Chapter 6: She's Your Cousin?!

**Alexis's POV**
It has been just about a week since my birthday party and today is the day that I have been dreaming of for years....my high school graduation! Goodbye tear stained pillows, goodbye heartless bullies, goodbye to everyone who stood by idly while I was emotionally tortured....trust me, I won't miss you one bit!!
I stare at my reflection in the mirror and smile because I can still see the faded love mark left by Brian...damn, I thought I had died and gone to Heaven when he kisses me back and I felt his huge erection straining against his jeans begging to be let free...yes, I did that!
"Lex, are you ready?" my mom yells and I shout down that I'm on my way before slipping on my one and only dress...it's black (of course) and ends about mid-thigh. My mom always told me that a girl should own at least one dress so that's what I did...I owned one. I slide on a pair of black low top chucks because no matter how much she hates it, I will not waddle around like a duck for the sake of fashion. I make my way downstairs, "Really?" my mom scowls looking at my shoe choice but I just nod and peck her cheek.
We drive to my school and I make my way trough the halls that had been my torture chamber for the last few years and sigh....last day
....I can do this.
**Jimmy's POV**
"No, there is no way that you're coming!" I huff towards Brian and straighten my purple silk tie, "I saw the hickey you left on Lexi's neck and I can only pray that my Aunt and Uncle didn't or they will forbid her from coming on tour with us and that would crush her! Fuck Bri, don't you get it, this isn't just some girl...this is my family!" I growl and pull on my black jacket lined with matching purple silk.
"Jimbo, I like her and I don't intend on hurting her...why don't you trust me?!" he whines and I roll my eyes at him.
"I don't trust you because I've been your best friend for years and I see how you constantly flirt with women...plus, you and Michelle just broke up a few weeks ago and I don't want Alexis to be your rebound girl until the next one comes along" I say and push past him before I'm late for the graduation.
He grabs my arm and spins me back around to face him, "Please Jimmy I swear I'm not going to hurt her and that I don't think that she just another rebound girl...I want to be there for her today, please!!" he begs and I can't help but take pity on him.
I look into his hopeful brown eyes and sigh, "Fine, it starts in 45 minutes so let's go" I say and he actually claps his hand in excitement and runs to get changed. "Tick, tock Brian....you better not take a fucking hour to get ready like you normally do" I shout and he comes rushing back out in record time wearing a black button down shirt and black dress pants with a matching black vest over top. I chuckle slightly, "It's a high school graduation not a wedding...don't you think you're dressed a little over the top?!" I say and he arches an eyebrow at my appearance, "Ok, point taken!" I say and we make our way out to the car.
Brian looks at me nervously, "Um, do you think I could drive separately?" he asks and I nod my head that it's fine. I ask him if he knows where he's going and he reassures me that he does before I drive away.
I park at Lexi's high school and fight my way through the crowd looking for her. A few kids gasp and recognize me and I politely sign autographs for them...I guess Alexis never mentioned to her classmates that her cousin was the drummer in Avenged Sevenfold. I briefly stop and wonder,
...which one of these kids made her life a living hell?!
**Brian's POV**
I ask Jimmy if I could drive separately so I can stop and pick up flowers for Alexis...I want to be the one that makes her smile and I hope that this does the trick in way way that doesn't cause her dad to beat me bloody.
I get a beautiful bouquet of purple roses and walk into her high school and see Jimmy signing autographs for kids. "Oh God, did you see that the Rev from Avenged Sevenfold is here?!" a girl squeaks from in front of where I'm standing.
"Jeez Amanda, you're fangirling worse than that loser Alexis is...and she's obsessed with them! Her pathetically useless fat ass is always wearing their band t-shirts and listening to their songs. Plus, I so don't listen to that crap so I have no idea who he is..although, I will say that he is super sexy" the snobby girl next to her replies and I have never wanted to punch a girl before I heard this skank open her mouth.
"Ew you're right Laura..that girl should have done this world a favor and killed herself a long time ago! I mean, she's such a stupid whore that nobody would miss her anyway!" Amanda laughs and I'm fuming at the ears....these are the fucking bitches that tormented Lexi!!!
"Holy shit...it's Synyster Gates!" a boy says from next to me and I plaster on a fake smile as the girls turn around to look at me. They are practically undressing me with their eyes and I have to fight the urge to vomit all over them. The boy slings his arm over Laura's shoulder then glances around the room, "Oh shit, somebody better tell loser Lexi that her dream guy finally showed up" he says and they all start laughing.
"That's classic, Alex!" bitchy Laura says just as I see Alexis appear behind them with tears in her eyes...needless to say, my heart sinks at the sight.
Alex turns and follows my line of sight and laughs, "Aw look she's crying again....do us all a favor and just DIE!" he says and I quickly push past them and hand Alexis the flowers before turning back and punching this asshole in the gut.
Amanda and Laura shriek in horror and Jimmy runs over and grabs me by the arms, "Brian! What the fuck are you doing?!" he growls through gritted teeth as a large crowd starts to form around us.
I shrug out of his grasp and point in the direction of the three shell-shocked people standing before me, "Jimmy these are the people who bullied your cousin and told her she should kill herself!" I growl and watch his expression go dark.
"She's your cousin?!" Amanda exclaims and Jimmy pulls Alexis into his arms and lets her sob against his chest. The entire crowd of parents and teachers are staring at the group of tormentors in disgust. The principle makes his way over and tells them that bullying is not permitted and will not be tolerated by any of his students.... and since they haven't officially graduated yet, that they are all expelled and not allowed to graduate with the rest of their classmates.
Jimmy and Alexis's parents look at me with grateful eyes and I politely nod my head in appreciation of their approval. Lexi sniffles and turns her head to face me...her eyes are bloodshot and I hope she not mad at me because I caused her so much attention.
"Alexis, I'm..." I say before she crashes her lips down on top of mine. I glance over and see Jimmy leading her parents away to give us some privacy and close my eyes and kiss back before she breaks it and stares up at me and smiles.
"Thank you" she says quietly and I'm not sure if she means for the flowers, the kiss, or for standing up for her..
...but, I would gladly do all three again just to see her smile
