It was 9.30 and I was almost too happy. I received weird looks from Arin and Zack who were having breakfast in the kitchen as I came in, greeting them with a enthusiastic ´Goodmorning´.

“Are you not available? I mean, you can work when Joe works, right?” his eyes were boring into mine as if he knew something

“Goodmorning”

Arin had already put Joe’s bag in the car and the engine was running. He held the door open for Joe and waited for me to get in “Have fun you two… Enjoy yourself” he quickly added with a smile before he closed her door.
As I drove out of the gates, I looked over to Joe…. I would definitely enjoy myself.

Joe’s POV
Matt didn’t want to tell me where we were heading at first, but as soon as I saw that he was following the signs to Big Bear Lake, it was no surprise anymore. I was amazed by the scenery, I had never been here and the closer we got to the resort we were going, the more I knew I would really be enjoying myself here.
We pulled up at the hotel and I got out, looking around, taking all of the surroundings in, until Matt came into view, pulling me up to him, kissing me hungrily.

We walked over to the reception.

“Hello mr. and mrs. Sanders, we are all ready for you in our restaurant”

“Mr. Sanders, a lunch was booked with your reservation, please follow Jeffrey to your table. If you hand me your car keys, we will make sure all your baggage will be available in your cabin when you are done”
Matt sighed deeply and handed the keys to the girl and looked at me in desperation.
“They are fucking still cockblocking me” Matt muttered under his breath as we followed ‘Jeffrey’ to our table. I chuckled and put my hand on the one he was holding me with.
“We have plenty of time, we need to eat first, build up our strength” He looked down on me and kissed the top of my head.
“You better eat quick”

The lunch was amazing, we soon realized Arin’s motives had been nothing but nice. He had requested a table in a corner so we wouldn’t be disturbed and even the waiters kept their distance, giving Matt and me all the space we needed.
