Tension

**Brian's POV**

We all pile onto the tour bus and start to get settled in and I see Alexis standing in the front clutching her bags, completely unsure of what to do. I stroll up and take the suitcase away from her and lead her towards the back of the bus, where we all sleep.

"Want to share a bunk?" I ask with a huge smile on my face but Jimmy walks by and grabs her bags away from me before she can answer.

"Lexi, you are staying with me" he grumbles and my smile turns instantly turns to a frown but I can tell she's disappointed too, so that's at least a plus.

I make up my bunk and decide to see if Alexis would want to relax and watch a movie with me so I poke my head in Jimmy's bunk but he's the only one in there at the moment. "Hey Jimbo, is Alexis around? I wanted to see if she would want to watch a movie... or something" I ask and he gives me a stern look.

"Bri, I love you like a brother so please let me stress this to you..... if you break my cousin's heart, I'm going to break your face" he scolds and I'm really starting to get pissed off that he really doesn't seem to trust me.

"Fuck man, I'm not going to hurt her....why do I have to keep telling you that!?!" I spit through gritted teeth at him just as Alexis makes her way back from the bathroom. I turn to face her and gently place a kiss on her lips causing Jimmy to growl out under his breath but I completely ignore him. "Hey beautiful, want to snuggle up and watch a movie?" I ask and she happily nods her head.

"Anything in particular you're in the mood for?" she asks and I have to fight the urge to tell her what I really want is her, because Jimmy would surely kill me.

I shrug my shoulders, "Nah, nothing in particular.... whatever you are in the mood for is fine" I reply and give her another kiss as Matt squeezes his way past us. I can see him give us a shocked look so I guess Jimmy didn't tell him that we are kind of a thing.

... oh well, I guess everyone find out in time because I don't plan on letting her go.

**Matt's POV**

Brian just kissed Alexis again since the night of her party, and I'm starting to wonder if he's actually got a death wish....I mean, he did it right in front of Jimmy and he's not exactly looking thrilled about it happening.

I wait until they disappear into the front of the bus and turn back to face Jimmy, "Dude, what is up with Brian and your cousin?" I ask and he lets out a harsh huff of air.

"Please, don't ask....I'm not really in the mood to discuss my best friend attempting to charm his way into my little cousin's pants" he growls and I hold my hands up in surrender and close his curtain before making my way into the kitchen area for a beer.

Alexis bounces in and puts a bag of popcorn in the microwave....she is smiling from ear to ear and I can't help but wonder if it's because of Brian or because she's excited about going on tour....hmmmm, I think I'll ask.

"So Lex, are you super excited to see the east coast or are you always this chipper?" I ask and she spins around to face me.

"I am....I've never seen it so I am bursting with excitement right now...but I have other reasons to be too" she says while letting her eyes drift in Brian's direction.

I turn her chin to face me, "Please be careful" I warn and see her smile turn to a frown and I can tell she wants to ask me what I'm warning her about so I decide to cut to the chase, "Brian is a good guy but he was a bit of a ladies man and I don't want to see you get hurt" I say and she shakes her head at me.

"Matt, I appreciate your concern but I don't think Brian will hurt me. He might have been a player when he was younger, but all of you guys had your playboy moments when you first made it big...it's true, some where worse than others, but I think he actually cares about me and I don't need to be lectured like a child about dating him." she states and turns her back to me to grab the popcorn.

I wrap my arms around her and lean my head on her shoulder, "I'm sorry, I don't think of you as a child" I mummer out and she sighs.

"Then please don't treat me like one" she whispers and turns back to face me.

I kiss her forehead and she rolls her eyes at me, "What?" I laugh, "I kiss Val like that sometimes too, so I'm not treating you like a baby" I say in defense. "I hope everything works out with you guys for both of your sakes....he needs someone who makes him happy too and as much as I love my sister-in-law... Michelle was not that person." I admit and she smiles up at me before grabbing the bowl of popcorn and plopping down on the couch next to Brian.

Hmmm, speaking of Michelle.... I wonder how she's going to react!

I'm thinking of doing a Michelle POV next, what do you all think?

Do you think Brian and Alexis will have to defend their relationship/feelings for each other to almost everyone or do you think most ppl will be supportive?
