Adoption of the Christ

‘Are you ready for court?’ I heard Johnny ask and I turned around to see him dressed really nice, I smiled and nodded then grabbed my bag and we headed out and over to the court house. I was dressed in a skirt, shirt and booties. My hair was down and straight and I wasn’t wearing any makeup because I really didn’t feel like it ‘don’t worry, everything will be fine’ Johnny whispered as we sat in the back and waited for our names to be called, I nodded a little and rested my head on his shoulder ‘Seward?’ the judge called, I took a deep breath and we walked up to the front and stood behind the tables, my mother was on the other side doing to same thing

‘Ms. Seward?’ ‘Yes?’ my mom and I both called out, the judge looked back down to the paper ‘Cass’ ‘yes sir?’ I said softly, he looked over at me and nodded a bit ‘why are you here today?’ ‘Well your honor, I’d like to live with my step brother and I’d like him to adopt me’ ‘why’s that?’ ‘I couldn’t stand being at home anymore because my mother hit me and yelled at me every day’ ‘liar!’ ‘hush!’ the judge yelled then looked back over at me ‘is your step brother here now?’ ‘Yes your honor, this is him’ I said then motioned to Johnny, he nodded a little then looked back down at his papers ‘rock star?’ he asked with a little smile then looked back up at us ‘yes sir, I play in a band named Avenged Sevenfold so I have more than enough means to take care of Cass and my band mates have been my best friends for as long as I can remember, they’re basically Cass’s brothers also and they love her just as much as I do’

‘And you have no problem taking care of this young lady until she turns 18?’ ‘No sir, I’ve been taking care of her since our parents got married’ ‘ok then, I see no problem with you living with your step brother Ms. Seward, once you turn 18 the adoption will be up and you may do whatever you wish but I’d never like to see you in my court again’ he smiled, I smiled big and nodded ‘thank you so much your honor’ ‘you're very welcome, next case’ he said and banged his hammer. Johnny and I left the room then went to pay the court fees, once we got out of the building I jumped him and he twirled me around then put me back down ‘how about we go get some lunch?’ he asked and I nodded, he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and we walked back to the car then drove over to Friday’s.

We got a booth in the back and ordered some drinks then started looking over the menu ‘what do you say that after this we go home, change then go down to the beach and walk on the board walk’ ‘that sounds perfect’ I smiled and he smiled back and nodded. Our drinks came and we both ordered a burger and fries for lunch ‘so, since you're my guardian, I can get a tattoo right?’ I asked and he chuckled a little and nodded ‘sure, why not’ ‘great, can we go tomorrow?’ ‘Why not, it’ll be fun’ he smiled, I smiled back then we just talked about nothing really as we ate.

When we got home the guys were actually in the house waiting for us to get home ‘I could have sworn I locked the door’ I said as we walked in, they all looked over at me and gave me big goofy grins ‘so I'm guessing the judge said yes?’ Matt asked and I nodded with a little smile ‘YAY!!!’ they all yelled and hugged me tight, I laughed and made them get off after a minute ‘so not that we don’t love you guys but we kinda wanna spend the afternoon together’ Johnny said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders ‘oh, ok, we’ll just go see a movie or something’ Jimmy said a little sadly ‘how about you guys come with us tomorrow when I get my tattoo?’ I asked and they all brightened up a little and nodded then they left ‘I'm gonna go change and pack something’s’ I said and Johnny nodded then followed me upstairs so he could change into his trunks.

I changed into my Aztec colored bikini then threw on some black shorts after I put sunscreen on my legs. I slipped on my flip flops then pack something’s into a back pack, I threw my hair up in a bun and pulled some hair out on the sides to look cute then I grabbed my sunglasses and walked back downstairs ‘whoa there’ I heard and I turned to see Johnny in black trunks without a shirt ‘whoa there yourself’ I smiled, he smiled back and walked over to me, I bit my lip a little and handed him the sunscreen ‘get my back?’ ‘Only if you get mine’ he said and I nodded so we both lathered each other up then finally left after grabbing some water bottles.

When we got to the beach Johnny put his sunglasses on and we started walking around ‘I hope you know that hardcore fans are going to notice your tattoos’ I whispered in his ear, he laughed a little and nodded ‘I know but it’s ok I guess, once we get on the actual beach we shouldn’t be bothered’ ‘true now let’s go in here’ I said and pulled him into the piercing shop ‘oh no’ ‘hey’ I pouted, he smiled and kissed my head then grabbed my hand and we started walking around and looking at the posters on the walls of different piercings ‘you think we should have invited the guys?’ ‘Nah, then you would have all gotten mobbed and I would’ve been left in the dust’ I said and he just nodded in understanding ‘you gonna get pierced?’ he asked and I shrugged ‘maybe after we come out of the water or tomorrow’ ‘okie dokie, well lets go in the water then’ he said and I nodded and we walked out of the shop hand in hand and over to the beach.

We picked a spot kind of away from everyone for obvious reasons then we laid out the towels I packed and got in the water for at least an hour and just fucked around then we went back and laid out ‘so what do you wanna get done tomorrow?’ Johnny asked, I turned over and laid on my tummy but had my arms propping me up so I could look over at him ‘I wanna get something Alice in Wonderland related’ ‘the cartoon?’ ‘Of course’ I smiled, he smiled back and nodded ‘Where at?’ ‘I was thinking my side that way if I ever do wanna get a job I can hide it and it’ll be sweet to look at when I wear a bikini or a crop top’ I said and he nodded again and we just stayed and talked all afternoon into the night then decided to go home after grabbing some candy from the candy shop.

When we finally did get home we showered and changed for bed then watched a movie together. After it was over Johnny decided to go to bed and I stayed up and sketched out my tattoo which I thought was good but I'm no artist so I don’t know. But anyways, I left the drawing on the table, shut everything off then went up to my room, I pulled off my sweat pants because I hated sleeping in them so I was just wearing a gray tank and my panties then I crawled under the covers and passed out around midnight.
