Erin’s P.O.V

It was hectic since Raven and River came into the world and of course the girls were set with the decision that I was set with… sending their children to Heaven… because of course… it was dangerous here. It worried me that I hadn’t heard from Papa Gates in a while. I was outside with everyone and I walked over to Matt who was watching Val play with River.

“Can we talk?” I asked and he nodded and kissed Val and we walked down the block.

“What’s up Erin?” He asked knowing that right now everything was hard since my sister took Colby away and Zack ran away.

“I feel like… in my gut… something terrible is going to happen and soon” I said and we just kept walking and he just sat there thinking to himself. He was mainly gazing at the ground and I stopped him as I stopped suddenly as I felt a rumble go through the ground and all of the sudden the ground cracked in front of us and Matt grabbed me and pulled me backwards away from it.

“What the fuck is going on?” Matt asked but I knew that it was more of an out loud thing. I turned to him and looked terrified.

“Go… you need to have Ellie move the kids… I don’t want them to get hurt Matt… I just couldn’t stand it” I said to him and he just stood there.

“No Erin I am not going to fucking leave you here alone with a unknown issue!! Are you fucking nuts!” He yelled at me and I pushed him away and stumbled a little from the quaking.

“GO!” I yelled and he ran back towards our street and I sat there trying not to fall and backed up as the ground fell to pieces. I was confused and then Jake was lifted out of there in thin air and moved towards me and I stood there holding my ground. The winds picked up outside and I just looked around at the sudden weather change and had to admit that this was a fucked up situation in which I was crazy to face along. I backed up a little and Jake came in front of me placing his feet on the ground.

“You gonna make me chase you again Erin?” He asked looking at me absolutely no expression on his face.

“No… this time I am just going to stand up for myself” I said and he just laughed.

“Erin you are so stupid… why would you try and stand up for yourself?” He asked and I just stood there and thought to myself for a moment… my son was taken from me by my sister, my husband ran from the situation… The gang had other obligations… I was stuck in what I started alone.

“Because right now I have nothing left… Papa Gates plan has left me without a son and without a husband. So if you want me then you better take me…” I said and he grabbed my arm and I just looked down and then drove me other hand up hearing his nose crack and he fell backwards. I kicked him in the side and stopped and came backwards and he just stood up and wiped blood from his face and then ran over to me and pushed me to the ground sitting on top of my stomach. I kicked my leg hitting the back of his head causing him to fall over but as I moved away he grabbed my neck and I felt him bite at it and I cried out in pain and then turned and punched him and shot up and kicked him but he blocked it.

“Awe somebody still remembers how to fight… but let’s see you died like what? 4 times?” He said and I punched at him over and over getting a few punches in there… I was sick of being taken for granted by these bastards. I channeled my energy and it bursted brightly from my hands and threw him to the ground and I stood by him.

“Come on get up Jake!!” I yelled and he shot back up and kicked into a nearby lawn. I ran back over to him and punched in the stomach and then in the face and blood spattered and he kicked under my legs and I landed on top of him and I threw my arm towards his face.

“You are not getting me you stupid bastard!” I yelled and he turned over grabbing my neck but I shot my feet into his stomach and flung him high into the air and as he came down I felt a fire inside of me and I shot as much energy as I could out of my hands towards him as crashed down into the sidewalk making a huge hole. I stepped down into the hole where Jake was lying and I grabbed his neck and he just laughed.

“You have a lot of power Erin… you always have… but Papa Gates is too much for you” He spat in my face and I laughed taking him off guard.

“Remember when you explained yourself to me and mentioned that the only way that I was gonna be able to kill you was by cutting of your head with that beautiful golden dagger?” I purred at him getting right into his face and he just sat there for a moment and I felt his nails going into my stomach.

“You little bitch you don’t fucking have the guts” He said and pushed his claws further in and I heard them scrape against my ribs but I would not be fucking ruined by him. I imagined the dagger and then pulled back and with all my might motioned downwards through his neck making it dismember from his body and blood squirted all over my face and body and I felt the hole start to cave and I grabbed the edge and pulled myself up and out of there and suddenly it dropped and I stumbled to the ground and the cracks and missing street went back to the way it was before the incident. I stood there covered in blood and saw the whole band standing there.

“Jake is gone” I said rather in shock from it. They started coming near me and I just put my hand back and backed up a little.

“I think you should give me a minute” I said and they just backed up. I threw the dagger on the ground towards Matt. He picked up.

“Take that to my sister… make sure everyone is okay… I will be back soon” I said and with that I teleported to that one spot on the beach… the one part that I remembered most… the first time I died… where Zack and I became exclusive.. the place where I stepped into a new life…
