*Carry On*

Brian's POV

As Zacky pulls Kaylyn up the stairs, I have a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. I knew that look of disappointment on Zacky's face all too well, considering that is the only look he's given me lately. But before I can think about what's happening, Matt pulls me into the living room and hands me a beer. I sit on the couch and pop the top before taking a long sip. What the fuck is going on? Is this an intervention? Fat chance, I would be out the door so fast that they wouldn't know what to do.

"Listen, Brian," Matt says as Jimmy leans on the door frame. He doesn't look me in the eye and shakes his head. Now I know something is up. "I'm sorry for what I said earlier about--" Matt stops suddenly as muffled yelling erupts upstairs. Seconds later Kaylyn is flying down the steps and grabs her bags. She looks furious and I instantly stand up.

"Whoa, Kaylyn where are you going?" I ask, heading to the foyer. I look between her and a flustered looking Zacky as she pulls on her jacket. She can't be leaving on her own accord. This must be all Baker's fault. I feel the anger starting to rise as Kaylyn answers.

"Ask him!" She yells, pointing at Zacky before turning and stomping out the door. She slams the door in my face and I turn to face Zacky with balled fists.

"What the fuck did you just do?" I ask with a clenched jaw. Kaylyn is the only one besides Jimmy who I would even consider talking about...her.... with. I am beyond pissed as I watch Zacky cross his arms and look back at me.

"I fired her," he says like it's no big deal. "She broke our agreement."

"You what?" Jimmy and I say at the same time.

"Big mistake, dude," Jimmy mutters. Jimmy flashes me a small apologetic smile, lowers his head, and retreats to the kitchen. He knows me all too well.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I yell, starting to pace for the third time today. My emotions are boiling over again and I don't think I can reel them in this time.

"You're just pissed because I took away your new fuck buddy," Zack snaps, glaring at me as I step right up into his face. "That's not why we hired her. She broke our agreement and was no help in managing you."

"Are you serious? I don't need a fucking babysitter! How many times do I have to tell you that before you listen? Just leave me the fuck alone and I'll be fine!"

"Brian you're not fine," matts sighs, giving me an exasperated look. "You are irrational and don't show up for scheduled events. How are we supposed to know you're taking this seriously? This is our career on the line."

"Fuck our career? What about our friendship?" I hiss as in continue to pace. "My real friends would back off and let me deal with my problems my way, not hire me a babysitter!"

"Don't even go their, Haner," Zack snaps. "You were the one who let all this get way out of control because you didn't bother to mention that you and Aubrey were engaged! Did you not think we would care? Damn it Brian, why didn't you tell us you were engaged?" Zack asks as he pulls out a ring from his pocket that I immediately recognize as Kaylyn's.

I snatch the ring away from Zacky and thats when I lose it. "BECAUSE IT WAS NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS!" I yell in his face and then punch the wall next to me. "If I wanted you to know ever god damn detail of my life, I would have told you! Now you all claim you want to help me? Well you can't! I'm a fucked up mess that you're going to have to deal with or fire, your choice!" I finish yelling as both Matt and Zack open their mouths to speak. "And no I'm not going to fucking talk about anything with any of you! You've now lost that privilege so back the fuck off!"

I can't stand the sight of my so called 'friends' anymore and I really need a drink. All of the events of the day are flooding my mind and I need to wash them away. I grab my keys out of the basket by the door and storm out. Try and reel me back now motherfuckers.

Zacky's POV

"Fuck," I hiss. I look out the window hoping to see Brian but he is no where to be seen. "This is the second meeting in a week that he has missed. Has anyone heard from, Haner?"

I look between Matt and Johnny and both of them shake their head. "I haven't heard from him and I know Jimmy has Pinkly." Johnny say as he picked up his bass. "Don't think he's been home all week."

"Where would he go?" Matt asks, looking between us.

The studio door suddenly opens and Jimmy walks in. "You brought this upon yourselves," he sighs, taking a seat next to me. "I told you not to push him too hard or else he'd crack."

"Where the hell is he?" I say after rolling my eyes. I am tired of the drama, though part of me feels bad. He's under a lot of pressure but none of us expected this from him. What happened to our friend? "Have you talked to him, Jimmy?"

Jimmy shrugs in response to my question. "Call him."

"Don't you think we've tried that?" Matt snaps. "All any of us get is voicemail."

Jimmy chuckles lightly. "Well you know what that means then, don't you?" I gap at him as he stands and heads to the fridge to get a beer. "Call back the person you fired and let her do her job. Her methods aren't kosher but hell she did more in one day than any of you did in three months."

I sign and put my face in my hands. Maybe I was to rash in my decision making last week. Jimmy is right, I need to call and beg Kaylyn to help us. I feel like the worlds biggest ass. I pull out my phone and dial her number.

"Hey Kaylyn, this is Zacky Vengeance. Look I was an asshole last week and overreacted and I'm sorry," I say quickly into the phone. I hate eating crow. "You were right, you do know what you're doing and because I didn't listen to you it seems we have a situation. We desperately need your help."

So where is Brian? Will Kaylyn pick up the phone or will Zacky go straight to voicemail. I hope Kaylyn can help find Brian!
