Two Beating Hearts

**Brian's POV**

Zacky reemerges from the kitchen with a smile on his face just as the doorbell rings. "I'll get it" says Mrs. Baker who is also smiling, so I can't help but wonder what they really talked about in the kitchen because I doubt it was Zacky and I dating.

"Hey Zee, what did y-" I ask before he crashes his lips down on top of mine. My eyes widen in surprise at first but eventually they slip closed and my lips begin to move with his.

"You're kidding me, right?!" Michelle shrieks from the doorway and Zacky attempts to pull away but I grab the sides of his face and hold him in place. "Brian you're gay?!?" she whines and I can't help but break the kiss and chuckle.

"Yeah, it kind of surprised me too" I shrug nonchalantly and everyone except for Michelle cracks up laughing.

"Ugh, I'm not going with you now!" says with disgust evident in her voice and Zacky's mother scoffs from next to her.

"Are you implying that there is something wrong with him just because he likes my son??" she scolds and Michelle turns on her heels and storms out the door without even a response. "Fuck her!" Mrs. Baker mutters under her breath and Zee, Meaghan and I all laugh hysterically.

"So, I guess the whole school is going to find out" Zacky mumbles nervously and I tilt his chin to face me.

"Honestly, I don't give a fuck...I love you" I state and Meaghan squeaks in excitement.

"I'm sorry, I just find it super adorbs when you do that" she giggles. "Um, I can go alone if you would rather go together" she states and Zee and I both shake our heads.

"Let's go as a threesome...that will really blow their minds" I chuckle and she nods her head in excitement.

The limo pulls and before we know it we arrive at the prom. Michelle is standing cross-armed outside the doors with half of the student body and I should have know that she couldn't resist blabbing to the whole class.

"Hey Haner! Which one is your date?!" The football quarterback, Evan, shouts and everyone busts out laughing.

I glare back at them, "They both are....got a problem with that??" I argue and Evan jumps off the steps and gets in my face.

"Prove it" he says because he thinks I'm going to back down....he's sorely mistaken. I turn to face Meaghan and tug her lips towards mine, causing her to gasp in surprise but eventually she parts her lips and allows my tongue to skim along hers. "I meant prove Baker is your date" he says smugly and I break the kiss with Meaghan and turn towards Zacky.

He looks terrified as I step closer to him and wrap my left arm around his waist. His piercing green eyes lock onto my chocolate brown ones and I softly bring my lips down on top of his and kiss him passionately.

"Ew, see what I mean!" Michelle shrieks from next to us and Meaghan quickly shuts her up with a slap to the face. "You slapped me you bitch!!" Michelle whines and storms back inside.

Zacky and I break the kiss and turn to face the shocked student body. I link arms with both my dates as we shove our way inside. "Brian wait" Zacky says just as we get inside. I give him a puzzled look, "Would you go on a date with me?" he asks and I quickly peck his lips.

"Of course" I reply and Meaghan lets out another high pitched squeak while bouncing in place.

"Sorry" she mutters but I could honestly care less...

I'm the happiest guy in the world right now.
