Adoption of the Christ

When I woke up the next day it was like 5 am ‘ok then’ I whispered when I realized I’d slept all afternoon into the night and never woke up. But anyways, I got up and used the potty, brushed my teeth then headed downstairs. I looked out the window and saw that all the guys had gone so I'm guessing they went home last night, I grabbed myself some coffee then went out on the back porch and just watched the sunrise and had a smoke. It was really nice, I wish I lived here instead of at home but I guess that wasn’t going to happen until I turned 18 and could live wherever I wanted. ‘Hey’ I heard and I turned to see Johnny standing there in his boxers with his hair a mess

‘Hey’ I smiled, he smiled back and walked over and sat next to me, I leaned against him and he wrapped his arm around me, I also handed him the rest of my coffee because I didn’t want it ‘did you try waking me up yesterday?’ ‘Nah I just let you be, I knew you didn’t sleep the night before’ ‘thanks’ ‘mhm, how long have you been up?’ ‘Since 5, I even got to watch the sunrise’ ‘wow’ he said and I nodded then looked up at him a little, he looked down at me and kissed my forehead which made me smile ‘want breakfast?’ ‘Not yet’ ‘okie dokie, wanna go watch some tv until you want breakfast?’ I asked and he nodded with a little smile, I smiled also and we went into the kitchen so he could grab some more coffee then we went into the living room and decided on cartoons.

In the next few weeks I was a little cut off from everyone but only because it was midterms and I was killing myself with studying, that’s what I was doing right now actually. My hair was up in a very messy bun, I had my glasses on and I was in a sports bra, muscle shirt and sweat pants. I had my head in my math book and note book trying to make sure I had these problems down, have I mentioned I haven’t slept in like two days? No? Well I haven’t ‘Cassybear?’ I heard but I didn’t look up, I knew it was Jimmy because he’s the only one that calls me that ‘huh’ ‘come play’ ‘can't’ ‘but’ ‘go away’ ‘JOHNNY!’ he screamed and I just rolled my eyes ‘what?’ ‘Cassybear is being mean’ ‘she’s busy, I've already tried talking to her’ ‘but I want her to come play’ ‘let her finish studying’ ‘shut up!’ I yelled and turned to look at them; they looked at me, pouted a little then left and shut my door. I sighed and put my hands over my face but shook it off and finally finished with math which I was very very happy about and I think I actually had it down.

Now for my English midterm I just had to write a paper, which I did and it really only took threeish hours from topic to research to the draft then actually writing it and I was finally finished studying because yesterday I did History and I didn’t have a gym midterm, we just had another fitness test and that was it. I put everything away then went downstairs and into the kitchen where I saw my mom so I turned and walked back out but she saw me ‘Hey!’ she called and I sighed and walked back ‘what’ ‘don’t what me, you haven’t done anything for two days!’ ‘I was studying for midterms’ ‘I don’t care! You're supposed to be doing what I want you to do!’ she yelled and I just rolled my eyes and went to walk away but she grabbed my arm really hard to stop me

‘DON’T FUCKING TOUCH ME!’ I screamed as I finally lost it and we got into a fist fight because I wasn’t taking her shit anymore. We were on the floor fighting when the guys walked in, they tore us apart but we were still screaming at each other ‘FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING BITCH! I’M DONE TAKING YOUR FUCKING BEATINGS!’ I screamed and Johnny looked over at me then at her ‘you beat her?’ ‘She fucking deserved it!’ ‘How the fuck did I deserve getting beat when I did everything for you and you couldn’t get off your fat lazy ass to fucking do it yourself!’ I yelled and we started going back and forth again until I was taken up to my room by Matt throwing me over his shoulder.

When we got to my room I just started yelling, ranting and pacing because it’s the only thing I could do ‘Cass….Cass…..Cass!’ I heard and I looked over at Matt, he placed his hands on my shoulders and looked down at me ‘calm down’ he said softly, I nodded a little and took a deep breath then I just started pacing. After a few minutes the rest of the guys walked into my room and Johnny walked over to me and hugged me tight, I hugged back and just laid my head on his chest ‘come on, pack up your stuff, you're not living here anymore’ he whispered and I looked up at him, he smiled and kissed my forehead, I smiled back and hugged him tighter making him laugh a little ‘come on, we’ll help’ Zack said and I nodded then pulled a few suitcases out of my closet, even if I didn’t fill them all I still had to bring them anyway because they were mine and I wasn’t leaving anything of mine here because I knew I wasn’t coming back.

Once I was all packed up I made sure I had everything then we all packed up Matt’s suburban, Johnny and I got into his car, the others got into the suburban and we headed over. They helped me put everything into the guest room and unpack then I finally got a shower and dressed in a black bra and thong, black leggings with bones on them and a black crop top that said punk in white letters, I went downstairs and we all ordered pizza for lunch but we didn’t do too much after that, I apologized for being a bitch to them while I was studying and they said it was ok and that they understood. Also sometime next week Johnny and I would be going to court so he could adopt me, I'm only 15 after all and I really didn’t want anything to do with my mother. But anyways, I went to bed around 8:30 just because I haven’t slept in two days and with the fight this morning I was absolutely drained and I wouldn’t be surprised if I slept the rest of the weekend.
