My dad, the rest of Metallica, and my band and I are now on a plane on our way to Europe. We've been flying for hours already and the captain of the plane said we'll be there very soon. I still don't even know who we're touring with because none of them have spoken about this tour since I first heard about it. I've been getting a lot of sleep on the plane and just having some time to myself. I look out the window and see that we're getting really low. It must mean we're landing soon! Thank God because I'm getting sick of being on this plane. I look over at my band members and they're all just sitting around and talking. Once the plane lands we all get off and head to the luggage drop off. We grab our luggage and head outside to a limo that's waiting to bring us to our hotel. We're in Spain right now so that's where our first show will be. We're staying in a hotel for a few days to get settled in before the concert. The limo drops us off outside the hotel and my dad takes his phone out to call someone.

“Hey you guys almost here? Oh good! Yeah we just got here now. We'll wait for you. Alright bye.”

He hangs up and smiles at all of us.

“Alright they'll be here in about a minute so we'll wait for them here.”

Who the fuck are “they” and why isn't anyone telling me who we're touring with?! I just roll my eyes and sit down on my suitcase. Eventually a tour bus rolls up in front of the hotel where we're waiting and the door opens. I see a few girls get off that I have no fucking clue as to who they are and then suddenly, I see who I never ever expected to see in my entire life. One by one the guys of Avenged Sevenfold get off the bus. I scream and jump off my suitcase. They all look over and I go over to my dad and slap him.

“Dad why didn't you tell me we're touring with my fucking idols?!”
“Surprise?” He smiles.

I scream and give him a giant hug. He laughs and hugs me back.

“You're welcome.”
“Thanks,” I grin up at him.

I look over at my band members and they all have smirks on their faces. I go over to them and punch them.

“You assholes knew, didn't you?!”
“Yup. We weren't allowed to say.”
“Yeah, but THIS one here nearly fucking blew it,” Joey points at Toby.
“Yeah. Dumbass.”

I just shake my head and laugh.

“You guys are all assholes for not telling me.”
“Hey! It was your dad's idea!”
“Ugh. Of course it was.”

I hear my dad laugh and then he goes over to greet the guys.

“How are you guys doing?”
“We're doing great! We didn't know you had a daughter!” (We're gonna pretend James Hetfield's real daughter's don't exist in this story. Hence why it's called a fan fic! :P)
“Yup. Her name's Becca. She's my pride and joy.”

I hear him and turn around.

“Ew, dad. That's so fucking weird to hear. Quit being so sappy.”

He laughs and motions me over.

“Come on. Come meet your idols.”

I look at him then at my band members. They just laugh and start pushing me over to them. I freeze as I get there and just stare at them all in shock. They all chuckle and smile.

“Hello Becca.”

I just stare at Matt without a word and Joey elbows me. I snap out of my trance and punch him in the face.

“Ow! Really?!”
“Don't touch me, dude. I've told you a million times before, any guy that lays a finger on me gets his fucking ass kicked. You know I hate it. Ever since G--”
“I don't wanna hear that assholes name, Becca.”
“I'm sorry dad,” I frown. “I forgot. It's just... you know...”
“I know. I'm sorry.”

I look up at the guys of Avenged Sevenfold and give them a slight smile.

“It's nice to meet you.”

I don't let them say anything. I just turn and walk away to grab my luggage. I bring it all inside and go to the front desk to get myself a room. The lady gives me my key and I head right up to it. I leave all my stuff on the floor and just jump onto the bed with my face in my pillow. That was so fucking awkward. I don't think I'm gonna show my face around those guys for a few days. Not until the night of the concert. I can imagine what's going through all of their minds right now. Probably think I have anger issues or something. Ugh this sucks.
