my room. I grabbed my wallet and pulled on a zip up jacket sweater thing then headed out to the car. When I got to the mall I met everyone in the parking lot, we went in and just walked around, going in different stores, I didn’t get anything but my tummy did growl at me ‘shush’ I said and poked it, everyone laughed and we decided to eat in the food court. Zack and I went for subway;

I wasn’t paying the others any mind as we walked over there ‘are you ok?’ Zack asked, I sighed and nodded a little ‘yeah, I just, wanted to spend today to myself. I love Alice, I really do but I just need a break’ I said softly and he nodded a little ‘please don’t tell her?’ I asked as I looked up at him ‘of course not, I feel that way after tour’ he said and I nodded then turned back to the sandwich guy and ordered. Zack did the same and I picked up a cookie with a bottle of water then walked over to the counter

‘$7.50’ the girl said and I nodded then handed her a $10, She gave me my change and I moved over so Zack could pay and once he did we walked over to a big table and I opened my two pack of cookies and offered Zack one, he smiled and took it as we waited for everyone else, who came over shortly with their food. Matt and Brian got a big slice of pizza and Johnny and Alice got Chinese. We all ate and talked about nothing really ‘you're coming over for Thanksgiving right?’ Alice asked and I nodded a little as I chewed

‘good, mom wants you to wear something nice’ ‘ok, do I need to bring any food?’ ‘Only if you want to’ she said and I nodded as we all finished up and I went to throw away everything. When I walked back I stayed standing because I knew we were about to go walk around some more and that’s what we did. ‘I wanna go in hot topic!’ Alice announced and I just rolled my eyes a little, I didn’t like them anymore

‘I'm gonna go to FYE, I’ll meet you back here’ I said and she nodded as she dragged Matt inside. Johnny, Zack and Brian all looked at me ‘what? I don’t like them anymore, their bright now. You guys can do what you want but I’ll be down here’ I said as I pointed down the other end of the hallway where FYE was then I turned and started walking there and I felt an arm go around my shoulder. I looked up and saw Zack which made me smile, he smiled back and we walked in the story and over to the movies.

We were in the horror section and I was reading the back of the last two SAW movies since I didn’t have them ‘I missed you’ I heard and I looked over to see Zack standing next to me and biting his lip ‘yeah?’ ‘Mhm, I would’ve come up sooner but we were busy’ ‘it’s ok, I missed you to’ I smiled, he smiled back and we hugged then he kept his arms around my shoulders as I finished reading the backs of the movies ‘these better be good’ I said when I decided to get them,

They were $10 each but that was still a lot for me ‘they are, I've seen them’ ‘Alright, what do you wanna look at?’ I asked and I turned around to look up at him, he shrugged and I nodded a little ‘how about we sneak out for a smoke?’ I asked and he nodded then we walked over to the counter, I paid and we left to go outside. We walked over to my car and I set my bag in there then shut and locked the door as we leaned on it to smoke.

‘So are you guys staying all week?’ ‘Yeah, Matt wanted us all to come with and we wanted to anyway so it wasn’t a problem’ ‘that’s good; my parents went to go visit my family for the week’ ‘you didn’t go?’ ‘They didn’t tell me they were going’ ‘oh, I'm sorry’ ‘its ok, my family doesn’t like me anyway so I don’t really care’ I smiled; he laughed a little and nodded as we finished up and put our smokes out on the ground. We walked back inside and over to Hot Topic where I saw that Alice was still in there and poor Matt looked miserable ‘should we go save him?’ Zack asked and I nodded a little,

We walked in and over to Matt and Alice who was going on about who knows what ‘hey guys!’ I said and they looked over and smiled, Alice happily, Matt excitedly because he was a little over whelmed. ‘So are you gonna buy anything?’ I asked and she nodded a little and held up some makeup, I nodded ‘let’s go then, I want candy’ I said and she nodded some more then walked over to the counter and I followed her ‘how did you do that?’ Matt whispered in my ear,

I smiled and looked up at him ‘she always listens to me’ I whispered back and he nodded a bit then looked over at Zack as Alice finished up. She turned around and I smiled then held out my hand to her, she took and laced our fingers together as we walked out of the store and over to the candy thing in the middle of the mall. I got lots and lots of candy like two of the regular sized bags of M&M’s, 40 mini chocolate pretzels, two regular sized bags of Reeses pieces, 10 wax bottles, 40 pieces of candy corn, because they had it all year,

Two sealed bags of gummy bears and two sealed bags of sour gummy worms, a pack of gum, one hello kitty lollipop, one candy necklace, one box of nerds, two 24 count rolls of smarties, one 24 count roll of bottle caps, and two 10 count packs of chocolate cow tails and they gave me a free mini hello kitty stuffie for buying so much candy. I walked away very very happy ‘you love your candy huh?’ Zack asked and I nodded happily up at him, he laughed and wrapped an arm around my shoulders which just made me smile more.

‘You should see her during Halloween’ Alice said and I blushed a little ‘what does she do?’ ‘Well, I'm forced to go trick or treating and if we go to a house where the candy bowl is left alone outside she dumps the whole thing in her bag and since I don’t really like candy I give her my bag when we get back to my house then she puts herself in a sugar coma’ she said and they all laughed ‘Hey! I'm hyper for an hour or two then I'm in a coma’ I objected and she rolled her eyes with a smile

‘Well, next Halloween why don’t you guys come to my party?’ Zack asked and I looked up at him ‘will there be candy?’ ‘I’ll make sure of it’ ‘ok then I'm in’ I smiled, he laughed and nodded then looked over at Alice ‘mom probably won’t let me go because she knows you guys are big drinkers’ ‘but you’ll be with me’ I said and she shrugged ‘I’ll ask when the time comes’ ‘okie dokie’ I smiled as we walked out of the mall and started heading towards Matt’s SUV

‘Are you going home?’ Alice asked me and I looked at the time on my phone, it was only twoish ‘why don’t I go home and come back over later, I have to do some homework so I don’t have to worry about it over break’ I said and she nodded then hugged me, I hugged back then hugged the rest of the guys ‘why don’t I come with you? I don’t like you walking to the other side of the mall to your car’ Zack said and I nodded a little, we said bye to everyone then headed back into the mall ‘do you really have homework?’

‘If I say no are you gonna tattle on me?’ I asked and he laughed a little but shook his head ‘no, I won’t tattle’ ‘ok then, no I don’t have homework but I do wanna relax at home for a bit because I know Alice is gonna wanna stay up all night like she usually does on the weekends’ ‘ahh ok, mind if I join you?’ ‘Not at all’ I smiled, he smiled back and we walked over to my car then I drove home.

We went up to my room when we got there and I put all the candy I got into my big candy jar and I set the hello kitty stuffie on the dresser so it was sitting in front of the jar then I turned around and saw Zack was sitting on my bed and looking around my room a bit ‘when do you think we should head back over?’ he asked and I shrugged a little as I opened up my gummy worms and sat next to him on my bed and offered him some, he took some and I smiled and ate them happily ‘Wanna watch the last SAW movies then head over?’ he asked,

I looked over at him with half a worm sticking out of my mouth making him laugh but I nodded then got up and walked over to my tv. I put everything on the right channel then put the DVD in, pulled off my shoes and sweater then walked back over to the bed and saw that Zack had already done the same and was leaning back on the pillows. ‘Wanna drink?’ I asked and he nodded a bit so I went downstairs and grabbed us some water bottles then headed back up and handed him his,

he thanked me and we watched both movies then headed over to Alice’s in my car. When we got there everyone was down in the basement playing pool so that’s where we headed, once we got down there we gave hugs then sat on an oversized chair together and waited to play against whoever won. After about three hours of me losing, badly, we decided to head upstairs ‘Alice honey’ I heard her mom say as her and her dad walked into the living room in a rush ‘what?’

‘We have to go to the hospital, I don’t know when we’ll be back’ she said and they were both surgeons by the way, that’s why they were going. ‘Ok’ Alice nodded some and hugged them ‘Matthew you're in charge’ her mom said then leaned over and kissed his cheek, he nodded and we all said bye as they ran out the door and out of the driveway quickly. ‘Ok, I guess were having pizza, unless Remy wants to be the bestest and cook’ she pouted;

I just smiled a little and walked into the kitchen. I looked around and finally decided to make clubs so I pulled out all the things I would need first which would be bacon, deli ham and turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo, two loafs of bread, why they had that I don’t know, and American cheddar cheese then I searched for the tooth picks and finally found them hiding in the top of the pantry. Anyway, I pulled out a pan and cooked the big ass pack of bacon then I started cutting up the lettuce and tomato.

I opened up the ham, turkey, cheese and mayo then toasted the 18 slices of bread then put them all on the right plates. I put mayo on all of them then turned off the bacon and started stacking. I put two slices each of ham and turkey on the bottom, one slice of cheese then some lettuce and two slices of tomato then some bacon. I put the middle piece of bread then repeated the same process for all the sandwiches, I cleaned up and put everything away then grabbed some chips out of the closet and put them on all the plates,

I put all the plates on the table and grabbed six sodas ‘COME GET IT!’ I yelled as I sat in my seat to avoid being crushed. They all ran in, sat in their seats and started stuffing their faces which made me laugh a little then continue eating my own food. When everyone was finished I put the dishes in the dish washer and started it then walked back into the living room and was pulled onto Zack’s lap ‘well’ I said, he laughed and wrapped his arms around me as I leaned back against him

‘So what do you guys wanna do now?’ Alice asked and we all shrugged ‘oh I know!’ I said happily from Zack’s lap ‘what?’ ‘Let’s play games!’ I said and Alice laughed a little but nodded and got up from the floor and walked over to the hall closet. She came back with monopoly, clue, twister, hedbanz and a pack of playing cards. ‘What do you wanna do first?’ ‘Twister!’ I said happily, she nodded and made Matt move the coffee table out of the way

‘ok, I'm not playing so I’ll spin the thing’ Alice said, I nodded then took my boots off and the rest of us got ready ‘ok Remy, right hand red’ Alice said and I nodded then did so ‘Matt, left foot yellow’ she said and he did so, ‘Brian, right foot blue’ ‘Zack, left hand green’ ‘Johnny right hand red’ she said and he placed his hand next to mine ‘I hope you guys know that Remy never loses at this game’ Alice laughed as she hit the spinner ‘Remy, right foot yellow’ she said and I stretched across the board.

This game went on for another 15 minutes and I was in a bridge over Matt ‘you know, you have a nice ass’ he said and I laughed a little ‘thanks’ ‘you're welcome’ he said and I could tell he had a smirk on his face ‘Remy, right hand yellow’ ‘oh Christ I don’t know if I can bend that far’ I said as I lifted my feet up so I was on my tippy toes then I slid my hand down under Matt to a free yellow spot ‘if you fall on me and break my arm you're paying for the hospital bill’ I told Matt, he nodded then moved when Alice gave him is color.

After another few minutes my hand was back on green and the guys had fell over ‘ha! I win again!’ I said as I stood up slowly and smiled down at them ‘yeah yeah’ Matt laughed, I laughed also and smiled up at him when he stood ‘go fish?’ I asked and they all nodded then folded up the mat and Brian put the coffee table back and we all gathered around it. I shuffled and distributed the cards and we played go fish for maybe half an hour,

Brian won that then we made some popcorn and played monopoly for at least four hours. When we finally finished Johnny won and it was around 1 am so we decided to head to bed, Alice slept in her room alone but she went to bed like an hour ago so we all spilt up into the guest rooms.

It was Zack and I, Matt and Brian and Johnny got his own room because he drew the long straw so he was happy about that but anyway, I pulled off my pants and bra leaving me in just a tank and cheeky shorts. I crawled in bed and plugged my phone in then felt as the bed sank in behind me and Zack’s hand ran up my thigh slowly making me blush and move to lie on my back

‘Hi’ ‘hi’ I smiled, he smiled back then leaned down a little and kissed me, I kissed back and set my hands on his arms then pulled away slowly ‘come spend our birthday with me?’ he asked and I just raised an eyebrow ‘What day is it?’ ‘Thursday’ ‘oh, I guess I can skip two days of school’ ‘yay!’ he said happily, I laughed and ran my hands over his arms slowly ‘I really have missed you’ he whispered, I bit my lip and nodded

‘I really missed you too but I didn’t wanna bother you with texts’ ‘you could never bother me Remy, I love talking to you’ ‘yeah?’ ‘Mhm, and don’t think anything different’ he said then kissed my nose; I smiled and kissed his also then yawned ‘bed time?’ ‘Mhm’ I nodded, he nodded back then moved to lay behind me as I turned onto my side, he wrapped his arm around me tightly and pulled me against him. We said our good nights then passed out.
