Matt’s POV
Another day and a lot of work was waiting for me. I must say that through that little Hawaii trip I had to let my work slip a little bit.

I walked to the kitchen and was surprised that coffee was already made. I didn’t question it any further, was just thankful for whoever couldn’t sleep anymore in this house either.
Now, I would shut myself into my office and finally catch up with the work. The whole Joe moving in thing had me distracted for way too long and she cost me too much business time already.

I opened my office door and stood still, taking in the view presented to me.

“Hey Trish, yes… It’s me.. Sorry no time for that, can you e-mail me the newest version of the contract? Perfect, thanks.” She put the headphone away and walked around the desk sitting down and typing on her laptop without even glancing at me again.

“So Arin, got everything set up to your liking?” I asked and she didn’t look up just nodded.
“Yeah, he did an awesome job.” She kept typing, not giving me one look at all. I stood there, looking down on her angry typing, her fingers didn’t only move fast over the keyboard, she was slamming into them with increasing force.
“Can I help you with anything else? Because things like this” she motioned her hand between her and me “are keeping me from running my multimillion dollar company” her voice was icey when she repeated almost the same words I had used on her yesterday. So she was still pissed about that, huh?I finally moved away, set my coffee on the table and planned on getting to work myself. Maybe it was best if she was mad at me, that would make it easier to get rid of all the thoughts in my head. I opened my laptop and started on my e-mails, trying to ignore the fact that I could look right into her the top of her dress from where I was sitting.

Brian’s POV
I was thinking of a way to give Jacky a small joy, I had been thinking about it all day.
I wanted to do something for her, I didn’t really know why but I wasn’t getting this thought out of my head.
So now I was just thinking what I could get her, what would she need?
Maybe I should drive to her apartment and get her something from her home?

Yesterday it was nearly happening, if Arin wouldn’t have ruined the moment.

I walked up to Jacky’s room, it was evening already, I tried to keep my distance to her all day, haven’t seen any of the others around either.

Matt had himself shut in his office and I think Joe was with him also working, workaholics, both of them.
So that meant now I would take my chance, tell her I would get her some of her stuff.
That was when a thought struck my head, her laptop. She would want that.
We have packed clothes and everything up, but we left her laptop there.
That’s it, perfect, Haner.
I grinned and knocked on the door waiting for Jacky to call me in.
“Come in.”
I opened the door and grinned finding her on the bed remote in hand flipping through the channels.
“Hey.”I closed the door and she looked up to me.
“Hey.” She put the remote aside and crawled over the bed and sat down at the edge, making me want to push her back on the mattress and finally have what’s mine.

I frowned a little at the thought and shook my head. “I thought I could get you-” I started when a knock sounded on the door and the door flew open.
Arin walking in, that little fucker again…
“Hey Jack, look I got something for you” He doesn’t seem to acknowledge me standing near the bed and just walked to Jack handing her a bag.
“Is that my laptop?” She asked excitedly and I frowned even more.
Fucking hell, that little prick, stole my idea.
“Yes, you said you needed to work, so I drove to your home and got it for you.” Arin smiled at her and then his eyes turned to me and I narrowed my eyes on him.
“Oh hey.. Brian.. what’s up?” He quickly looked back at Jack who got up from the bed, set the laptop aside and jumped into Arin’s arms who caught her and she kissed his cheek.
“Thank you. I needed that.. thank you” Jacky laughed and Arin chuckled lightly.
That should have been me, why did seeing that feel so bad?
I wanted to be the one to make her happy!
I needed to get rid of Arin and make her concentrate completely on me, but I knew I needed to be patient. All this… Everything I wanted from her, with her, I wasn’t going to lay that all out on the table.

Matt’s POV
We have been working for hours now, or rather I tried to work for a couple of hours, but Joe was making me crazy. I tried to ignore her being there, just like she had with me, but even though she ignored me completely, she had made it her sole purpose this day to irritate the shit out of me.
When I was talking on the phone with a customer, she had picked up her phone too, she was loud and I couldn’t concentrate on getting one straight sentence over the line, so I made a point in only taking calls on speaker, silencing her finally with that.
I saw her narrowed eyes every time I got a call and I had to hold back the smirk.
I still had control, but I felt it slipping away more and more.

I glanced up, seeing Joe pacing before my desk, she was apparently in a heated discussion with a one of her colleagues, her cheeks flushed and the muscles in her neck were tense. Her walking quickly back and forth made her dress swing up and I could get a view of her thighs every now and then…

“Arin, I need to talk to Brian for a bit, thank you so much for the laptop and I will talk to you later, okay?” her voice was soft, but firm and Arin just gave her a look before he left without any protests.
