My Little Piece of Heaven

Jimmy led Hope down to the basement so they could start a game of pool. “What made you go after mom?” Hope asked while Jimmy was racking the pool balls. Jimmy looked up at her and smiled, “She looked beyond beautiful at the concert. She knew how to be seductive and was very good at it. I didn’t know what to do when she came up to me and whispered in my ear. Everything in me just fell in love with her.” She smiled as her dad told the story, “Why didn’t you date her then?” Jimmy came around the pool table and looked down at Hope, “She never called me back. I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend but she didn’t want anything with me after we slept together. I just wished I could have had a chance with her.” Hope hugged her dad and cried a little, “I never knew she did that to you. When she told me I had a dad she made it seem like he was the one that walked away.” “Babygirl she never gave me a choice to be in your life. She isn’t all that great and I am so sorry you had to grow up not knowing the truth. You have Brian, the guys, and of course you’ll always have me,” Jimmy said kissing the top of her head.

“Thank you daddy. I can see some of you in me at times,” Hope said letting go of him. Jimmy smiled at looked at his daughter, “We are so much alike sweetie. You are nothing like your mom.” “I know. We never saw eye to eye and she honestly wasn’t around much,” She said shedding a tear. Jimmy wiped the tear away, “You are too beautiful to cry. Now let’s play some pool.” Hope started laughing and went to shoot first. “Now don’t hit the ball too hard but you want to use some force,” Jimmy said teaching her how to shoot. “I know dad. I got this,” Hope said taking her shot.

“Nice shot baby!” Brian said coming down the stairs. “How long have you been standing there?” She asked. “I heard you and Jimmy talking and then I heard you crying so I came downstairs to see what was going on,” Brian said while Jimmy was taking his shot. Hope walked over and Brian put his arms around her waist, “Everything is fine. Just some father/daughter time.” “Your shot sweetie,” Jimmy said missing the ball. “Now hit the ball and knock it in,” Brian said kissing her head. She turned and gave him a funny look, “Nah I was just thinking of missing the ball and hitting it off the table.”

Jimmy fell to the floor laughing so hard and Brian started laughing along with him. “That won’t help you win. After this game of pool I have a surprise for you,” Brian said going upstairs. Hope looked at Jimmy confused, “I wonder why he’s acting so weird. He wasn’t like this when y’all were on tour was he?” Jimmy shook his head, “No he wasn’t and I think you should go talk to him and see what’s wrong.” “But it’s supposed to be father/daughter time,” She said with a pout. Jimmy came over and kissed her head, “We will have that time after we figure out what is wrong with Brian.” Hope smiled, “Okay I’ll go find out what’s bothering him.”

Jimmy smiled and kissed her head, “That’s my girl.” Hope handed him the pool stick and went upstairs to see what was wrong with Brian. “Hey Zacky where did Brian go?” Hope asked walking into the kitchen. “He is upstairs in his bedroom,” Zacky replied. When Hope started to go upstairs, she noticed rose petals on the stairs and followed them up to Brian’s bedroom. “Just like our first date baby,” Brian said smiling while holding a bouquet of white roses. Hope had her hands over her mouth and was crying, “Babe what is this?”

Brian put the flowers down and wrapped his arms around her, “We haven’t had any romance in a week and I figured we could use it. I know I’ve been acting strange and I have a good reason.” Hope closed the door and looked at Brian then kissed him, “What’s your reason?” Brian hugged her and whispered in her ear, “I am so scared of fucking up and Jimmy noticing it. I was never scared of him until you found out he was your dad.” Hope kissed him so softly, “You are not going to fuck up. We are perfect for each other.” Brian got on his knees and kissed her belly, “I want to be the best husband and father for you too. I am just scared that I will fail.” Hope held Brian’s hands and looked down at him, “Babe you are already the best and I love you so much.” Brian kissed Hope and picked her up and put her on the bed gently, “I want to have the best sex with you forever and ever. Hope pulled him down and kissed his neck, “You will babe.”
