Arin’s POV
I was finishing up some work as Zack strolled into my office and sat down on the chair next to my desk, his the ankle of his one leg on his other knee. He was browsing through some papers lying on my desk.
“What do you want, Vengeance?”
“Not much, just bored and thought I would go and ask you if you have the forms Matt wanted me to fill in”
“You must be really bored if you are planning on doing your paperwork” I chuckled, opening the little filing cabinet below my desk to grab the folder Zack needed.
The second I came back up and looked at Zack, I knew I was in trouble. Zack had his hands on a piece of paper, a piece of paper with the logo of the Big Bear Resort on it, the piece of paper with the confirmation of Joe and Matt’s stay.

“What’s this kid? Did you make the wrong reservation?”
“Yeah, I did, stupid me!” I tried to grab it from his hands, but he was faster and he rushed out of my office to the kitchen where Johnny sat.
“Zack, give that back! Not everyone needs to know I make mistakes” I ran after him, trying to save this secret from getting out, but as soon as I came into the kitchen I knew it was too late. Zack had a huge smirk on his face and his phone to his ear.
“Yeah.. Brian? Z here… You better come down, I have something that will brighten your day”
I stood close to Zack, trying to grab the sheet of paper from his hands
“Zack, please, give that back to me”
He shook his head, as he watched Brian coming down the stairs, Jacky only steps behind him. I sat down at the table, my head in my hands. Shit! Matt was going to kill me.
“What is it?” Brian asked, walking directly over to Zack, trying to look at the piece of paper, but I could see Zack was going to make a spectacle of it.
“Nah ah, this is my discovery. Please listen to me, telling the beautiful story of Mr. and Mrs. Sanders”
I groaned, not even looking at the others anymore and I felt Jacky’s hand on my back
“Are you okay, Arin?” She whispered and I could only shake my head.

“Brian, if you would go to Vegas, would you make reservations at Big Bear Resort?”
Brian looked at Zack confused “Why would I? It’s still a 3.5 hour drive?”
“Yes! And if you have some business meetings, that would be highly inconvenient, right?”
“Yeeesssss” Brian replied annoyed, not knowing where this leading.
“And if you plan on going there with… let’s say, one of your protection subjects, you make reservations for a lunch with a table ‘not to be disturbed’ and the same goes for the cabin you are renting for a few days, it’s a little weird right?”
Brian’s eyes grew wider and wider with every word spoken and now even Jacky was listening in. I looked at Zack, who was now heading for the big finale.
“Then imagine what you would think of this whole story if you find out the reservations are made for Mr. and Mrs. Sanders”
“Holy fuck!” Brian yelled out, rushing over to Zack to look at the piece of paper.

“Matt rented a cabin for his parents on company costs?” Johnny’s reply came a little too late, as if the story only just got through to him. Zack whacked him against the back of his head.
“No you dipshit! It’s Matt! And Joe!”
“That asshole was giving me a hard time, while he did the same! Oh hell! I’m going to call him right fucking now!”
“Wait! Zack grabbed his hand and pushed it down, motioning Brian to put the phone down ”We can have fun with this, don’t ruin it!”
Brian sat down next to Jacky “It all falls in to place now though” he looked at Jacky, who nodded with an understanding look on her face.
“The morning I bumped into him in the hallway, when I came out of your room. He was coming out of Joe’s room, but I was just feeling to guilty to register correctly”
“Yeah, and that one time we were all cooking dinner together, after those guys almost took me…. I thought I saw Matt holding Joe’s hand under the table, but I was sooooo sure I must have imagined it” Jacky added, thinking back at that specific moment.

I have had my own ‘aha’- moments, but they were staying safely in my head, I knew better than to let them out, I knew Matt would have enough ammo to kill me after all of this.
“And I thought I drank too much….“ Johnny said quietly.
“You always drink too much, short shit, you need to be a little more specific” Zack and Brian teased Johnny, but both looked at him curiously.
“That night, we went to the club, you and Jacky went home early and Zack hooked up with that girl”
“Ah yeah, that was a good night, I should shoot her a text” Zack thought out loud, grabbing his phone, doing exactly that immediately.
“Well, I stood outside on my balcony and I saw Matt and Joe walking in the garden, they were holding hands and Joe was giggling”
“My sister was giggling?? What the hell is your friend doing to her?” She looked from Brian to Zack and back again, amazed look at her face
“Yeah, she was giggling, so I thought she just made up excuses to not go out with us, but when I came down, they were acting real weird. I just thought I did something wrong to annoy Matt” Johnny ended. Lost in thought again.

Zack had grabbed his phone again and pushed some buttons
“Let’s see what they did that night, if they went out, they used a creditcard, right?”
He was scrolling through some things “Nope… nothing on the company card….. Nothing on Matt’s personal one”
My head snapped up “Does he know you have access to that?”
“No, and he doesn’t have to know either” he looked at me pointedly while he pushed and slide a little more.
“AHA! ‘Giovanni’s’ and ‘Arcade Heaven’, someone was definitely trying to get into Matt’s pants!” Zack let out triumphant.
“Joe’s?” Brian asked
“Joe’s!” Zack confirmed with a smile, he seemed to think of something more and chuckled “Damn, I think I almost caught them doing something the day before yesterday. I came through the hallway and saw them standing real close to each other… I thought they were fighting again, but come to think of it… those weren’t angry glances at all. That sneaky bastard!”
“You can say that again” Brian muttered.

Joe’s POV
Matt was softly snoring next to me and I propped myself up on my elbow to look at him. He was so handsome and looked so peaceful, and best of all, he was all mine. I couldn’t control myself and let my finger softly glide over his face, he didn’t wake up and just wiggled his nose a little. I suppressed a little giggle as I quietly made my way out of the bed.

Our suitcases where delivered in the cabin, but even though we were here for almost two days now, we hadn’t even looked at it, except for getting our toothbrushes. The permanent smile on my face only grew wider when I looked around the room. Empty plates and glasses were lying around everywhere, seeing we hadn’t left the cabin, just ordered roomservice. It seemed silly to get dressed and I was convinced we wouldn’t have been able to make it through dinner without undressing each other again. That was exactly what happened all the previous times we had dinner in the cabin.

I got some clothes and my toiletries and headed for the bathroom, steeling one more glance at the sleeping man in my bed.

As I stepped under the steaming hot water I couldn’t help but think about Matt and the relationship we were having. It was clear to me that this was serious and possibly even forever, I never felt this way, not with Julian, not with the men before him. All my previous relationships seemed unimportant compared to this one. A man that loved me with all my quirks, a man that wasn’t intimidated by my success, a man that was willing to share his life with me and gave me room enough to share mine with him. I didn’t even notice I held my breath until I let it out with a long and relieving sigh. What had I done to deserve him?

I shaved my legs and started washing my hair, when I heard the glass door open and strong hands were wrapped around my body.
“That’s so unfair you went for a shower without me” Matt muttered while he moved behind me and massaged my scalp, washing my hair.
“Hmmm… If I would have known this was part of the deal, I would have woken you” I let out with a hoarse voice.
“This is always part of the deal, honey”
Matt’s hands were moving all over my body now, spreading the showergel he had put on his hands. He made sure to not miss a single spot, giving extra attention to my breasts and thighs. When I was all soaped up I turned the tables and let my hands wander over his body. He had such an amazing body, his muscles so hard, his body perfectly decorated with all his tattoos.
He let out a little moan and pushed his body to mine.
“Damnit Joe, I am so close to throwing out my plan again” he groaned with a smile “but come on, before we miss it”

He turned off the tap and help me step out of the shower, wrapping me in a large towel. As I dried myself, he did the same and he got dressed. He sat down on the bed and watched me get dressed to, letting out a sigh “Such a shame, covering that body with so many clothes”
I laughed and pushed his shoulder playfully “Come on, I can’t go through life naked from now on”
“Most definitely not, that is only for my eyes to see” he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me again. He could just kiss me all day, I would never ever have a problem with that. Matt broke the kiss and looked out of the window. He grabbed my hand, and pulled us out of the door, closing it behind us. “Come on, we are almost late”

We walked towards the lake and sat down on one of the benches looking out over the water. It had been a beautiful view during the day, but now the sun was setting on the opposite of where we were sitting and it was mesmerizing. Matt put his arm around me and I nestled myself to his body, my head on his shoulder. He softly caressed my arm as we watched the sun set, sitting in comfortable silence.

“I think we should tell everyone tomorrow when we get back” I let out quietly after the sun had set fully.
“Hmmm, are you sure?” Matt looked down on me, but I couldn’t stand meeting his eyes. I wanted to be strong and not be uncertain about his friends knowing about us, but when he looked at me, it was hard to not say anything.
“I think so, I don’t want to sneak around now we are serious. I want everyone to know I love you” Matt bend down to kiss me, but held his hand under my chin when he broke the kiss, forcing me to look at him. And like so many times before he looked right through me.
“What is it, Joe?” his voice sounded worried.
“Nothing” I said, trying to get out of his grip.
“Are you seriously already starting with that ‘Nothing’ crap? Tell me”
He let me lean back to his shoulder again, getting away from his intense stare.
“I… I just… I don’t know. What if your friends don’t like me? They live in one house with you” I let out stammering. Matt replied with a deep laugh.
“Why do you think that!? They like you, they already accepted you, I never had a more easy job in introducing a woman to my friends than that I have now”
My head snapped up at him “Did you have to do that often?”
“Do you really want to talk numbers now?” His brow cocked as he looked at me and I shook my head.

After a few minutes of silence, Matt spoke up again
“Don’t worry Joe, they will love you, they will accept you, they will be happy for us. I just know it, they are my brothers, they want me to be happy. More important question is…”
I looked at him in question
“Will your sister accept that I’m off the market?” His evil smirk made me laugh hard, enjoying the moment. It might not be as easy as Matt made it seem, but I think I was ready for all of it, as long as he was with me.
