Tension

**Val's POV**

I lug all my bags onto the bus and make my way towards Matt's bunk. Most of the guys are settled in with the exception of Brian who's watching a movie with a vaguely familiar looking girl.

Matt sees me struggling with my luggage and takes everything from me before leaning down and placing a tender kiss on my lips. He sets my bags down and I glance back towards the front of the bus and point at the girl snuggled up to Brian, "Matt, who is that?" I ask and he raises an eyebrow at me.

"Are you asking because you want to know or because you think Michelle would want to know?" he says with a slight smile that shows off his adorable dimpled cheeks.

I punch him in the arm, "She looks familiar!" I hiss and avoid answering his question because I don't keep things from my sister.

He let's out a chuckle, "That's Alexis...she's Jimmy's cousin, remember her now?" he says and my jaw hits the floor.

"That's Alexis?!? Wow...she really grew up!" I say in a stunned voice and Matt full on laughs at me.

He pulls me into his arms and nuzzles his face against the side of my neck, "Yeah, we all grew up a lot...did you really expect she would just stay frozen in time?" he replies before
I pull away from him and tell him that I'm going to go say hello.

I'm making my way back towards the front of the bus but I stop dead in my tracks when I see Brian entwine his fingers with Alexis's before leaning over and kissing her on the lips...what the fuck?! I didn't even think she was legal!

I side step into the bathroom and pull out my cell phone and text Michelle.

'Hey Chelle, did you know Brian was seeing someone?-Val'

A few minutes later my phone vibrates in my hand.

'What?! No! WE JUST BROKE UP A MONTH AGO!! He's such a man whore! Do I know the skank?!- Chelle'

I ponder if I should tell her that she does know her and who it actually is because I know she's going to freak the fuck out..

....shit, I should have keep my mouth shut!

**Michelle's POV**
Val asks me if I know that Brian is seeing someone but clams up when I ask her if I know who it is...that's an answer in itself. I text Val again since she still hasn't responded to see if I can probe for more information.

'So...I guess I do know her....Please tell me who it is :( - Chelle'

'Hey, I shouldn't have said anything...let me make sure they are a thing before I cause you to worry over what could be nothing. I'm sorry - Val'

Ugh, that's such a bullshit response! Why won't she just tell me who it is?!? Doesn't she know that her refusal to answer is only making it worse!! Fuck it....I'm calling Brian so I can ask him myself. I dial his number and it just rings and rings..

...I hope he's not back to avoiding my calls.

**Brian's POV**
My cell phone starts ringing and I glance at the caller ID...ugh, it's Michelle. What in the world does she want?

Alexis catches a glimpse of the name on the display and frowns. I never did tell her the reason behind mine and Michelle's breakup, so I hope that she doesn't think she's calling and trying to get back together.

"You can answer it" she mumbles out sadly before standing up and making her way back towards the kitchen area.

I let out a sigh and slide the answer button, "Hey Chelle..what do you want?" I say in a semi-annoyed tone because she hasn't called me in weeks and now suddenly she wants to chat.

She let's out a slightly disgusted scoff and I just roll my eyes knowing that she can't see me. "Ugh, thanks for that warm greeting...I can't tell that I must be interrupting you" she says and I can't help but think that she hit the nail on the head with that one. "I just wanted to wish you good luck on tour and tell you that...I miss you" she finishes in a semi-innocent tone that makes me scoff back at her.

"You really have some nerve calling me and saying that after what you did" I seethe and can see Alexis trying desperately not to eavesdrop but my voice is echoing through the bus. I watch Val emerge from the bathroom with her head hung low in shame and suddenly I realize why Michelle is calling...she's pissed off I'm with Alexis!

"Fuck Brian...I said I was sorry...can't you just get over it?!" she argues back and I snap.

"YOU FUCKING CHEATED ON ME WITH YOUR EX WHILE WE WERE TOGETHER...NO I'M NOT JUST GOING TO GET.OVER.IT!" I punctuate the last three words so hopefully they sink in and see everyone make their way towards the front of the bus to check on me. I wave them off and turn my back to everyone, "I know Val told you that I'm with someone and that's the only reason you're calling...you're fucking jealous, and you should be! Alexis is smart, beautiful, kind and loving and you think that I would toss her aside to get back with a lying, cheating whore like yourself?!" I growl lowly so that she's the only one who can hear me.

"Alexis? Like Jimmy's teenage cousin, Alexis?! Fuck Bri, you're sick and desperate!" she snaps back and my blood begins to boil.

"Well, you're a jealous cunt!" I shout and chuck my phone across the bus. I really should have just ignored her call because I knew she would never just be happy for me. I spin back around and glare at Val, "Thanks for that" I spit and Matt puts a protective arm around her and pulls her back to their bunk.

Jimmy is just looking between Alexis and I and I know he's debating telling her that she's going to have to leave if the drama doesn't stop.

..I really don't want that

**Alexis's POV**

Brian said that Michelle cheated on him so that's what broke up their relationship and I'm floored. She always seemed so in love with him and let's be honest...he's the most attractive man alive, so why settle for anything less?

"I'm sorry Lexi Poo..." Jimmy says and suddenly I'm snapped back to reality. I look over at him with a confused expression so he continues, "I don't think that it is a good idea that you come along....fuck, we haven't even left yet and already the drama is starting." he finishes and glares over at Brian.

I can feel the hot tears pricking the corners of my eyes because I was really looking forward to join the tour. "I'm sorry" I mumble out as the tears being free falling down my cheeks.

"THAT'S COMPLETE BULLSHIT!" Brian shouts and gets up in Jimmy's face, "You have been searching for ways to keep us apart! You're going to let the fact that I got upset at Val for blabbing to my cheater ex-girlfriend be the reason you crush Lexi's dream?!? I thought you promised not to hurt her again, huh!?! You're unbelievable!" he screams and storms off in the direction of his bunk.

I attempt to control my emotions but to no avail....I'm a blubbering, speechless, mess right now. Jimmy tries to comfort me but I flinch away from him....Brian's right...he promised not to hurt me again and I'm definitely more than hurt that he's throwing me out.

"Lex, I'm..." he starts but I push past him and head to his bunk to grab my bags. Val gives me an apologetic look but I just want to run away because I don't want anyone's pity right now. I throw my bags over my shoulder and head back towards the door but Jimmy grabs me by the waist and pulls me back inside.

"Get off me Jimmy....you made it pretty clear that I'm not really welcome on the tour!" I sob but he holds on and squeezes me tighter.

"I'm sorry... I overreacted! I love you and I want you here ... please don't be mad at me" he begs and I let out a sigh.

"I love you too" I say and turn to face him, "...but you owe me big time" I smirk back at him and he frowns.

"Name your price....I have a feeling I'm not going to like it" he grumbles out and I grin devilishly back at him.

"I want to share a bunk with Brian" I state sternly and he pales slightly at my words sighs harshly.

...Oh, please say yes
