It's almost easy...

Someone poked me in the side and I woke up with a start.

“What time is it?” I yawned and looked around for who had poked me. The only one close was Brian. Typical.

“I dunno man. We land in like a half hour.” he told me and then disappeared. Probably back to his own seat.

Wow… I slept for ages. I kinda blame that on the wine though. I love it, but it always makes me incredibly sleepy.

I scrubbed both hands over my face and through my mohawk and blinked the sleep out of my eyes. I can hear Taylor fussing, and were we not so close to landing, I’d offer to take her for Roxy. I like ‘babysitting’. It allows me to play kiddy games with her, and play with toys, when usually the others would hang shit on me for doing it. I also wanna take her for the fact that Roxy hasn’t been feeling too well the whole flight. She ate when they brought us our meals, but like an hour later, she literally bolted for the bathroom. I buckled my seatbelt and closed my eyes for another second until…

“Oi short shit! You fell asleep again!” someone half yelled and someone else was throwing something at me.

“Fuck you all. Seriously.” I groaned and opened my eyes, finding Jimmy grinning at me, and Matt pegging Peanut M ‘n’ M’s at my head, every second one he didn’t eat. I snatched one out of the air and ate it before frowning at them both. “You’re assholes. Where’s everyone else?” I grumbled.

“Gone already bro. I think poor Roxy needed to puke again. She took Taylor and bolted the second the doors opened.” Matt frowned.

Good…that means I’m not the only one that feels bad for her.

“Syn and Zee followed her before you ask.” Jimmy chuckled and I bent over to grab my bag from under the seat. I grabbed my other overnight bag from the overhead locker and followed the other two off the plane and out into the arrival lounge.

“Yay! The plane didn’t eated you!” Taylor squealed happily from her perch on Zacky’s knee and I chuckled.

“It tried princess, but we fought it off.” I told her and flexed my muscles.

“Where’s momma baby girl?” Jimmy asked her and she frowned.

“Mommy go vomit again. Yucky.” she said and crinkled her nose.

“But Uncle B went to go get her something to drink didn’t he?” Zacky said and Taylor nodded.

“Ok. You guys stay here I guess…we’ll go help the others get the rest of the luggage.” Matt said and I groaned a little. “You can sleep again when we get in the van.” he told me with a laugh.

"Fiiiine." I sighed and threw my other bags down and headed after Matt and Jimmy.

After what seemed for fucking ever, we got all our luggage and crap and had packed it into another van. Zacky and B and everyone else had met up with us and we just had to wait for our driver to come back from getting a drink, or something, and then we could be on our way and I could have another nap.

"Are you okay?" I asked Roxy when she appeared.

"I've definitely been better." She half giggled and took a tentative sip of the iced tea Syn had gotten her.
"Food poisoning?" I guessed and she nodded but shrugged before Taylor piped up with an awesome answer.

"Mommy! Maybe Uncle B gave you cooties!" She cried and I chewed on my lip to stifle my laugh.

"Hey! If mommy has them, you'd have them too princess!" Brian chuckled and finally our driver came back.

"Alright. I really don't care who has cooties. Let's go to the hotel. I want a shower." Jimmy announced.

"Amen." I echoed and we all bundled into the van and headed off on the short trip to our hotel for the night.

“Ah! Sweet comfort!” I cried when I made it to the room im sharing with Zacky and I flopped on my bed.

“Not for long. We have an interview later remember?” Zee chuckled and I glared at him.

“You’re a party pooper.” I frowned and he shrugged.

“Not my fault you sleep more than Taylor does man. I get first shower!” he cried and bolted for the bathroom.

“Take as long as you need.” I smirked and closed my eyes to wait for my turn.

“Dude! Seriously?!” I heard a while later and forced my eyes open.

Ooops?

“Yes seriously. I blame the wine.” I grumbled and grabbed a change of clothes for my turn in the bathroom.

Once I was under the hot water I perked up a bit and washed the ‘plane’ off me. I finished and changed into my fresh clothes and stepped out of the steamy bathroom and back into the room.

“I was worried you’d fallen asleep in there too.” Zacky told me and I threw my balled up jeans at him.

“Fuck you!” I half snapped at him.

“Maybe later.” he smirked and this time I threw my boxers at him. “Oh gross!” he cried and scrambled away from them.

I cackled at him and threw the rest of my stuff at my bag. “When’s the interview?”

“Just got a text from Shadows to meet downstairs in like…15.” he told me after checking his watch.

“Well…we’re gonna end up having to wait for one of them…wanna go down to the foyer and have a drink so we make sure we’re not the ones being waited for?” I suggested and Zee nodded.

“As long as you promise no wine. Don’t wanna have to be keeping you awake during this interview.” he chuckled and I punched him as we got our shoes, grabbed the room key, and left the room.

We headed downstairs tot the bar for a drink, and luckily didn’t have to wait too long for the others to show up. A car took us to the venue and after what seemed like no fucking time at all, the interview was over. They tend to largely ignore me in things like this, but it seemed like one second I was being groped by some cute stage manager as she miced me up, and the next the interviewer was asking the last question and we were saying good bye.

"Ok...I'm hungry. Who wants food?" Syn asked as we got back to our green room and all five of us, plus the Berry's who had tagged along, put up their hands.

"Wait! Should we maybe call Roxy and Nathan and see if they want to come too?" Matt suggested. "Like make it a group thing? After all, we weren't the only ones eating the dodgy plane food earlier." He chuckled.

"I'm good with that. Someone call them, I'll call a cab." I said. I called for one of those maxi taxi things and when I was done, Brian was on the phone.

“You wanna come with us for some food princess? Yeah? Ok. Put momma on the phone sweetie. Yes I know. Dude, since when does she talk that much?” he chuckled. Taylor must have answered the phone and then given it to Roxy. “So you wanna come grab some food with us? Yeah, we’ll get the taxi to come round and pick you guys and Nath up. I don’t care whether you’re going to actually eat or not, you’re coming!” he cried and grinned. “We’ll see you soon then. Ciao!” he said and hung up. “They’re in. Rox doesn’t know if she’ll eat, but Taylor will.” he told us and we all nodded.

Like 15 minutes later we got the call that the cab had arrived, and we all headed out the front of the venue, there were a handful of fans that we stopped and chatted to for a little while, but eventually we all got inside the cab and told the driver which hotel we were at. When we pulled up, Nathan, Roxy and Taylor were all out the front waiting, and Taylor started waving madly when she realised we were inside.

“Hi pumpkin. Wanna come to TGIFridays with us?” I cooed when I opened the door and she nodded madly. “I bet you’re hungry huh?” I asked her and took her from Roxy as she and Nathan climbed in to join the rest of us.

"Yessum." She nodded. "Mommy says I has to make up for her not eating." She told me as I settled her in my lap. I looked up at Roxy then and she shrugged.
"Someone's gotta make up for these boys baby girl." She grinned then smirked when she got a 'hey!' out of Brian.
