Matt’s POV
There I was again, toe to toe with Joe, our bodies almost touching. I didn’t know how this happened every time, but I seemed to find myself in this position more than a few times a day. She was giving me a death glare, her lips pursed into one small, tight line.
In the back of my mind I heard Jacky yelling at Brian, but I wasn’t really registering what she was saying.
“You need to quit putting your nose into business that doesn’t concern you!” Joe’s ice cold voice broke our staring contest, as she stepped away from me with that remark
“If you are screaming under my roof, it is all of my business”
The minute I spoke those words, I became aware of the double meaning of that sentence. Joe’s eyes shot up at me, did she notice too? I couldn’t believe myself, why was I this attracted to her, but that annoyed with her at the same time too?
“Leave. I don’t want you around, you dragged me here and there is nothing I can do about it. I just want to have as little to do with all of you as I can possibly manage, seeing that seems to be the only choice I have.”
That voice again, that voice that made me want to shake some sense into her. She was so annoyed all the time, nothing seemed to make her happy. I knew there were some troubles between her and her sister, but this was something else. She seemed even more irritated than usual, was this what her sister did to her? Or was it the whole office thing?
I looked over at the little desk in her room, papers everywhere, laptop crammed in the middle. She was right, I wouldn’t be able to work like that either.

“Arin?” I knew he would still be right there where he was when we stormed in, breaking this up, he didn’t disappoint me.
“Yeah?”
I didn’t turn to look at him, I just looked at Joe, I wanted to see her reaction to what I was about to say.
“Take Zack and clear out the table in my office, the one we have our meetings at, get that desk out of the basement and let Johnny install everything he put up for me to, phone, LAN, the works” I looked at Joe, her eyes widened. “You need anything else beside that?” she carefully shook her head.
“Good, that will be it” I heard Arin move at the door “Oh, Arin? I want it done by the end of the day”
“That will give you some trouble in using your office today”
“That’s how it is, just get it done, oh last thing, would you check on Jacky? You two seem to get along, I think she can use a friend”
I looked over my shoulder and saw him nod as he walked out, closing the door at the same time.

“Thank you”
I turned around and looked at Joe, she was saying the words, but I could hear something completely opposite of it.
“What now?” I was getting sick of this attitude of hers, nothing was good enough formiss Thompkinson.
She took a few steps towards me and started counting down fingers again.
“1. Jacky won’t need a friend, you should keep an eye on your men, my sister isn’t “friends” with men, she will only cause trouble, just like she did this morning by not leaving me alone. 2. You want me tosharean office with you? That is just… just…. “
“What Joe?! That is just what?! You are only complaining, you never accept the solution I’m giving you and to be honest, I’m done. I want to make this as easy as possible for you, but it’s never good enough. And to add to that, what you are saying about your sister is just rude, and not alone for her, but for my friends too. Maybe you should change your ways a little, maybe you’ll get someone to like you someday”
With that I turned around and headed for the door, I wasn’t lying, I was done with her, she was the pain in the ass, not her sister, but I didn’t even get a chance to take one step, Joe had walked around me and looked at me. She had so many emotions in her eyes, that I didn’t know what to expect from her.

“How do you do it? How can you run a business like this? Without any conventions, without all these ways that are opposite of everything I learned at business school? Tell me, I can’t take it, how do you do it?”
There was something pushy in her questions, she really didn’t understand and it was driving her crazy. I let out a smirk, there she was again, the woman that confused my feelings. I looked down at her, not saying a word.
She started mumbling, as if she was having a dialogue with herself out loud “You annoy me, but I can’t help myself”
With that she stepped forward and crashed her lips on mine, her arms around my neck, holding on as if it was dear life. I put my arms around her waist and pulled her close to me. Not deepening the kiss, just our lips, fitting perfectly together. I couldn’t let myself get caught up in this, but I wanted too so badly…. But I couldn’t. I gently pushed her away from me.
“You want to know why my business is successful? Because I don’t do things like this” I motioned between us and took the last few steps to the door and head out.
As soon as I closed the door I let out a deep sigh, what the hell was this woman doing to me?

Brian’s POV
I was almost out of the door when I felt a small hand in mine, pulling me back.
“Don’t….” I let out on a breath, but it was already too late, Jacky pushed the door close and pushed me against it, her body formed to mine and I felt her hands on my face, her lips on mine, softly touching, testing the water.
This was never a winning game for me, never, I could only stay away from her, because I wasn’t able to stop her as soon as she touched me. I put hands on her hips and turned us around, putting her to the door, my teeth tugging her lips slightly, my tongue licking to get in. As soon as she opened her mouth I let out a sigh and let my tongue explore her mouth, she tasted so good, I wasn’t sure I would ever be able to quit her.

Our kiss grew more hungry, more wet, open mouths, moans in pleasure, I felt her hands under my shirt, stroking my back and it wasn’t long before I felt her hands move into the back of my pants, her hands squeezing my ass.
“Jacky… don’t…” She didn’t stop, but I couldn’t blame her, I wasn’t even convincing myself. I placed kisses on her jaw and her neck, I couldn’t stop, my mouth movedon it’s own accord, and so were my hands.
My left hand was cupping her breast over her shirt and I let my right index finger move lightly over her neck, down to her body, where I used my full hand again. My hand reached the waistband of her sweatpants, and I slid in without any effort… it was too easy, too damn easy, how would I even be able to resist her like this?
Her panties were wet and I cupped her heat, my thumb was massaging her clit through the fabric and Jacky was softly cursing in my ear.

I would have taken her there, right against the door if I hadn’t heard Arin calling my name
“BRIAN! Come down, we need your help”
“FUCK!” I let my head lean against hers “We can’t do this anymore, Matt will kill me” I said quietly, I looked her deeply in her eyes “But I can’t stay away from you…”
“BRIAN!!!” Arin again, I heard him coming up the stairs.
“We just need to find another way, okay?”
She nodded and I gave her one last kiss before I took a deep sigh and opened the door, leaving Jacky with a confused look in her eyes, reflecting all the feelings I was having.

Joe’s POV
What have I been thinking? Kissing him?
He was just sooo damn annoying and sexy at the same time.
How am I supposed to stay clear headed when he was acting all bossy on me?
I didn’t like that...
Okay, fine. I did... way too much.

“Josephine?” I heard a voice behind me and looked towards the door.
I had heard some rummaging around downstairs, guessing they were already setting everything up for me to have a work station and Arin had took my laptop earlier as well.
Arin stood in the doorway not really certain if he should come in or better run away, could I blame him?!
Poor little guy, he must be around the age of my sister.
And after the fight Jacky and I just had he must be thinking the worst of us anyway...
But still maybe I should warn him off her, you never knew what Jacky was up to and I didn’t want Arin to get hurt.
“Come in, Arin.” I told him and he nodded with a shy smile.
“The set up of your office is almost done, would you like me to give you a short instruction and give you the main information to start everything?” Arin asked and I felt the need to say something else to him first.
“Arin, I’m sorry… for earlier… and thank you for setting everything up.” He smiled his boyish smile at me and nodded.
“Don’t worry. It’s okay. Finally we have some action here, right?” He grinned and I had to chuckle a little.
“I would really like for you to give me an instruction.” I said and got off my bed and walked with him out of my room and stood in the office.
Johnny was standing at the desk looking satisfied with himself.
“All set, you can work now.” He nodded at Arin and left us alone.
I looked over to Matt’s desk and found it empty and felt a little disappointed.

Arin gave me the main instruction on how everything was set up and even that my office phone was redirected to this phone now, so I would get all the necessary calls right here without any failure.
“Oh and I got a little something for you.” Arin walked out of the office and came back in with a headphone in his hands.
“Here I am using that as well, it’s really helpful. You have your hands free to write or do other things, while talking.” He handed me the headphone and helped me adjust it.
“Thanks, that’s really nice.”
“Arin, can I… hm… ask you something?” I looked at him and he nodded, closing the door behind him.
“Sure, sounds serious.”
“I just wanted to tell you to be careful with Jacky, she is… not very… hm how do I put it..” I was searching for the right words when Arin opened his eyes wide and began to shake his head.
“No.. no no no. We became friends… nothing else. I felt a connection with her, we agreed on being siblings.” Arin winked at me.
“Which would make me your brother as well.”
I smiled at him and nodded “Sounds good to me, little brother.”
“Come on, I will show you another trick or two on the office programs that you have access to now you are also hooked up on our servers and on the headphones, so you will have an easier job with it. I really like to work on the computer from time to time, so let’s see what I can teach you…” Arin grinned and I felt myself smile more then I have in the last time.
“Or the other way around.” I told Arin and he smirked.
“We will see.”

He showed me a few useful things and he indeed was able to teach me one or two things. After a little while he left me to it. He turned around one last time when he was already half way out the door.
“Just tell me if you need anything Josephine, Matt uses me for everything, so I know my way around. If I can do anything for you, just let me know, I will do my best to make it as easy as possible for you.”
I smiled, he really was a nice kid, we would come along just fine.

Uh Oh, didt Matt really just turned Joe down? And seriously Brian... almost jumping Jack with Matt in the other room?
